00:00he's probably the first canadian i ever knew um and you know kind of having that be the first

00:09canadian that you ever knew gave me uh you know that was my first impression of being canadian

00:16and um and you know it's a little off uh but a lot of fun you know what i mean and uh

00:23yeah just you know uh but uh you know i know guys have been telling stories so i guess i want to get

00:33to mine um uh you remember this i used to call into the show way back um i used to call into the

00:44show like this is probably back in the like the late 90s 2000 actually i took lb's place one time

00:50when he had some of the when he had his vacation um yes but uh i called in the show one time and

00:58you guys were promoting a boxing match in worcester in the palladium and it was for the worcester boys

01:05and girls clubs and you said you wanted me to fight lb correct yes and uh and uh you know lb's

01:11on the hey kid you know this is going to be great it's for the kids and i'm like assuming that this

01:17is going to be fake and uh and so i'm like okay yeah that sounds fun you know like uh so i go out

01:26you know the night of the fight comes and uh you know i've never had any formal training and here i

01:32am fighting lb you know and uh but i thought it was for the kids so it was going to be fake um

01:40well i had a big old italian meal you know before the dinner before the fight uh in charlestown and i got

01:46on the mass spike i was in my coat and tie with a duffel bag show up at the palladium and you know

01:53music is blaring i'm walking down towards the ring they're taking me up to where the dressing room is

01:58and i start seeing people in the ring like bleeding uh sweating uh cut men in the cut men in the corner

02:07and i'm like the light bulb went off and i was like oh my gosh this is real and i'm fighting lb

02:19and uh so then so then they get up in the dressing room you couldn't back out of it at that point is

02:24what you're saying couldn't back out of it at that point yeah i didn't ask enough questions going into

02:29it um i get up to the get up to the locker room or wherever we're dressing and lb is just like as

02:35light as a feather just like hey kid go have some fun tonight you know oh yeah i'm like lb this is a

02:43real fight he goes yeah it's gonna be great to go in there and uh he said i hit him with a haymaker i don't

02:52know but for the rest for the rest of the time i was uh just running around the ring while lb was chasing me
