Kupwara (Jammu & Kashmir), July 09, 2025 (ANI): In a commendable humanitarian initiative, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society District Kupwara, organized a blood donation camp at Langate, Handwara in Kupwara district of North Kashmir. The event aimed to strengthen local healthcare capabilities and encourage community participation in life-saving efforts. The camp saw overwhelming enthusiasm, with more than 50 units of blood voluntarily donated by army personnel and local civilians. This significant contribution is expected to greatly aid in meeting medical emergencies and saving countless lives in the region. Representatives of the Indian Red Cross Society expressed heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of all volunteers, underlining the vital role of regular blood donation in bolstering the health infrastructure of Kupwara district and beyond.
