00:00There's always going to be a newer car, a nicer car and stuff.
00:02Which makes us want to always get that dopamine hit.
00:05Considerate, I don't know if there's a right word to say,
00:07but I would sort of like punish myself for doing these things.
00:10So example, she bought too many bottles, she realised it, go and return it.
00:13I know it's a bit like leche, but it's not about getting the money back.
00:16It's about...
00:16You dah beli?
00:18Exactly.
00:18Nowadays, we've f***ing even worse.
00:20We've watched all these short form videos.
00:22I'm sure you've seen those like...
00:23I've seen it!
00:24And then they make a lot of these purchases.
00:26And then slowly, you start to see, oh my god, my bill for next month, it's already 500 ringgit.
00:31Oh my god!
00:32My bill for the month after that, it's already 500 ringgit as well.
00:39What's up guys?
00:39My name is Ymir.
00:40Welcome back to The Money Goal.
00:42Today I have Aisha again with me.
00:43It's me!
00:44What do you want to talk about?
00:45I want to buy...
00:46I want to buy...
00:48See?
00:49It's already in my head.
00:51It's a mindset thing.
00:52I want to talk about buying things online.
00:54Okay.
00:55Yeah.
00:55So I have a problem.
00:57It's a very bad problem.
00:59You know how these days we have all these apps that you can buy basically anything you want.
01:06Groceries, furnitures, anything.
01:10So I've been online shopping.
01:12A bit too much.
01:13Oh my gosh.
01:15Sometimes, right, in my cart, that's like 12 things on the way every month.
01:1912 things on the way at the same time.
01:20Yeah.
01:21I just showed Yasmin, our producer, I just showed her this morning.
01:25Like my WhatsApp, the delivery guy.
01:28The same guy keep on sending me photos.
01:31Oh yeah, parcel dekat pagai.
01:33To be picked up.
01:33To be picked up.
01:34Yeah.
01:35In front of my door.
01:36Every single day.
01:37So, this is what I want to know.
01:41Like, how do you deal with things like not able to prioritize things that are important, like savings.
01:53Like you've always said, right?
01:55Younger people need emergency savings.
01:58You need to prioritize, you know, paying your insurance, paying yourself first.
02:01Yeah.
02:01Paying your bills.
02:03But things like this, like, things that I...
02:04It's tempting, right?
02:05Yeah.
02:06So, I'm like, this month, I feel like, ooh, I want this new kasut.
02:10Yep.
02:11I can just, you know, go online.
02:13Yeah.
02:13It's really easy.
02:14But now, I have the same problem.
02:16So, someone else coming to give us advice.
02:17Alamak!
02:20Okay, okay.
02:21How often do you buy, though?
02:23Actually, quite often.
02:24Yeah.
02:24Okay, but I have the realization that I'm doing a bit too much as well.
02:27But, I have a...
02:28I sort of understand why we're doing this.
02:30Okay.
02:31So, I don't know about you, but every time I buy something, especially something that I want,
02:35so, and we're talking about cat food, obviously, it's not that exciting.
02:37I have to buy it, right?
02:38We can't stop doing that.
02:39But whenever I buy something like you, a new shoe, new pants, and stuff.
02:44It feels so good, right?
02:46Especially when we get discounts, right?
02:48Like, if you get six cents.
02:48Oh my god, you can stack!
02:50Exactly!
02:51Vouchions are sent off, free shipping and everything.
02:55And it feels even better, right?
02:56So, I'm saving so much money.
02:58And I realized that every time we buy something, we get a dopamine hit.
03:02It's like...
03:02I don't know how to explain the feeling, but it feels so like...
03:06It's like so good, you know?
03:07It feels so nice to buy something.
03:08But you understand.
03:10Yeah, I do, I do, I do.
03:11For sure.
03:11I do it after.
03:12The problem is, I also noticed that the dopamine hits don't last very long.
03:17It's a...
03:18You get the hit, and then tomorrow you're like, okay.
03:21What's next?
03:22You know, your item hasn't even been shipped out yet, and you're really thinking, what's
03:25next, you know?
03:26I keep scrolling.
03:27Yeah, exactly.
03:28I keep scrolling.
03:29And it's not just small items.
03:31So when I bought my car, I was so excited for it.
03:33It was my first car.
03:34I bought an X50.
03:34And I think I got like a huge dopamine hit.
03:37And I was like, oh, I'm going to love this car.
