00:00You and I talked about the Dodgers here, right?
00:02Glasnow, probably back this week.
00:04Snell, probably after the All-Star break here.
00:07I guess it's a two-part question.
00:09A, what are you expecting from them?
00:11How much do you trust them fantasy-wise?
00:14And B, what the hell are the Dodgers going to do with all their pitches
00:16once they return here?
00:17They're going to have six, seven guys.
00:18They're going to do a six-man rotation.
00:20Is Dustin May going to come out?
00:21What's going to be Clayton Kershaw?
00:23What's going to happen, Greg?
00:26You know, I think with the Dodgers,
00:28it's probably going to be a situation where it's going to figure itself out
00:32because there's going to be injuries there.
00:34I can't trust Blake Snell or Tyler Glasnow.
00:38So Glasnow, I think his high on his career, I want to say,
00:43is around 135 innings, and that was last year.
00:47But prior to that, he was never really able to stay on the mound.
00:51He was always a guy who battled injuries.
00:55You know, I don't want to put that on him,
00:56but I wouldn't really be surprised if he can't come back
01:00and be, I don't know, maybe a three- to four-inning guy,
01:06maybe out of the pen once they get to September,
01:10as they, you know, if they're able to keep him healthy,
01:12maybe as they move towards the playoffs,
01:14have him be a guy who, you know, gives them a few innings a game.
01:18I don't think he's – you can't really rely on him for fantasy at this point
01:22outside of maybe a deep league where you're just hoping to get any innings.
01:28But other than that, I – you know, he had a shoulder injury,
01:31terrible thing for a pitcher.
01:33I'm just – yeah, I'm really out on him.
01:35Blake Snell is actually – he's been more or less pretty healthy
01:40for, like, the last four or five years.
01:42He's been okay.
01:44Unfortunately, he, too, has a shoulder injury.
01:47So, you know, again, like, what – I don't know what you can do with that.
01:52I mean, unfortunately, you take what you can get,
01:55and hopefully you get maybe 30 to 50 innings from both guys.
02:00I doubt it.
02:01I wouldn't count on it.
02:02So I really think the Dodger rotation probably is going to figure itself out
02:06when it comes to innings.
02:08You know, Kershaw is another guy who really, at this point in his career,
02:11he really can't stay on the mound.
02:13You know, there's not really a bunch of reliable arms outside of Yamamoto.
02:18So I would probably be – if I were the Dodgers, I would be buying at the deadline.
02:24You know, even if it was someone like – you know, if they could get a –
02:28like a Charlie Morton, just someone to give them innings.
02:31I'm not saying Charlie Morton is good, but, yeah, I mean, just innings.
02:35You know, I think that's what they need.
02:36Yeah, four innings.
02:38You know, we're going to be at four innings with these pitchers, Gray, soon.
02:40We're at five innings.
02:41I know we're going to be at four pretty soon, too.
02:43You know, I can't – I don't think I can play the same game with you
02:46that I played with Georgia earlier because nobody's on top of these stats
02:49like you are in Tennessee baseball.
02:51So Georgia and I played a little game before, and Georgia was sort of stunned
02:55that today the Cubs – I mean, I guess they're going with Drew Pomerantz
03:01as an opener.
03:01That would be my guess.
03:03But, Gray, were you aware of his statistics in July?
03:08Like, I shocked myself, and then I shocked George.
03:12Like, hey, he's probably doing okay, you know?
03:14Like, and then you look at it, and okay is not even the stat for this.
03:18I mean, this is insane.
03:20Yeah.
03:21Yeah, no, he's basically going for the Oral Hershizer consecutive score list.
03:27Right.
03:27That would be something if it came from a guy out of the bullpen.
03:33Yeah, I have no explanation for it.
03:36I think it's just one of those fluky things because, like,
03:38he's not really striking out a ton of guys.
03:41He's walking a decent amount – Drew Pomerantz, that is.
03:44Yeah.
03:44But he hasn't allowed a run all year, which is really kind of bizarre.
