00:00Hey, it's Joe from FeeCampTV Studios, back with another episode of Radio DJ Reacts with JR.
00:07And JR is really excited because I'm about to take him into the Willennium, the Will 2K.
00:13Actually, just the regular 2K.
00:16The first show that we're going to have JR take a look at is That 70s Show,
00:21a classic sitcom from the late 90s to the early 2000s.
00:25The character of Donna actually became a radio DJ.
00:30Radio DJ Reacts, feel the rhythm it attracts.
00:36And this is where we do the interviews.
00:39All right, a couple of RE20s in here.
00:41I'm already excited.
00:42Industry standard.
00:43Good times.
00:45All the audio processing rocks behind him.
00:47This is super cool.
00:47So if I sit here long enough, I might see a rock star throw up?
00:49See it?
00:50You'll probably clean it up.
00:52Yeah, probably.
00:53All right.
00:55Look at all the tapes.
00:56Oh, yeah.
00:57This is Jerry Thunder.
01:00Who?
01:00Coming to you on the sound.
01:02When you first got started, were you as excited as Donna was to meet the radio jocks?
01:08I'll tell you, as a musician early on, I was super excited to meet who would eventually become my mentor, Rob Steele.
01:15Because growing up listening to this guy, it was very Jerry Thunder, I think you said was his name.
01:21I just imagine that Steelzy lived in just the biggest house and had the coolest car and, you know, had like six chicks on his arm at all time.
01:30As far as other jocks, I'm always excited to meet other jocks because I think you can always learn something from somebody.
01:38They say the best salesman, you know, always steals the best lines from the best salesman.
01:42And I think it applies for radio jocks, too.
01:45And it looks like we got a new office, girl.
01:47Okay.
01:48What's your name, baby?
01:50Um, Donna?
01:52Donna.
01:53Hmm.
01:54Well, Donna, you are hot.
01:57So I'm going to call you Hot Donna.
02:01Yes.
02:05Okay.
02:06You got yourself a boyfriend, Hot Donna.
02:10This guy's going for it.
02:12Um, no.
02:16Mmm, that is good news, fellas.
02:19Because Hot Donna is hot.
02:22Okay.
02:24We're selling an image here.
02:26And an available Hot Donna is good for ratings.
02:29Oh.
02:30Well, what the hell.
02:32Eric wouldn't have a problem with it.
02:33All right.
02:33Be honest.
02:34Is Hot Donna a good radio handle?
02:37Hot Donna is a great radio handle.
02:40Um, if I, if I ever met somebody with the name Donna that was looking to get into broadcasting,
02:45I would definitely recommend Hot Donna.
02:47I think it's super fun.
02:49This is Jerry Thunder.
02:52I love the thunder sound effects for this guy.
02:54Oh, gosh.
02:55Where we are enjoying lots of sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
02:58Gosh, I've been working at the wrong station since the last 10 years.
03:01Hot Donna.
03:03You sure are, Jerry Thunder.
03:05Radio people are the coolest.
03:08Well.
03:08That's right.
03:09That's why you want to have sex with us all.
03:12Oh, gosh.
03:13I really do.
03:14So this is quite a scene that we're seeing here.
03:17Do you think there are people out there that actually think that this goes on at the radio station?
03:22Oh, yeah.
03:23Absolutely.
03:24Because, again, it's all just, it's all just perception, right?
03:28There's this theater of the mind to radio, and I've put that into practice over the last 10 years being a broadcaster, and it's your job to paint this super grand picture and make everything kind of seem bigger than it is, because then it's bigger than it is, right?
03:46Hey, I got an idea.
03:48Why don't we feed your skinny boyfriend to the snake?
03:52Okay.
03:54But I've also been on the other side of that, listening and just imagining, oh, my goodness.
03:59Like, you know, your favorite singer just came in, and then, you know, the local college cheer squad is there, too.
04:05And it's just like, it's this party.
04:08You're kind of creating, you know, whatever format you're on, you're creating, you know, said environment for that particular format.
04:16Jerry likes his studio darts just like I do.
