00:00So, Dr. Israel's defense minister has announced plans to move Gaza's population to a camp in the southern city of Rafa.
00:10Is this a forcible transfer of an occupied territory's civilian population, which is against international humanitarian law?
00:21Basically, whatever Israel is doing in Gaza's trip, based on humanitarian law, and by the Genève Convention, 4th Genève Convention, Article 78,
00:34not permanent, but temporary transfer of population for the sake of protecting or attacking militants and militias within occupied territories is eligible,
00:49and therefore it's lawful, it really depends on how we do it and what the purpose is.
00:55And the purpose here is to protect these civilians from being hit by the fight against Hamas
01:01and actually reduce the number of the civilians involved and being hurt by casualties caused by the attacks of Hamas against Israel and retaliation by Israel.