03:39I'm going to sayang this car.
03:40I'm going to wash it like every day.
03:42I'm going to do this and that, right?
03:43And an older colleague told me, just enjoy this now.
03:46Because after one month, you won't care about it anymore.
03:47I was like, no lah.
03:48Can't be me.
03:49And it actually...
03:50Yeah.
03:50Because there's always going to be a newer car, a nicer car and stuff, which makes us
03:55want to always get that dopamine hit, which is why we constantly buy and buy and buy, because
04:00we want that dopamine hit, right?
04:02So I think this is the issue.
04:04And how I try to solve it is that I try to look for the dopamine hits in other ways.
04:09So there are actually other ways for you to do it.
04:11For example, if you track your net worth or if you track your savings, if you do that
04:19and you make like...
04:20I actually have this lah.
04:21So an Excel, and then you update it every month or every quarter.
04:25And you just make like nice bar graphs, charts and stuff like that.
04:29And when you see that number going up as in your savings, your net worth, it actually
04:32gives you a dopamine hit as well.
04:33Sometimes when I look at my Excel, I'm like, not bad.
04:36Your money's going up.
04:37Exactly, exactly, exactly.
04:38Okay, so you want to sort of like gamify, tracking your personal finances.
04:44It's like tricking yourself lah.
04:45Exactly, yeah.
04:46Because the thing about shopping is it will never end.
04:48I think we will constantly need more.
04:50That's why a lot of people do this lah.
04:52The thing that I like to buy, especially online, are toys.
04:56Toys?
04:56What kind of toys?
04:57Yeah.
04:58Like little games that...
04:59You know, can I say the brand?
05:01Like Tamagotchi.
05:03Is that the thing?
05:04Yeah.
05:05Okay.
05:05And sometimes, if you buy it in stores, physically, it's like $130, but you can get
05:11it online for like $80.
05:12Such a good deal, right?
05:13That's why you keep buying.
05:14That's why you have to...
05:15But I play it for like two days.
05:17Exactly.
05:18Exactly.
05:18I've been sick before.
05:20Nowadays, it's even worse.
05:22I don't know if I can say that.
05:22But yeah, because...
05:23Because you know, we watch all these short form videos, and I'm sure you've seen those
05:29like...
05:29I've seen it!
05:30Okay, so I fell for this like thing, they say, oh, you can clean your iPhone, and your
05:36Apple Watch, and your Apple Watch, and everything.
05:38And it was like $10.
05:39I was like, oh my god, such a good deal.
05:41I can clean everything.
05:41Is it really $10 though?
05:42Yeah, it was.
05:43Oh my god.
05:44Okay, but the problem is, it arrived.
05:46I tried it.
05:46I'm like, let's throw it away.
05:48Really?
05:49Yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:50That's the thing.
05:50We buy a lot of this, especially small ticket items.
05:53I think those are the dangerous ones.
05:54Because when we think it's below $50, whatever, right?
05:59But slowly, after a while, you keep buying, buying, buying, it will stack up.
06:02It will stack up.
06:03Yeah.
06:03Yeah.
06:04But also, recently, all this online shopping, I've seen a lot on the apps that they have
06:10this buy now, pay later thing.
06:12Yeah.
06:13I've never used it.
06:14Okay.
06:14But one day, I was curious.
06:17So I activated my BNPL.
06:19Yeah.
06:20And then they gave me like, 8,000 ringgit that I can use.
06:25Yeah.
06:25With no background check even.
06:27Yeah.
06:27Yeah.
06:28So I have 8,000 ringgit that I can buy things.
06:31But I've never used it because I'm too scared to use it.
06:33Yeah.
06:33Because it's kind of like hutang, right?
06:35Yeah.
06:35It is.
06:36But some of my friends have said that it helped them, you know, to buy baju raya.
06:43Yeah.
06:43Baju raya and stuff.
06:43Yeah.
06:44So they say it's pretty good as long as you pay it on time.
06:48Yeah.
06:49Of course.
06:49Of course.
06:50They're trying to, they're telling me that it's good.
06:52So I want to know, okay, fine.
06:54It helps you like plan your budget for like important things like raya ke, apa ke.
07:01But is it really good, you know, to use for shopping for?
07:05Okay.
07:06That's a good question.
07:07Okay.
07:07So I do use BNPL.
07:08Oh, you do?
07:09Yeah.