04:20I want all the lights off all the time.
04:23Signing off, and I'll see you around the sound.
04:27All right.
04:29Let's get Mr. Big FM stud out here right now.
04:32Yeah.
04:32Yeah, big time.
04:34Eric, why are you being weird?
04:37Donna, I'm going to make a long story short.
04:39I'm here to kick a little DJ ass, so have a seat.
04:41Oh, here we go.
04:42Hey, Donna, and this must be the boyfriend, Eric.
04:47Hi, I'm Jerry Thunder.
04:49What?
04:53You're Jerry Thunder?
04:56Well, that's just great.
05:01Check out Jerry Thunder.
05:02Big voice, tiny body.
05:04Now, this guy's look definitely does not match his voice.
05:08Does that happen often?
05:10All the time.
05:11All the time.
05:12Yeah, it's one of the harder things to do as a broadcaster, especially starting out,
05:17is figuring out your voice.
05:20Like when I began, I have tapes that I'm not going to give to you because I don't want you
05:25putting them in there.
05:26But I was being what I thought I was supposed to be.
05:29And that's the over the top and the low.
05:32And you're just, you know, just big, big personality with a silly voice.
05:37But slowly over time, where you get good is when you become comfortable in being yourself
05:45and using your own voice and kind of, you know, turning the dial up a little bit.
05:50Awesome scene.
05:50I love how kind of the dream montage is kind of the dream that when one becomes a radio host, that's what you kind of imagine your life as almost.
06:02Because when you grow up listening to these other jocks, like I did as a kid, you think they are just larger than life.
06:09They live on, you know, in the biggest house, on the biggest hill, on the biggest side of town.
06:15And then you learn quickly once you do get into the industry that that is just as false as possibly could be.
06:23But they did a great job kind of painting that, you know, larger than life personality imagery, per se.
06:31We got another talk up.
06:32It's from the TV show Community.
06:35The character Neil has his own radio show.
06:37The blanket stackers and pillow packers out there thinking it's going to go down tonight.
06:41But there's a lot of us folks from the scene in between saying, hey, we're all looking to chill out and lay down with someone special.
06:48This is Real Neil with Pipes of Steel.
06:50RE20.
06:51Signing off with the Smooth Sounds.
06:52Industry Standard.
06:53That's what we're rocking with right here.
06:59How'd he do?
06:59I can't fault him.
07:00I mean, he nailed the post.
07:02In effect, absolutely nailed the post.
07:05And I felt like what he was describing was what everybody in that scene was experiencing.
07:12So Neil was his name, you said?
07:13Neil, hats off.
07:15That was great.
07:16Our next clip comes from the TV show Parks and Recreation.
07:20Welcome to Thoughts for Your Thoughts.
07:23I'm Derry Myrbles filling in for David Parker.
07:26Try opening your mouth.
07:27For eight months to study the migration patterns of our nation's squirrels.
07:33We have not seen him since.
07:36My guest today is author Leslie Knope.
07:38The book, Pawnee, The Greatest Town in America.
07:43Jared, what's the difference between like your public radio show and your Top 40 show?
07:50Obviously, format style, music choice, but also talent too.
07:56Public radio is a great forum.
07:58Public and college radio is a great forum for people to get started, for people to kind
08:02of get their foot in the door and start to hone their craft.
08:05But the money is going to be made, you know, working for your major, major, Maynard just
08:11came out of me, your major media companies, your iHearts and your Odysseys and, you know,
08:16town squares, etc., etc. And, you know, quite frankly, the bigger money is going to be in
08:21the bigger markets. Your New Yorks and L.A.s, Miami, Chicago.
08:26I just spent my last three years in Denver. That was the number 18 market.
08:30Previously, four years in Nashville. That was number 40 something.
08:33And it's also format. There doesn't necessarily seem to be a format to this guy's show.
08:39Why he has a producer, I don't necessarily see a need for one.
08:44He could have very much had done that himself, but kudos to him, man. I wish I had one.
