00:07You see, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says she was denied service over leggings.

00:48Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms called out Capitol Grill after she said she was turned away from the restaurant for wearing leggings.
00:57I was just turned away at Capitol Grill at Premier Mall because I had on leggings, she tweeted Friday.
01:12When someone pointed out that the staffers had a dress code, Bottoms said it was odd that the restaurant would not allow what she called mall attire when they are located at the mall.
01:27Asked if I could sit in the bar area and was told no, rules are rules.
01:33Just wondered if the woman who came in immediately after me, who I did not see come back out, was also denied service, she wrote.
01:43On the restaurant website, it says that for the comfort of all guests and to better deliver on our promise of a refined atmosphere, proper dress is required.
01:59Clothing such as gem attire, tank tops, sweatpants, hats, and items with offensive language is not allowed, according to the website.
02:11However, social media users quickly commented that the rules are not always followed and post pictures of mostly white patrons dining at Captain Grill while wearing one of the prohibited clothing items.
02:29Hmm. Black Democrat mayor of Atlanta, my friend, teacher last bottom was refused service at Capitol Grill, but white folks in gym clothes, t-shirts are totally fine at Capitol Grill.
02:44Actor, actor, actor, actor, actor Daniel Newman, tweet, actor who is white, went on to say that he has died at the restaurant many times while wearing a tank top, t-shirt, and gym shorts.
03:01Never had, uh, never had a problem getting a seat.
03:04I guess my clothes look whiter, he said.
03:09Bottom, who is black, uh, entered office in 2018, but announced in 2021 that she will not seek re-election.
03:17She has since joined CNN as a political commentator.
03:23Capitol Grill has not publicly commented and did not respond to a request for comment on, on, on, on, Saturday.

03:51all that in the opposite and he had no problem there who they better get them a publicist

04:34would have did all that to the the screen but i guess the people wanted they want they wanted they
04:40wanted people to know what was really going on and people still going still getting exterminated
04:47and stuff like that and this was a scene right there i don't know what the restaurant gonna do
04:53maybe they need to do a public apology about it uh because oh boy just exposed them saying what
05:01they truly uh what he don't have experience and he goes with the stuff that's prohibited closed
05:08items and they never told him nothing so i don't know uh i'll let y'all be the judge uh please comment