07:09I've used BNPL and okay, I use it for a very specific reason, for a credit card benefit
07:15basically, but I won't talk about that now.
07:17Oh, you can get credit card benefits?
07:19Yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:19You can.
07:20I won't go so deep into that.
07:21So I went in with that intention and I would say I'm quite well versed with personal finances,
07:25right?
07:26But I realized that BNPL can be really bad.
07:30Even for me, I fell for it.
07:31So the thing is, one is you can buy something and then at the end of the month you pay,
07:35right?
07:36One month payment.
07:36So I guess that one's okay lah because you still have to buy, you still have to pay
07:40at the end of the month.
07:41But the bad ones are like when you split it over three months, over six months and stuff.
07:46So when you buy bajiraya, instead of buying RM100, which is within your budget, now you're
07:51thinking, eh, RM300, if over three months, it's only RM100 per month.
07:54If over six months, it's only RM50 a month.
07:56And this is how people can really get tricked into it because then you start to think about,
08:00eh, monthly it's only this amount, right?
08:02And then they make a lot of these purchases and then slowly you start to see, oh my god,
08:08my bill for next month is already RM500.
08:10Oh my god.
08:11My bill for the month after that is already RM500 as well.
08:14And I think this is the really bad part about BNPL.
08:17It's when you start breaking it down into smaller, smaller payments over a few months
08:21and now suddenly you have thousands of ringgits worth of commitment over the next few months
08:24that you have to pay off.
08:25So this has happened to me, but I mean, it's not like a crazy amount of luck.
08:30And there are things that I could have afforded to buy and win the first place.
08:34I only split it out again because of credit card benefits.
08:37But then I realised, it really hit me like, wow, this is crazy.
08:41And I can imagine how someone on a lower income with maybe cash flow who is not so good
08:45can really then fall into this trap where your income is maybe you're taking home RM2,005
08:50a month and this is like RM500 or 20% of your entire salary.
08:54It's crazy.
08:55I've never thought of it like that.
08:58Because they do offer like 3 months, 6 months and then 12 months, right?
09:02And it gives me 8,000 limit.
09:04So if I spend that 8,000 for like a year.
09:07Yeah.
09:08No, you can only spend up to 8,000.
09:10It's not 8,000 per month.
09:10You can't do like 8,000 per month.
09:12Yeah, 8,000.
09:138,000 then divide it for me a year.
09:15Oh, for 12 months.
09:17How much am I paying a month?
09:18About, I think 700 lah.
09:20That's quite a lot.
09:22For a year.
09:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:23Oh, crazy.
09:24That's actually a car punya instalment.
09:27Exactly, exactly.
09:28And I think a lot of people actually fall for this.
09:30And they get to the point that they cannot pay it anymore.
09:32And that 8,000 limit is not your money.
09:35Exactly.
09:35It's your borrowing for someone.
09:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:37You basically like a credit card then.
09:39It is.
09:40But because it's so accessible, that's why I think a lot of people are falling for it.
09:44So credit cards, you actually have to apply with the bank.
09:47The bank wants to know your salary.
09:48The bank wants to know your current credit score.
09:50How do you pay your loans?
09:50So the people who get credit cards, not that they're all extremely good at managing their
09:55money, but at least they have done some checks.
09:57This one, pretty much anyone, anyone with the app can get access to BNPL, which makes
10:02it worse lah.
10:03Yeah.
10:04Because you're not sure if the person can pay it monthly or not.
10:07Exactly, exactly.
10:07And it just makes buying even easier.
10:09Yeah.
10:10Before this, if I wanted to buy a RM300 shoe, I needed to save money for it.
10:14Now, I'll say, oh, okay, let's just make it RM100 a month.
10:17It's okay.
10:18Yeah.
10:18So now you get to buy first, pay later.
10:20Before this, you had to save, save, save.
10:22And then you can buy.
10:23So it made buying even easier.
10:25So with your 12 items being delivered every month now, if you turn on BNPL, it'll probably
10:29be 24.
10:3024, 30.
10:31Maybe you should just deactivate it back.
10:35Okay.
10:35If I want to, you know, try it, like you said, credit card benefits, if I want it, right?
10:40Okay.
10:41What, you know, something, are there things that I need to be, you know, aware of before
10:46I start even using BNPL?
10:48Because I don't know how to use it.
10:49Yeah.
10:49So the advice for me is the same as the advice for using credit card.
