00:00Hello everyone, welcome to M&MV Cubes, welcome to H1Box, welcome to World in a Cyclone, if you are on that channel.
00:07Today I will be showing you how to do a little bit of animation, how to add animations to an animation.
00:14Just in case you want to do that, right click and go delete.
00:18Now you can download the manuals and you can practice what I am showing you if you want to do that.
00:22I have created a switch, I have called it the big red switch, but really it looks more like a lipstick than anything else.
00:31So yeah, you can call it the big red lipstick if you want to.
00:34So go here, import, go to glyph, if you download it go to download it in here.
00:41I have created some animations for it, I have created up and down, in and out, I have created off and on.
00:48So I want to load this one, this is the up and down, so press that, bring it in.
00:53Ok, this is my switch, if I play it, it goes up and down like this.
00:58That's just in case you want the light to flash on and off, just in case you want to apply the lipstick.
01:04Or maybe, maybe put the lipstick back like that, put it on, or turn the lipstick off.
01:11It's up to you however you want to do it, it's whatever you want to use it for.
01:15Now in my world, it's going to be used for all different things.
01:18Of course it looks slightly different, but it's exactly the same thing.

01:25Grab this, drag it, drag it up.
01:27Ok, now we want to create some animations for this.
01:30So we know the timeline is 40, go here, change this to 40.
01:34That's the first thing, click that, say ok.
01:37Go over here, now I'll be showing you Doshi, I'll be showing you Action Editor, which is inside that.
01:44And I'll be showing you non-linear, press this one.
01:47Go here, go to Action Editor, when you're here, this is where you add new actions to your animation that you've already got.
01:57Ok, now of course, at the moment, if you look here, you see the animation, this is what we got.
02:03Ok, before we create an animation, we can go here, we can go onto non-linear.
02:10Now, this is the animation that we're using, you can see the box is not ticked.
02:15Of course, that's not the animation to open it.

02:21Watch, see how it's playing.
02:23If you untick it, now we don't play.
02:26Ok, just leave it like that, go back to here.

03:28As soon as you press it, that's going to happen.
03:30So, it's up to you.
03:32It's like a remote control switch.

04:28You've got three options.
04:30Okay, so we've got a couple of actions in here.

04:35And the up and down position.
04:36So I think, ok, perfect.
04:37In here.
04:38You've got three animations.
04:39So let's turn all these off.
04:40And this animation here.
04:42We turn that one on.
04:43Have a look and see what it is.
04:45That's the button in.
04:46Now if you want to.
04:47You can double F click that.
04:49And you can go.
04:50In.
04:51And if you want to name this part.
04:54Over here.
04:55You just right click on it.
04:56Go to rename.
04:57And you can say.
04:58In.
04:59Press enter.
05:00Now we know that this is the in button.
05:03So turn that.
05:04Press this one.
05:05And does it move.

05:07So what we do.

06:07We don't have to do nothing else, just go here, export, export it to Glyph, go to download, go to your file, click it and delete it.
06:20Copyright it to yourself if you want to, in my case this is going to be Emma Bcube, just like that.
06:34It's copyrighted to Emma Bcube, there's no restrictions on it, it is copyrighted but you can do with it whatever you want.
06:42Export it, go back to your downloads, reopen the animation and now you'll notice the button is standing still.
06:51Now you can have any button you want, this is the actual animation that I've applied to it.
06:58So where it's in, you can change the animation at any point, because if you leave the button pushed in, the light's on.
07:05Go here, the light's on, the door's open, the crocodile's got loose, however you want to do it.
07:12So this is animation one, don't do nothing. Animation two, this is our bouncing animation.
07:18And animation three is where it's just out. Now that would be the idle animation, where it's out.
07:25So when you enter the room, the light is off. So you have to press the button.
07:30So you go from three to one, press the button and then when you're inside the room, suddenly the ghost starts to come.
07:39The light starts flashing on and off. And now it's time to start running.
07:47Okay, anyway, that's my very short animation about my video.
07:51So I'm just going to show you this. As you can see, look, you see here, where you've got out.
07:56If this is your preferred animation, if this is the one you want, now these ones here, I'll explain that in a moment.
08:04See these here? You've got to lock them in position. When you lock them, you just put these where they are.
08:10That's what it does. You don't have to lock it, but you can if you want to.

08:27Put the star on it, and that's going to be your preferred animation.

12:02As I said, in this new Blender, the new version 4.4.3, yeah, when you kind of do like your
12:12animation sheets and things like that, for me personally, as you can see, it's not actually
12:18keeping the actual recommended one, it's keeping them, see here, there's only one there, I think,
12:26and as I see, there's one here, okay, which action animation don't want, don't want this
12:31animation, no, I don't want that animation, don't want this animation, this animation is
12:36the one that's up in the air, which is that animation, we can pick this animation, we can
12:42play it, we have to put the shield on it, and then obviously, we can't play, because we
12:46haven't ticked it inside of the box, I want to show you that, go back into the linear, if
12:53you untick the star, watch, you see, you see now it plays, if you go back to here, now go
13:02to the play, it'll work, it's just a way of turning it on and off, that's all it is, I want
13:07this one, and yeah, okay, so it doesn't really matter which one I want, I want to go back
13:13here, and I'm going to select it, it doesn't matter really if you don't do it, because either
13:17way, when I put it into the game world, it's going to work, go here, delete this, say yeah,
13:22please select the file, what are you talking about Blender, see what it's doing, it's not actually
13:33export it look, go back to here, select all of that, export again, let's just call this
13:43number one, because it looks like Blender's decided to kind of half delete my things, go
13:48back to here, export, I'm just going to call this number one, just so Blender don't get confused,
13:57press that, as I said, the animations working look, the animations are there, here's the
14:03animations, so they are working, go here, this is number one, it's not really number one,
14:07that's number one, so when it starts, it'll start like that, this is number two, and this
14:14is number three, anyway, I really hope that this little corner video helped you out with
14:18a couple of things in Blender, so this is the model, download if you want to, it's got three
14:23animations on it, as I said, in the game world, you will have the choice to pick and choose
14:28which animation you want, or you can combine all three, and have them all working together,
14:34it's up to you, how you want to do it, as I said, in the new version 4.4.3, I have a lot
14:40of problems with this version, I don't, now, I don't get problems with the version 4.4.1,
14:454.4.1 is great, the best one I've found so far, is version 3.6.4, you don't get no problem
