00:00Look who is already here by my side, our partner Darly Schaefer, president of Coopran,
00:11and he will tell us a little about the experience recently lived by Coopran
00:16and also by other cooperatives in Espírito Santo. The group went on a mission, where to? To Paraná,
00:23where cooperatives are very strong. You went there to see it, right Darly? Welcome to Negócio Rural
00:29once again. Tell us what cool things you saw there. Man, we saw some cool stuff there, like,
00:37of you wanting to do everything here, right? But, like, everything there is big, right? Everything is very innovative, right?
00:47They've also been cooperativism there for 60 years, cooperatives, right? There's Copacol, Copavel and
00:53against Iguaçu, right? So, we took it from Espírito Santo, through the OCB, right? Through Carlão,
01:01from Dr. Pedro. We took 36 people linked to cooperativism here in Espírito Santo, right?
01:11Rural cooperatism, rural Espírito Santo, right? And what we saw there was a lot of innovation in technology, right?
01:20A lot of production, right? Exportation, something we have here in Espírito Santo, the ports here, right?
01:28The port here is 50, 60 kilometers away from the countryside, right?
01:33Very close, right?
01:34They travel by train there, right? It takes five days to get to the port, right?
01:40So, we have a lot of good things that we, like, don't copy, right? We see what worked there, learn and bring it here and implement it in our cooperatives, right?
01:52Let's take Copran as an example. Copran does some really cool work with fish farming.
01:56You visited a large fish slaughterhouse there, right? In Paraná.
02:03Is there anything you saw there that you can take and implement here in this new processing unit?
02:10Are you seeing images of what Copran is looking like?
02:15Yes, it is possible. It's technology. We got contacts, right?
02:19To go back there later, right? In the details and do what they did there, in a smaller quantity, but do it.
02:27You can see that they slaughter 150 thousand heads of fish there per day.
02:33We here want to slaughter a maximum of 20 thousand per day, right?
02:37Yes, but that's our reality here, right?
02:39But like, the technologies they use there, the integration model, right?
02:43From fish farming, poultry farming, right?
02:46Pig farming, everything based on integration, where the cooperative supplies the fry, the piglets, right?
02:55The chicks, in this case.
02:57The producer is only supposed to do the rearing, right?
03:01Take care, right?
03:02Take care, exactly.
03:03The producer just creates.
03:05The producer does not invest his capital.
03:07The cooperative that invests everything and also guarantees the purchase back, right?
03:11So, this is interconnected, right?
03:14Integration between the cooperative and the producer.
03:18And will we see this here, here in Espírito Santo?
03:20Come on, we're already copying some models there slowly, you understand?
03:24The cooperative members are arriving, we are also taking on those who do not have many conditions
03:29and you're already doing this integration program, right?