08:50Leslie, could one say that a book is nothing more than a painting of words, which are the
08:58most in the tapestry of the greatest film ever sculpted?
09:05One could say that.
09:07Or.
09:08But should one?
09:09This guy's in love with his voice.
09:12Do you run into people like that?
09:14I certainly love to listen to my shows, but with a critical ear to kind of, you know,
09:20pick apart what I can do better next time or like what worked out, what didn't.
09:25Some people.
09:27God, yeah, I'm sure I've come across folks like that that just love to talk just to talk,
09:33but they're not actually going anywhere with the conversation.
09:36Leslie, would you like to take us out?
09:39Okay.
09:40Please enjoy a song from the lesbian Afro-Norwegian funk duo Nefertiti's Fjord.
09:47Wow.
09:50Did not anticipate this music.
09:52Oh, wow.
09:53They are terrible.
09:55Oh, yes.
09:56They're quite awful.
09:57Oh, wow.
09:58That guy, his delivery, his tone, his tenor.
10:01It was just, and obviously that's what the actor was going for there.
10:07But gosh, yeah, that was very much just talking to hear yourself talk with no purpose, with
10:13no rhyme or reason.
10:14Kind of freaking out a little bit.
10:15Just got a text from Allie and AJ.
10:17You remember them from Disney Channel, right?
10:19Let's see what the girls had to say.
10:21Hey, JR.
10:22It's Allie and AJ.
10:23And we're going to challenge you to use the word Americana.
10:26Hey, I'm JR, and I've realized, living in Denver here for over a year now, that between
10:30the beautiful mountains, the breweries, the Broncos, and Shotgun Willys, it doesn't
10:35get any more Americana than right here on the Mile High.
10:38Our next clip comes from the MTV series, Together.
10:41Welcome back to the morning whack attack on 109.7's The Bomb Diggity.
10:45The Bomb Diggity, what's up, you know?
10:47That's fine, Bill.
10:50Hey, we're down here at the Lazy Lounge on 3rd, where tonight, Together, we'll perform
10:53an unplugged set to raise money for the Human Genome Project.
10:56And we've got together bad boy Mickey Park in the studio with us this morning.
10:59How you doing, Mick?
11:00It's Michael, and I'm terrific, thanks.
11:02MTV's doing some kind of satire on you guys.
11:04Did you have a cow when you heard about it?
11:06Yeah, that guy was supposed to be done.
11:07Get the mic on him, guys.
11:09Geez.
11:10Is he on some kind of all Crisco diet?
11:13Hey, Doug Linus is a great guy.
11:15A great guy.
11:18Clearly more of a novelty than a singer, though.
11:20Yeah.
11:20Okay, so they're going with a more shock jock style of interviewing.
11:25What are your thoughts on, like, a shock jock trying to interview a musical guest?
11:30Those hosts were being a little malicious and facetious, I think might be a word to describe
11:35it as well.
11:36Trying to kind of coax some of that stuff out of him, I think that's pretty shady practices,
11:42to be honest.
11:43What are some of the pros and cons of doing this with a musical guest?
11:47You know, it's not worth possibly losing your job over, and it's not worth ruining any
11:53relationships over.
11:55Because in the radio industry, and I'm sure this stands true for a multiple of different
12:01kind of industries and workspaces, it's all about relationships.
12:05It's all about who you know.
12:07It's all about the rapport and, you know, the relationship you have with all these different
12:12people.
12:13And if you're trying to pull off something like that, you're not going to be, you're
12:16not going to be around, you know, very long.
12:18So, New Rules is obviously a smash hit for you.
12:23I personally want to know, like, what jerk inspired you to write that song?
12:28And if you need to go find him and take care of this for you?
12:31Because we will.
12:33I know.
12:33I know.
12:34I know.
12:34You guys look tough.
12:35I got you right now.
12:36You guys look tough.
12:38QT stands for totally.
12:40But backwards.
12:41Far be it for me to say anything.
12:43Oh, no.
12:44He's a great talent.
12:45These guys are trying to get dirt and drama?
12:46He's childish and a professional whiner.
