We start the video with an evening update from Amberlynn. In the previous video we found out she weighed in at her highest weight yet, hitting 500lbs. The next day we’re in the kitchen with Eric and Rickie as they do some meal prepping. Eric bakes some low carb bread for the first time while Rickie cuts up the vegetables for the week. When the bread is almost done baking, Eric is so proud of his loaf that he decides to change his last name from Cooke to Baker. Next, he’s making turkey burgers from scratch. While the first batch of burgers are cooking, they taste test the bread. For dinner, they’re making shrimp, cabbage, and BBQ salmon then eating it while watching The Golden Girls.

00:00Actually weighed in today at my highest weight that I've ever weighed in at and it was 498.6
00:07So I am 1.4 pounds away from 500 um so I almost feel like technically I'm 500 pounds um
00:16So in this very moment I just want to cry because I messed up
00:36Currently it's 9pm and I'm already over my calories by 800 so I'm at about like 3,000 calories
00:48I mean according to the TDE you know it's okay for me to eat that many calories I'll still lose weight but
00:54I shouldn't have done it I felt like I was being possessed like that's the best way to describe it
01:01Is you feel like you're not in control of your body? I had Mexican food and I just feel like crap about it
01:07So my goal for tonight is to not eat anything for the rest of the night
01:11I just leave my calories at the 3,000 that they're at and if I have to you know chew gum chug a bunch of water
01:17So I'll keep you guys updated. I know a lot of people are gonna get upset me and be upset with me and be like Amberlynn
01:21This is only your first day. I know it makes me feel like crap
01:23It almost makes me feel like tomorrow should be like a reset like day one all over again
01:27But I feel like you know, I can't be perfect every day

01:38I just got done chugging a water and doing some more walking. I have another water to chug

01:46It was probably about 40 minutes ago where I was like I want everything like I wanted to binge so bad like that
01:55Uncontrollable feeling was just all over me and it was so hard to say no

02:02She was like chug water. She wants some gum
02:04So I did and then I got up walking and I was able to reach my 8,000 steps
02:08It is past midnight. So I was able to do that. I'm super happy about that
02:11So i'm just gonna edit this vlog and this is day one
02:15I feel like today I succeeded in a way. I didn't binge earlier
02:19I just overate like really bad. Yeah, I went over calories, but I said no to binging tonight
02:24The feeling went away as I was walking I was like, I'm so proud of myself

02:35Hello guys, so we are doing meal prep right now. I'm going to do the recipe for
02:41For uh
02:46Yeah low carb bread
02:50And i'm right now i'm trying to separate the yolk from the eggs, which i have to do this do this six times

03:05You can get a water bottle and suck the yolk out of it

03:51So now what I need to do is add two eggs to this and then i'm going to start mixing the almond flour
03:56And i'm going to start making the base for the bread and i have to add i think like cream of tartar
04:02I have to watch the video again because i'm a little fuzzy cream of tartar and stuff like that to the egg whites and make like this
04:07Whip type of thing and then we're going to be using these um and the parchment paper that we bought to add to
04:13These bread pans to make two loaves of bread
04:20So i'm measuring out one third cup of oil so i just kind of measuring out one third cup of avocado oil as my choice
04:27It says you can use any type to add to those
04:32So i'm going to whisk it all together with a fork
04:44Add two cups of almond flour
04:48After you got it all whisked up thoroughly
04:56So i'm going to add two cups of almond flour now
05:02We're doing two meal preps at once
05:05I'm cutting up cabbage they're where we can have it for the rest of the week
05:10So far i've cut up onions and i've also grated up cauliflower for cauliflower rice
05:16Right now i'm just trying to measure up a cup i've already measured up one cup and added it
05:26How do you best bet would be the extra you just did the cut down there
05:31And there is the second cup okay so i got that baking powder so i'm going to add one tablespoon of baking powder
05:38Set that aside
05:39So it calls for a pinch of salt
05:45There we go got a pinch of salt in there now i'm going to go back to mixing this all up
05:50And make sure to get all the almond flour in there
05:58So it calls for one fourth teaspoon which is the what this is of cream of tartar
06:08This right here's the cabbage it's one head that's a 13 cup bowl it's a lot of cabbage
06:13Whip topping to this
06:21Fold it over
06:22I don't know what i'll finally do
06:25Maybe you don't for 40 minutes
06:30Okay now we're going to add it in there
06:31This is what it turns out okay and this is what it looks like once it's in the pan
06:49So i'm getting ready to put this in there and the stove is already set to 375 yeah okay so i'm about to pop this in the oven
06:59And let it bake at 375 for cook time 40 minutes
07:13And then it should be done i'll show you guys the progress as it goes and then i'll show you guys the final result of once it's done
07:20But i think ricky has no prepped
07:22We're going to use some of the cabbage tonight but that's uh some of the cabbage done
07:29He has like a gallon of water in here that's the little fat yogurt
07:32So there's some of the cabbage he has the cauliflower rice already blended up there
07:36And then he has chopped up onions that's um the one with the pepperoni and sausage and stuff like that
07:41He takes that to work well
07:42He gets a couple pieces of that out in the morning here is you didn't put that lid back on that guacamole
07:47And then there's the guacamole we're going to add to the salad whenever we do uh the flank steak salad or steak
07:52Whenever we do the steak avocado salad because we forgot to pick up something so i'm just going to use the guacamole
07:57We already have made and if this bread turns out well i'll make another one another loaf of bread so
08:02But i'll see you guys in a bit this is what the bread looks like so far it still has another
08:0613 minutes on it to cook or i mean to bake but it's turning out pretty good looking pretty proud
08:13That looks good and it smells amazing you can smoke throughout the whole house i can't wait to taste it see how it tastes

