ఒడిశాలోని పూరీలో జగన్నాథుడి బహుడా యాత్ర భక్తుల జయజయధ్వానాల మధ్య కన్నులపండువగా సాగుతోంది. గుండిచా ఆలయం నుంచి జగన్నాథ, బలభద్ర, సుభద్రలు తిరుగు పయనం అయ్యే క్రతువునే బహుడా యాత్రగా పిలుస్తారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా గుండిచా ఆలయం నుంచి ముగ్గురు దేవతామూర్తుల విగ్రహాలను శారదాబలి వద్ద నిలిపిన రథాల వరకు ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువెళ్లారు. సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా ముగ్గురు మూర్తులను రథాలపైకి చేర్చారు. ఈ రథాలను భక్తులు జగన్నాథుడి ప్రధాన పీఠమైన మందిరం వరకు లాగుతారు

Lord Jagannath's 'Bahuda' Rath Yatra or return car festival formally began here today with lakhs of devotees pulling the chariot of Lord Balabhadra's 'Taladwaj' (14 wheeler chariot )after ceremonial 'Pahandi' and Gajapati Maharaja Divyasingha Deb performing 'Chhera Pahanra' (sweeping) rituals. Lakhs of devotees have thronged the city to witness this.
The sacred city of Puri is glowing with devotion and celebration as the annual Bahuda Yatra—the return journey of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra—takes place with unmatched grandeur.
🛕 The festival began with the traditional 'Pahandi Bije' (ceremonial procession), followed by the revered ‘Chhera Pahanra’ ritual performed by Gajapati Maharaja Divyasingha Deb, where he humbly sweeps the chariots with a golden broom.