12:49Plus, he wreaks a dad.
12:51This is priceless.
12:52What about Chad?
12:53Obviously, Together, in the theory of the show, is a new band.
12:57They're not very media trained.
12:58My goodness.
12:59What a dancer.
13:00What a dancer.
13:02As for personality, let's just say he doesn't have one.
13:06Oh, no.
13:11You're going to split up your group.
13:13What's a good word?
13:14You passive-aggressive.
13:15Oh, the band is not like that.
13:18Have you ever done an interview with a guest where you think, ooh, they might have just
13:22got in trouble with their label or their band?
13:25No, I don't.
13:26I don't believe so.
13:28A lot of the stuff is very, you know, it's very matter of fact.
13:32It's very, look, they're in town.
13:34They got a show tomorrow night at the, you know, Bridgestone Arena, yada, yada, yada.
13:38Or there's always some sort of agenda, something, you know, to get across.
13:44And it's up to you as the jock to be able to get those points across, but also make it
13:49entertaining at the same time.
13:50You need to interweave in between those things, right?
13:54Um, so no, I've, you know, honestly, I don't think I've ever experienced something like
14:00that.
14:00So you would say that your role is to make the artist feel comfortable, right?
14:04And I would say your other role, from what I've seen, is becoming a Sabrina Carpenter
14:10meme.
14:11Yes, uh, I have, that picture is like several years old.
14:15Uh, the Sabrina Carpenter picture somehow became a meme within her multiverse.
14:21Um, there's just this post going around of how short she really is.
14:24And one of the pictures they took was a picture of me and her from an event in, uh, in, in
14:31Nashville called Girls Day in the Gulch, where a listener on our station got to spend an
14:36afternoon and get lunch with her in, down, down in the Gulch, um, which is like a trendy
14:41area in Music City.
14:43Um, and I took a picture with her.
14:45Mind you, I'm six foot three, right?
14:48Sabrina Carpenter is like just above my waist.
14:52Um, and I'm even crouching a little bit in the picture and it's me holding the camera.
14:56I wasn't camera ready.
14:57I was there to film.
14:58I was supposed to be on the other end, but I got a cool picture with her and she, she
15:02couldn't have been kinder.
15:02That size difference kind of reminds me of the Bob Euchre, Andre the Giant moment from
15:08WrestleMania.
15:09So what's your thoughts on the radio station name, the Bomb Diggity?
15:13Yeah, I don't, I don't know if I would go with that name for your station.
15:17Uh, maybe try to come up with something else.
15:20It's, it's radio being depicted as very kind of hokey and very kind of poking fun at itself,
15:26right?
15:27Which is what a lot of radio is.
15:29But, you know, I, I take what I do very seriously and, and I, I want to talk into a mic in some
15:36capacity the rest of my life.
15:38So it's, it's funny, haha, it's silly, it's tongue in cheek.
15:42Um, but you know, I still, at the same time, this is something that I'll love until the end
15:49of time.
15:49It's what I'm put on this earth to do.
15:51It's what I love.
15:52It's, it's to me, it's, it's the best thing in the world.
15:55Logan, we have to go.
15:56JR, chill, man.
15:58Why you been such a big time rush?
15:59Ah, ah, ah.
16:02Our next clip comes from The Ashley Simpson Show, a reality series on MTV.
16:09And in this scene, Ashley Simpson is going on a press tour, visiting different radio stations.
16:15An hour and a half?
16:16A radio tour is when you talk to, like, different radio stations in, like, two hours.
16:23Hey, what's up?
16:24How are ya?
16:25Your hair color's changed.
16:26Yes, it has.
16:27I love your black hair.
16:29Jessica, I'm sorry, Jessica.
16:31Ashley Simpson.
16:31Oh, no.
16:32Do you mind when people constantly compare you to your older sister?
16:36Yeah, that's not Jessica.
16:38Have you ever made one of these gaffes?
16:40Like, you called somebody the wrong name, or you referred to something that they didn't
16:44make?
16:45Oh, I've certainly messed up before.
