00:17Zone 1 Chief Senior Fire Superintendent Ahmad Aminuddin Abd Rahim said the victims were
00:23located inside their Proton Iswara during the recovery operation.
00:28Speaking to Astro Awani at the scene, he said firefighters successfully retrieved four bodies
00:34and brought them to the riverbank.
00:36However, the remaining two, believed to be the parents, were still inside the vehicle
00:41as of Monday morning.
00:43Ahmad Aminuddin said firefighters encountered significant challenges during the extraction
00:48and had to cut through the car's roof to access the victims.
00:53The victims have been identified as Muhammad Azim Ezat Ishak, age 32, his wife Nurul Hidayah
01:00Khalija Razman Effendi, 31, and their four children aged between six months and nine years.
01:06The family was last seen after spending the night at a relative's home in Taman Amanjitra.
01:11They never returned to their residence in Jirlun, prompting concerned relatives to lodge a police
01:16report.
01:18Kubang Pasu District Police Chief Superintendent Mohammad Radzi Abdul Rahim confirmed that
01:23a report had been filed regarding the family's disappearance.
01:27Authorities are continuing efforts to recover the remaining bodies and investigate the cause
01:32of the incident.