08:33Okay, so i'm getting ready to season the turkey meat
08:38and add some salt to it
08:40The salt just does not come out
08:50Does not come out very much at a time
08:55But um adding some salt to it i'm gonna get some pepper and other different seasonings and add it to that
09:00So i added some a little bit of salt to that now i'm gonna add some pepper
09:09I'm gonna add some ground cumin
09:16I'm gonna add some onion powder
09:18And then i'm gonna add some garlic salt
09:24I'm thinking about actually adding some chopped onions since we already have some in here to it
09:31I'm gonna add a little bit of onions to this
09:34Oh not just a little bit i'm gonna add a decent amount
09:37I'm gonna be making burgers with this just to let you guys know
09:39So i'd like some onions on my burgers i don't know about you guys but i do
09:53What's an aioli what's the difference between mayonnaise and aioli i don't know

10:49Especially like this so i hope it's hopefully it tastes good ricky said it looked really good and he said it smelled really good

12:39But the three pound pack of turkey meat that we bought i'm using the other one pound to do stuffed peppers with
12:50This last burger is gonna be like ginormous maybe i can split it up into two or just make one big giant patty
12:55This one's name is patty my gentle giant clock the reference i don't think anyone's gonna get that reference
13:01So to give you guys an update on the burgers that are cooking burgers oh like i said that funny that are cooking right now
13:16This is what they look like they look pretty funky and gross looking
13:20Because i haven't started browning yet on top i probably need to let it cook just a little bit longer and then i'm gonna flip them
13:28Put the lid back on there and let them cook and i'll flip them in a couple minutes okay sorry but this bread's gonna be making another appearance in part two of the vlog
13:35I just got done popping it out of the pan after i'm letting it cool so i'm about to cut it and then see what it looks like
13:41And then give it a taste and let you guys know

14:23Here's my burgers well here's four of them the first four that i started cooking the other ones are in the pan right now
14:32But these are the other four that i've already cooked here they are gonna probably wait and let them cool down
14:37And then i'm gonna get the tub where i'm gonna put them in the fridge
14:40So whenever we get hungry and we want a burger throughout the day or for dinner just grab one and just go on eat on the go
14:46Or just eat it real quick and then leave just kind of making the last patty that went on top
14:50I named her patty the gentle giant well actually i was calling her the monster patty or jumbo patty
14:55I don't know if you guys know what i'm talking about but spongebob the monster patty
15:02But since i make him bigger than the others i'm calling it monster patty the thing is freaking huge
15:07I forgot to spray that lemon foil
15:13First one problem but i'm gonna let these cool down so these side let them cool down and this
15:18Oh god excuse me i'll let these cool down and then i'm going to set them aside don't put that in there yet
15:24I'm not um i'm gonna let these cool down and then i'm gonna put them in the fridge in the tub where that we bought today
15:31So we can have them later on this week whenever we get hungry
15:33Then you want to take a little
15:36Why so the grease can pop all over the place
15:40Now we are cooking dinner
15:42We are cooking dinner we have the cabbage over there boiling and then he is cooking the shrimp right now
15:48I actually got like two minutes
15:50I mean we got about two minutes left and it's out there on the grill being cooked right now
15:54But we are going to be having after like it's done boiling are you gonna add it to the shrimp and like saute it all together and season it
15:59I'm just gonna like
16:00Well, that's what i was asking you earlier
16:02Oh, yeah, I mean like anywhere
16:04But i'm probably gonna like strain the cabbage and the strain the shrimp and put it all back in the pot with butter and garlic
16:09Because that is water and salt and pepper
16:13Okay, so we are going to get done boiling that and then let this cook and then we're gonna add it back to the pan
16:18After we let it cook and strain everything and then we are going to add it all back together and then start seasoning
16:23It with like lightly salted and pepper it and cook that together and let it saute and then we're gonna have it with uh salmon tonight
16:29So we're gonna have sauteed cabbage and shrimp with salmon
16:33I'm pretty happy about it because that sounds really good and I love seafood
16:37So
16:38Oh, yeah, and cheese is salmon. Oh, yeah, I forgot. That's how they
16:42I forgot whoops and then we're probably gonna put some cheese in the salmon
16:45So I need to go take a bento before we start eating so we just got on
16:49Finishing blowing the cabbage and then now we are straining it and he's adding it back to the pot and then once the shrimp is done cooking
16:58Which is almost done we are going to strain it all the water
17:03But then we're gonna strain that water and then we're gonna add the cabbage to it and then start letting it saute and cook together
17:16Oh and the shrimp or the salmon is already done
17:19Oh
17:22And that cheese is starting to melt. Oh, that looks so good
17:26It's garlic
17:29This is gonna be so good. Oh my god, you guys need to try this
17:33But once it's all done, I'll let you guys see what the finished result is
17:41Okay, so dinner is done
17:44There is the sauteed cabbage with shrimp and then there is the salmon that was grilled and has cheese on top of it
17:51That's Ricky's plate and how it turned out
17:53So we're about to dig into this and just sit back and watch some golden girls and