16:47I remember specifically in Nashville interviewing Carly Rae Jepsen, who I was a big fan of.
16:54I'm always a sucker for straight down the middle pop music, right?
16:57And I had prepared all these notes, and she was in town to perform at the Ryman, I think
17:02it was, that night.
17:03And my PD says, hey, do you want to, you know, chat with Carly?
17:06She's thinking about popping by.
17:08I'm like, yes, that would be great.
17:10We can capture it.
17:11I can, you know, I can use it.
17:12And I was so excited to meet her.
17:16I was like fanboying on the inside that I was messing up the titles and the names of
17:21her songs.
17:23And I, crap you not, in the middle of our talk, I held up all my notes to her, and I
17:29ripped them up.
17:30And I said, let's start over.
17:33Hey, my name is J.R.
17:36And I literally started over with her, and she couldn't have been kinder.
17:39She was so sweet.
17:40Did you feel pressure?
17:42Are you feeling any pressure?
17:43You get asked a lot of the same questions, and sometimes I try to, you know, be refreshing,
17:48at least for myself and for them.
17:50All these different towns and stations that she's going to visit, those are all individual
17:54markets.
17:55So even if it's the same interview in theory, it's going to be new to that particular audience,
18:02right?
18:03But I understand where she's coming from.
18:05I, as a jock, I've been on both sides of this, where there's an artist coming in.
18:12I don't necessarily know a lot about them, but I know they're on the circuit right now.
18:17Let me go watch and listen to what they've done leading up to I'm about to see them tomorrow
18:23backstage at the, you know, Fillmore.
18:26And that's where I can kind of differentiate and break up what it is that I do.
18:31I remember, for example, meeting Macklemore, and I know he was on that same circuit at the
18:36time.
18:37And I decided to open up the interview kind of in a non-traditional way.
18:45And I just started talking to him about his Halloween costume that he wore with his daughter.
18:51And he just got, you could see his eyes just kind of open and a smile came over him.
18:56And he was so excited to talk about that.
18:58And that was the icebreaker that I needed to conduct the rest of the interview.
19:02So you've told me that one of the times that your nerves really got to you was when you
19:07went to interview Ed Sheeran.
19:09What happened?
19:09I had just moved to Nashville.
19:11So this was my first like real big gig, right?
19:14And I get a, I get a call, my PD at the time, Joe Breezy, incredible guy.
19:20He's like 3 PM tomorrow, Bridgestone Arena.
19:24I need you there.
19:25You're going to interview Ed Sheeran.
19:27This was again, like my first high profile interview.
19:31And I was terrified.
19:33So I, I, I had known that Ed Sheeran loved Legos.
19:37And I remembered one of his old music videos.
19:38There were a bunch of Legos in it.
19:40I don't remember the song.
19:42Um, and I, I was so nervous.
19:44I didn't know what to do with my hands.
19:46So I said, I'm going to buy a Lego kit and we're going to play Legos together.
19:51So I'm not like sitting on my hands or like rubbing them together or doing something weird.
19:56As I brought these Legos, I thought it'd be appropriate to have instructions, but we
20:00probably don't need that.
20:01Right.
20:01So the name of my show is JR's Party Playhouse.
20:04Yeah.
20:05So I thought I could build JR's Party Playhouse with Ed Sheeran.
20:09And I thought that could be a really cool thing.
20:13And I can go back and watch it now and know that it wasn't my best performance as, as a,
20:19you know, interviewer, as a host.
20:20But it was pretty cool.
20:23At least you got a cool souvenir out of it.
20:25Not everybody has their own Lego house built by Ed Sheeran.
20:29So I think we have a pretty good house built.
20:31And I just want to thank you for your time.
20:34And it's been really cool hanging out with you, man.
20:37Sorry, distracted.
20:38Yeah, see?
20:41This is the house.
20:42This is JR's Party Playhouse as built by Ed Sheeran.
20:45Thank you so much.
20:46So it's not just nerves that can affect an interview.
20:49What was it that happened to you when you went to interview English songwriter Mimi Webb?
