00:17for the Toffees.
00:19His previous deal expired in June but both Keane and the club were keen to continue the

00:25I love Everton and have been massively proud to play for this club since the day I joined,
00:31Keane told Everton's website.
00:34The manager wants a competitive squad and I still feel I have a lot to give.
00:40While Keane has found consistent game time hard to come by in recent seasons, he played the
00:44final three matches of last season and all wins and scored in the 3-1 victory over Fulham.
00:51He served mainly as cover for James Tarkovsky, Jared Branthwaite and Jake O'Brien but remains
00:57valued for his experience and professionalism.
01:01The former Manchester United Academy graduate made his name at Burnley where he helped the

01:29The transfer window, the business might go late into the window and if Everton has a good
01:39start then that might just give them an extra little push, a little boost in terms of attracting
01:46players later on in the window.
01:48However, Everton will say goodbye to several senior figures including Dominic Calvert-Lewin,
01:54Delida Courre, Ashley Young, Asmir Begeric and Jao Virginia.
01:59With David Moyes back at the helm and preparing for his first full pre-season since returning
02:04to the club, experience and leadership are clearly valued.