10:53You can only, you should only buy something that you can pay for in cash.
10:56Oh, okay.
10:56So you should not treat BNPL as a way, like you said earlier about your friends, as a
11:01way to manage your cash flow.
11:02Because I don't have money for this right here, I'm going to BNPL it because I will
11:06take for my salary in the future months.
11:07You should not do that.
11:08I will only buy BNPL if I can afford it today.
11:11I just want to split it over three months because it's 0% interest and I get some credit
11:16card benefits.
11:17Yeah.
11:17I think the thing is, a lot of people use it the way that you say your friends use
11:20it, which is why it's bad.
11:22To me, if you cannot afford it, then buy something cheaper.
11:25Buy something cheaper.
11:26Understood.
11:26Yeah.
11:27Okay.
11:27So also, because we've been doing this podcast for like, I don't know, 10 episodes already.
11:33Yeah.
11:33Okay.
11:34So we have some questions as well from some of our viewers.
11:37Related to shopping?
11:38Related to shopping.
11:40A lot of people have shopping issues, right?
11:42Yeah.
11:43It's a Malaysian thing, I guess.
11:44We love shopping.
11:45Okay.
11:46So for the first person, they say it started with a buy two free one promo skincare.
11:52Oh, skincare.
11:53There's a lot of promos.
11:54Have you seen it?
11:56No.
11:56Okay.
11:56I'm not.
11:57I don't buy skincare.
11:57So there's a lot of this, like, you can buy one set and then you get 50% off.
12:03Okay.
12:03Yeah.
12:04Okay.
12:04Okay.
12:05So, the person said, yeah, buy two free ones.
12:09So it's basically like a 50%.
12:10Buy two free ones is not 50%.
12:12Buy two free ones is 33%.
12:14Buy one free one is 50%.
12:15This is why he's the one advising us on finances.
12:19Okay.
12:19Okay.
12:20Okay.
12:20So before I knew it, I had six tabs open and RM400 worth of ones in my cart.
12:27The worst part, I told myself I was being smart because it was on sale.
12:30Okay.
12:31But when the bill came, I had no savings left for my car service.
12:35I had to borrow from my sister again.
12:38She said again.
12:39All that saving actually cost me more.
12:42Yep.
12:42So she'd been saving money.
12:44Okay.
12:44But because of this sale, she said, oh, it's a good deal, kind of 50% off.
12:48Yep.
12:48Yep.
12:48Yep.
12:49So she keeps using her savings, savings, savings.
12:51And suddenly she's been spent, she spent already RM400 and now she had to borrow money for emergency.
12:57Okay.
12:58What are the small budgeting set?
12:59Oh, she has a question.
13:00What are the small budgeting steps you can take today to stop impulse buying and slowly rebuild the savings that she lost?
13:06Okay.
13:06So there's a few ways to do this.
13:09One is you can use the, you know, 50, 30, 20 budgeting method where basically 30% of all things that you want.
13:15Or you allocate a budget to yourself basically, however much you want, where you can spend it on things that you want.
13:19You can spend it freely however you want.
13:20That's one way.
13:20Set it aside every month at the start of the month.
13:22And then you only spend that.
13:24Once it's depleted, it's over.
13:26Okay.
13:26You need to stop buying anything.
13:27That's one way.
13:28Yeah.
13:28Right.
13:29Another way is if you want to focus on savings, this is my preferred method.
13:33I will always save money first.
13:35So get your salary, save money first.
13:37The rest, spend it however you want.
13:38That's a hard part.
13:40Yeah.
13:40There are a lot of people that find this difficult because I save money first, I spend the rest, and then, oh no, not enough.
13:46I need to take back from my savings.
13:47Gloroughly.
13:47Exactly.
13:48Yeah.
13:48Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:49So that is another way that you can do it.
13:51It depends on you.
13:52But in my opinion, budgeting can't really solve this problem.
13:57So to me, if you are buying, buying, buying, you can't control yourself.
14:01Like I said, right?
14:02It's a dopamine hit.
14:03And budgeting doesn't work because budgeting is restricting yourself.
14:06It's negative reinforcement, right?
14:08Like, oh, I'm going to stop myself from doing it.
14:10So you need to find other ways to get your dopamine hit.
14:15You need to, like I said.
14:17Go run.
14:17Yeah, exactly.
14:18Even go for a walk.
14:19Even go for a walk.
14:20I think these things will really, like, actually help you.