20:54A lot of this stuff happens and you've got to be so fast about it, right?
20:58So not only am I bringing in my camera, I'm bringing in my audio gear as well.
21:02I'm doing all of this by myself.
21:04I don't have a team with me.
21:05And there are other members of the press from news and other stations waiting outside.
21:11You get 10 minutes set up, interview, break down, get out the door, right?
21:17And we were in this room and it was so hot in this room.
21:20And I had set everything up and I got my angle just right.
21:24And I got the Rodecaster Pro turned on and I got the mics going.
21:27And the whole time I'm sitting there talking to her, there's this big fog ring around my glasses.
21:34And at one point during the interview, I take it off and I try to blow it out, which just made this worse.
21:40Now there's spit on them.
21:42Can I just tell you, my glasses were fogged up the entire time.
21:47I didn't even notice.
21:47Okay, you did it because I thought you were staring directly at it.
21:51And at one point you're talking, I'm like...
21:53Oh my gosh, that was so...
21:59Because I'm so warm and we're on like a leather couch.
22:02Yeah, but oh gosh, that was awesome.
22:05Our next clip comes from an early 2000s Flash animated series called Behind the Music That Sucks.
22:12So you know they're not going to come in with like the most positive statement on what you do.
22:18Whether as our compatriot in Gridlock or helping us out with that long distance dedication,
22:22the radio disc jockey is a peculiar media specimen.
22:25Tonight we pay homage to the radio DJ on Behind the Music That Sucks.
22:29To me, radio is the coolest thing in the world.
22:32It always will be.
22:33I love it.
22:35Good morning everybody, Floyd the Void here, only on KNUTZ.
22:38Floyd the Void.
22:38It's 37 past the 6 o'clock hour.
22:39That's the AM, folks.
22:41It's bleepin' early.
22:42Boom, get up, pop.
22:43No, it is shits early, Sherlock.
22:45Hey, Justin Timberlake's got a hot one out.
22:47That's hot.
22:47Wake up, Springfield, it's time to get your sexy back.
22:50This is Floyd.
22:51Floyd is a consummate radio disc jockey and we salute him.
22:54For Floyd, every time is a good time for a sound effect.
22:57And that's sports.
22:58Thanks for keeping it here.
22:59You're tuned to the nuts.
23:01You know we keep it crazy.
23:02Because we're KNUTZ about music.
23:05Sounds like you're nuts about freaking sound effects, a-hole.
23:07And for Floyd, like all DJs, it doesn't matter what the subject matter.
23:11Because the yuck-yuck style of his radio-friendly voice always comes shining through.
23:15Let's see what's the haps over in the land of oil and Allah.
23:17Uh-oh, we got another deadly car bomb in Fallujah.
23:21Oh my.
23:22Back to the music.
23:23I can't get enough of this one.
23:24It's back to the sexy back.
23:25Again?
23:26I just heard this.
23:27Yeah.
23:28You're gonna hear it again.
23:29Why is the traffic moving?
23:29Why aren't they playing this song again so soon?
23:34So one complaint I hear about Top 40 Radio is the repetitiveness that you're always hearing
23:40the same songs.
23:41When this Flash animation came out, the popular song that was played to death was sexy back.
23:47How does that happen?
23:48Gosh, you know, this is something that I would get a lot.
23:51Like, I'm flattered that people think that I actually pick what music that I play, right?
23:57This is all done ahead of time by a music director, right?
24:00Of course, I have say, little say, right?
24:03But as a former APD, Assistant Program Director, I do have some say in what songs I think are better
24:09for our station, yeah, you know, all the songs are split up into different categories.
24:18You know, you have your powers, your subpowers, your recurrence, your new music, your golds,
24:24which are your classics, and the average person is, you know, listening, let's call it 15 minutes
24:30at a time, right?
24:32Hopefully.
24:33Probably more like eight.
24:35And so, granted, yeah, you are going to hear your Taylor Swift's and your Post Malone's
24:41and your Ariana's, you know, more, because in that time frame that a person is listening,
24:49they want to hear the hits.
