A visit to one of Glasgow's oldest pubs.
Transcript
00:00We're in Jesse on the Gallaghy. This is a pub which is from the eastern of Glasgow.
00:06We're about here doing well. It's one of my favourite spots to come to before a gig.
00:10The Gallaghy is one of my best tenants in Glasgow.
00:14It's always good when I get my team on here. We've got karaoke on in here regularly.
00:19On a Saturday or a Saturday, there's footballer up there on the Salty Park.
00:22It's a busy spot for football pinners to come in.
00:25It's an old classic Glasgow pub. If you want to find a pub that's still got a telly,
00:30you can just sit and get lost in an afternoon or evening or early morning
00:36and meet some friendly East End folk. This is probably one of the best places to come to.
00:41We've obviously saw a lot of change during that part of the Gallaghy and the barren and whatnot,
00:46but this is still a pub that's roots.
00:49It's a community pub where people come in and eat for a pint, a half.
00:54You can sit and it's a great spot and you can turn again to hang.
00:58There's plenty of selections where there are bears, spirits and everything else.
01:03So if you're up to Barras having a walk about the Gallaghy,
01:07I'd certainly recommend you come in here to go on Jesse, which is in, I think,
01:11when the Gallaghy is as old as 10 o'clock. So I'd certainly come in here and have a wee look around.
01:16Get out and come and get to your place.
01:20All right.
01:21All right.