14:23Yeah.
14:23Or you make it harder for yourself to buy things.
14:27You make it harder.
14:27I mean, like, delete the app.
14:28Exactly.
14:28Make it, yeah.
14:29You need to increase resistance to buying because this is so easy to buy.
14:33It's so easy to buy.
14:33Yeah.
14:34I think, just a quick story, okay?
14:36Okay.
14:36I am young enough, but I've went through, like, the payment methods so quickly.
14:42Like, the transformation payment methods.
14:43When I was a bit younger, in my adult life, about 17, we were still using cash.
14:47I'm sure you used cash, right?
14:48When you were younger.
14:49For online?
14:49No, no, no.
14:50For buying stuff in general, right?
14:51Yes, yes.
14:52And I think the thing about using cash is that you actually see money leaving your wallet.
14:56And, you know, if you have 500 ringgit, you take out, like, oh, my God.
14:59Yeah.
14:59Suddenly, my wallet's empty.
15:00I need to, like, control myself.
15:01Have to go to ATM.
15:02Exactly.
15:03And I'm like, oh, my God.
15:04I just went to the ATM yesterday.
15:05I can't believe I have to do this again.
15:07My spending is out of control.
15:08I need to stop.
15:09Yeah.
15:09Right?
15:10And then we went to e-wallets.
15:11E-wallets, to me, I still saw my balance go down.
15:14And I was like, oh, my God.
15:15It's going down.
15:16But the thing is, money's not leaving my wallet.
15:18Now, it's just going down here, which to me was like, oh, okay.
15:20Can't talk about it.
15:21Not bad.
15:22Yeah, not bad.
15:23Now, there's a final stage, which is credit cards and BNPL, where you don't even see
15:27your balance go down.
15:28Your savings account, the money doesn't go out because you're using credit cards, because
15:32you're using BNPL.
15:32Yeah, it's not your money.
15:33So, this is the worst stage.
15:35This is the most difficult part.
15:36So, you need to build, like, friction for you to buy things.
15:39Either maybe stop using credit cards, delete that.
15:44Like you said, I think that is another way.
15:45But yeah, I think these are the things that you need to do.
15:47I don't think budgeting can help.
15:49You can try it out.
15:50If it works, then perfect.
15:51Otherwise, you need to think about other ways.
15:53Or you can be like in the movie and you potong the credit card go.
15:55Yeah, you can actually just do it for dramatic effect.
15:58Okay, we have one more story.
16:00Okay.
16:01Okay.
16:01I used to get so excited when the passes arrive.
16:05Unboxing felt like Christmas.
16:07But lately, every delivery just reminded me of money I shouldn't have spent.
16:11Okay.
16:11One month, I bought four different water bottles.
16:17I'm sorry.
16:19Different colors.
16:21Same function.
16:23RM 20 ringgit.
16:24And then RM 40 ringgit.
16:26And then it added up to over RM 300 ringgit.
16:29Now I've got a drawer full of cute things I never use.
16:32And a bank account that's constantly on life support.
16:36The question is, what are some simple financial steps you can take to track your spending and slowly regain control over impulsive or unnecessary purchases?
16:45Okay.
16:45So I think there's a lot of apps these days.
16:48I think they're asking the right question, basically, how do you track?
16:50Which is essentially what you need to do at this point, right?
16:54So many apps on the App Store these days.
16:55Just download any of it.
16:56And then for three months, just track every single ringgit that goes out.
17:00And then see where your money is going.
17:01Yeah.
17:01Right?
17:02I think in this person's instance, you're buying a bit too many water bottles.
17:05Small, small things.
17:06Because she said, first it was RM 20 ringgit and then RM 40 ringgit.
17:09Then at the end of the month, she saw it and said, eh, I spent $400 for all this much more.
17:14It adds up.
17:14I think for this person, the good thing is they already realize that it's an issue.
17:20Because when they buy it, when it's getting delivered, they already regret.
17:23They already regret.
17:24It's not like, you know, at the end of the month, I see my credit card bill is so high
17:27that I regret.
17:28They already know that, ah, I shouldn't have bought this, but it's already here, right?
17:31Something that I do, okay, this one's a bit weird lah.
17:34But when I do this, so I would consider, I don't know if there's a right word to say,
17:39but I would like, sort of like punish myself for doing these things.
17:42Okay.
17:42So, do things that you wouldn't want to do.
