14:45So the other day, we were following the path
14:46of the underwater cavern.
14:48So we hike up to this ridge.
14:50We're looking for any kind of clues at all.
14:52We get up on top of the mountain there.
14:54There's this big rock that we're like, holy ,, man.
14:58That looks man-made.
15:01After discovering a blocked underwater tunnel,
15:04which they believe is leading to the Aztec treasure
15:07chamber.
15:07We just have to find another way to drop
15:09into that tunnel system.
15:10Chad and Josh are tracing the path of the tunnel
15:13from above, searching for another opening.
15:16If people were living in this cave system
15:18and traveling in and out of it, there
15:20has to be naturally occurring ventilation.
15:23There must be other entrances to the surface,
15:25so we got to go find it.
15:27A mile and a half from the ranch,
15:29they have uncovered an unusual marker pointing
15:32to a turtle-shaped rock formation.
15:34This is great news.
15:35I mean, those are probably Aztec stone markers.

15:39Yeah, it may be a site that's been used for hundreds,
15:41if not thousands of years.
15:43Throughout ancient North America,
15:46turtles were regarded as a symbol of protection.
15:49And to the Aztecs, turtles were a representation
15:53of caves and the underworld.
15:55According to written records, indigenous tribes use turtles
15:59to mark buried treasure with the head directing seekers
16:03toward the valuables, while a removed head indicates the bounty
16:08has been recovered.
16:10So we go over there, and the turtle, right here, has its head on it.
16:14And they say, if the head is still on there, the treasure is still there.
16:18Whenever they take the treasure out, they knock the head off to know that the treasure's gone.
16:22And the turtle points towards either the next marker or the treasure.
16:29So they carved that out of sandstone, yeah.

16:32And they would take, like, a rock that kind of looked like the shape they wanted to,
16:35and they could just modify it a bit.
16:38I mean, we're not talking like they were carving the Statue of David.
16:41I mean, they would just make it look so that they would know when they come back,

16:49So the treasure is still here at the ranch.

16:59hoping it will lead them to the opening of the treasure chamber

20:34Tezcatlipoca whose presence was seen as a destructive force when used as a marker it was a sign of a death trap
20:46Hidden treasure is hidden treasure for a reason we really don't know what to expect
20:50So you've got to be super super careful. There's a lot of treasure hunters that don't come back. I know treasure hunters that have died
20:57We don't know what's ahead of us in this unknown cave if there's a great treasure down there people will try and protect that

21:09So I got an endoscope so we can check it out. We don't know how deep this goes or what even is in there. I mean it could be a

32:06But what we're seeing here isn't their normal system of writing