24:50You know, we talked about this earlier in this bit, when in doubt, play the hits.
24:56And if you think it can get annoying for you, imagine talking up these songs dozens and
25:03dozens of times every day, seven days a week, and still presenting the song in a new original
25:10way every single time.
25:11Oh, I remember when I came to visit you, and when we were in the station, it felt like all
25:17I was hearing was Post Malone.
25:18The same three or four big hits that he had at the time, just on loop.
25:23Oh, it can be tough.
25:24I remember that even more so with Ariana Grande.
25:28Oh, you're right.
25:28Yeah, her too.
25:29And I think this was right before pandemic, and Thank U, Next had dropped, and her boyfriend
25:39track, and just quite a few others.
25:41The station I was on at the time was called I-1067, and I almost went in and told my boss,
25:46why don't we just change our name to Ari-1067?
25:49Because that's all it seems that we play.
25:52It's just, it's crazy.
25:53But, you know, whatever's reporting on the charts as a hit, you gotta do your best, you
25:58know, to give the people what they want.
26:01We thank you, Floyd, for you and your comrades have an infectious way of telling us the time.
26:0656 and a half minutes till the hour.
26:07That comes before nine.
26:09Hey, you're on your way to that.
26:09I'm just glad he didn't do the triple time check.
26:11Let's just sit back and enjoy this one.
26:13It's 1-20, 40 minutes till two o'clock.
26:16That's 20 after the hour.
26:21Your listening skills always makes a caller's song request just so beautifully one-sided.
26:25Lucky caller, you got the void on the nuts.
26:27What's on your mind?
26:27Thanks, Floyd.
26:29I'm Janet.
26:30I want to request a song for my boyfriend.
26:33Sounds like love, Julie.
26:34Oh, my name is Janet, and he just broke up with me.
26:38Oh, no.
26:38I think we got a domestic disturbance, folks.
26:41No, nothing like that.
26:43He just thinks we've grown apart.
26:45Could you play the way we were?
26:47Nikki, listen to the great void on this one.
26:49You need to remind this guy about your pleasure dough.
26:51Oh, come on.
26:52No, I don't.
26:53And my name is Janet.
26:54No, it's like we lost Megan, but not a request.
26:57Lost Megan?
26:58The penis falling like trees around here with a little sexy bag.
27:01And thanks for the request to us.
27:02The way we were.
27:03You were supposed to play the way we were.
27:06That's right, Floyd.
27:07Your incessant need to please A&R reps and get kickbacks makes hearing the same answer six times an hour so much more than a pleasure.
27:14They're hitting you hard.
27:15They got the Hawaiian shirts.
27:17Is the Hawaiian shirts still a thing?
27:18The Hawaiian shirt.
27:21Radio jock or not, that's that dude's style.
27:24You can tell that's just always kind of been his go-to, especially with his size.
27:29And the talk-in to the Justin Timberlake record, which seems to be the joke they keep running into the ground here.
27:36No more sexy bag.
27:38No more sexy bag.
27:42Uh-oh, gang.
27:43Looks like we got a surprise.
27:44Who had that crack in?
27:45In-studio guest here at KNUTZ.
27:47I'm gonna hack you up and eat you for breakfast.
27:50Speaking of breakfast, folks, go ahead and get yourself one of them breakfast burgers at Carl's Jr.
27:54Oh, Floyd, we almost forgot that your thinly-veiled conversational attempts to plug advertising makes you a king in a world of peasants.
28:04You go, Mr. Radio.
28:06That reminds me, listeners, if you want to get a leg up on all the interest you're paying on your home loan, jump on the web and go to Lendertown.com.
28:13Holy smokes, man.
28:15That was just aggressive.
28:17That was a lot.
28:21I'm kind of at a loss for words here.
28:23Make sure to like, follow, and subscribe, all three, if you're feeling up to it.
28:28Again, my name is JR.
28:29Thank you so much for watching.
28:30And remember, it's cool to be you.
28:32Peace.