17:45So, example, she bought too many bottles, she realized it, go and return it.
17:50I know it's a bit like, leceh, ah, just for RM 20 ringgit, I have to go return it.
17:53But it's not about getting the money back.
17:55It's about...
17:57You dah beli?
17:58Exactly.
17:59Disciplining yourself.
17:59Disciplining yourself.
18:00Yeah.
18:00You do that.
18:02Alternatively, if it's like, you have a drawer full of things, force yourself to go sell it.
18:05Use Carousel or whatever, Facebook Marketplace.
18:07Maybe you only get RM 5, RM 10 ringgit back, but you're doing it again, not for the money,
18:11just as a reminder to yourself of things that, basically, your mistakes lah.
18:16You know, I understand.
18:18I do.
18:18Because it's such a hassle, kan?
18:19You get rid of it, you don't want to throw it away, because you sayang, kan?
18:23You spend money on it, so now you have to sell it.
18:25Yep, yep, yep.
18:26You have to, like, put in effort to go to the post office, hantar, ah, okay, fahal.
18:31Something like this happened to me before, not exactly the same lah.
18:33What have you been doing online?
18:35I'm so much for this, right?
18:36No.
18:36Okay, this one has nothing to do with spending issue, but basically, I bought this pair of
18:39shoes for the gym, and it was, like, $250 or $400, I don't know.
18:43Wow.
18:43And I really liked it.
18:44May have got money, then.
18:45No, no, no.
18:45The gym, it's an investment for my health, yeah.
18:49And then two months later, I lost it.
18:50I lost the shoes.
18:51Yeah, yeah, I think, after the kappa, I changed my back to my slippers, and I left it on the
18:55floor, yeah.
18:56So I lost it, I lost it.
18:57The thing is, I needed another shoe.
18:59I still needed a shoe to go to the gym, but I needed to punish myself.
19:01So how did I do it?
19:03I looked for the cheapest Nike shoe, same model.
19:06But you know how, whenever they do clearance, it's because it's the ugly colours.
19:10So I bought this bright, hot, red pair of Nike shoes to go to the gym.
19:14It was so ugly.
19:16And whenever I went, people were like, wow, nice shoes, bro.
19:20With a face, I'm...
19:21So I could afford to just buy the same shoe again, a nice shoe, something that looked cool.
19:25But I thought to myself, because this was a silly mistake for me, I needed to live through
19:30it.
19:30So this year was the year that my punishment ended.
19:33It was two years of me living with those shoes.
19:36Did you bring the shoe?
19:37I threw it away.
19:37No, no, I gave it to someone.
19:38I gave it to someone, yeah.
19:39So these are things that the person can do.
19:41Because they realise that they made the mistake already.
19:43Just do all these small, small things so that the next time you want to buy it again, you
19:47remember, oh, I want to return this.
19:48Do I want to go through the hassle of selling it?
19:50Yeah, I think that might work.
19:51You know what?
19:52That actually is a good idea.
19:53Maybe you should do it for your...
19:54What?
19:55Tamagutu.
19:58Anyways.
19:59Yeah.
19:59That's actually good help.
20:02Yeah.
20:03So if you guys have a shopping problem...
20:05Like me.
20:06Like us.
20:06Like us.
20:07Like us.
20:08Exactly.
20:09Number one.
20:10If you can, set yourself a budget.
20:12See if you will follow it.
20:13Make sure you don't go over your budget.
20:15If you've finished up your shopping money for the month, too bad.
20:19Wait for next month.
20:20Right?
20:20That's number one.
20:21Number two.
20:22If you really have a shopping problem that you need to think about, is it because you
20:25want the dopamine hits?
20:26Find other ways to get it.
20:28Go for a walk.
20:28Start tracking your savings and stuff.
20:30Number three.
20:32Worst case scenario.
20:33Make it more difficult to shop.
20:35Cut your credit cards.
20:36Delete the apps if you have to.
20:38Buy only with cash if you have to.
20:40I think these are the things that you should do if you have a shopping problem.
20:42Anyway, at the end of the day, it is lece to buy stuff if you deleted the app.
20:49But it's a bit more lece if you are in thousands of ringgit in debt.
20:52So I would say one is better than the other.
20:55Alright.
20:55Cool.
20:56Thank you so much, guys, for watching this episode.
20:57Thanks, Aisha.
20:58Nice to meet you again.
20:59See you guys in the next one.
