Rath Yatra 2025: Kang festival celebrated in Manipur with grandeur

Imphal (Manipur), June 27, 2025 (ANI): Manipur witnessed vibrant celebrations of Kang (Rath Yatra) with grandeur and religious devotion on June 27, 2025 (ANI). Thousands of devotees pulled the majestic chariot of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra from the Shri Shri Govindajee Temple, marking the beginning of the annual festival. As per tradition, no other chariot is pulled until the ritual begins at Govindajee temple. Devotees sang devotional songs, danced in circles, and filled the streets with spiritual fervour. Special security arrangements were in place to manage the large crowd and ensure smooth celebrations
