00:00Yeah, I mean, one difference between President Trump now and President Trump in his first term
00:05is he seems to have established even closer ties with leaders in the Middle East, in particular
00:11in the Gulf. And he seems to be listening to them. You know, when we look at what he did with
00:17regards to Syria, for example, bringing Syria in from the cold and really trying to normalize at
00:24a very rapid pace the ties between Washington and Damascus. That's just one example.
00:29Does it give you hope that President Trump is engaged with and apparently listening to
00:35other people in the region, apart from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu?
00:39Well, we are hopeful, of course, from the Arabic pressure on the United States administration
00:47demanding for resolving the Palestinian cause. And he is listening to the Arab world. But until now,
00:53he did not listen to the Palestinian people. Until today, no Palestinian officials have been in the
01:00White House. The president of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, was not invited to the White House. But Netanyahu
01:05was invited there three times. And this does not reflect that there is some sort of clear and
01:13impartial discussion of the issue.
