00:00:00Viewers, our top story for the day is the Prime Minister's visit to Trinidad and Tobago,
00:00:23the second nation in his five-nation war.
00:00:27Let's take you through some breaking news that's coming in.
00:00:30Grand welcome for the Prime Minister in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:00:33Trinidad and Tobago cabinet were seen in Indian attire welcoming the Prime Minister in an unprecedented move.
00:00:41Prime Minister Kamala Persaud welcomes the Prime Minister of our country at the airport herself.
00:00:47The Prime Minister, in fact, is to be conferred the highest honour of Trinidad and Tobago,
00:00:52just like we've seen the Prime Minister being conferred the same when he was on a visit to Ghana,
00:00:59which was his first stop in this very five-nation tour.
00:01:03But on your screens right now is the very welcome that was extended to him.
00:01:08Not just a warm welcome, but an unprecedented one.
00:01:11And at that, let's in fact listen in to what the Prime Minister had to say on India's relation,
00:01:17India's friendship with Trinidad and Tobago, and how it has grown stronger.
00:01:21When I last visited 25 years ago, we all admired the cover drives and pull shots of Lara.
00:01:41Today, it is Sunil Narayan and Nicholas Puran who ignited the same excitement in the hearts of our youth.
00:02:04Because between then and now, our friendship has grown even stronger.
00:02:15Pranay Upadhil, editor of India Today Global, joins me on the broadcast to in fact put it further into perspective at this point.
00:02:22Pranay, very good morning to you.
00:02:25You know, when we see such a warm welcome being extended to the Prime Minister across nations whenever he's on a visit,
00:02:33at this time it's Trinidad and Tobago, it indeed shows and speaks of his popularity within the world.
00:02:39And yes, how India has indeed established itself as the voice of the global south.
00:02:46Good morning, Sreya.
00:02:47And you rightly pointed out that the kind of welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi received in Trinidad and Tobago,
00:02:54his visit to Arabia, he mentioned that when he last visited 25 years ago,
00:02:59is still fresh in his memory and the very fact that he was received by the entire cabinet of the Trinidad and Tobago government at the airport
00:03:08and Prime Minister Kamala Prasad, which is a very richly praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
00:03:15And she said that we are receiving someone who is very near and dear to us.
00:03:21And she termed him as a transformational leader, as a global figure and India's position, you know,
00:03:29as a dominant and a prominent voice of the global south and a global power.
00:03:35So these are the words used by Kamala Prasad and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also when he addressed the Indian community.
00:03:42The very fact that Sreya, his first event after his, like, you know, his arrival in Trinidad and Tobago was a community event
00:03:51where he addressed the large gathering of the Indian community.
00:03:54And we all know the fact that Trinidad and Tobago has, you know, around 40 to 45 percent of their population is of Indian origin
00:04:03and very rich connect. And that's why Prime Minister also mentioned the fact that, you know,
00:04:10right from civilisation or the cultural connect to the cricketing connection,
00:04:14we share a lot of things with this Trinidad, with the small Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:04:20And Prime Minister mentioned about, you know, the Girmitiyas, their struggles, how they built Trinidad and Tobago
00:04:27and, you know, and how they preserved the Indian cultural values in Trinidad and Tobago,
00:04:34despite, you know, having left the land of India, having left Ganga and Yamuna behind,
00:04:40but still preserved the connection with Ramayana in heart.
00:04:44So these were the things Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned.
00:04:47He would also be holding bilateral talks with the Prime Minister and President there.
00:04:52And not only this cultural and the civilisation or the cricketing connection,
00:04:59but also Prime Minister will be, you know, giving what India can contribute to the Trinidad and Tobago's growth story.
00:05:08Trinidad and Tobago is a country where even Indian UPI works.
00:05:13So these are the important things, which not only Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned in his speech
00:05:18while addressing to the Indian diaspora, Indian community there,
00:05:23but also during his bilateral talks with the leadership of Trinidad and Tobago,
00:05:29there will be some important MOUs to be signed
00:05:33and some important agreements to be done with Trinidad and Tobago.
00:05:37Right, Pranay, absolutely.
00:05:40And, you know, please do stay with us at this point
00:05:43because there is more to this visit,
00:05:45not just the welcome that was extended to him at the airport,
00:05:49but there is more connections that the Prime Minister has spoken about
00:05:53between Trinidad and, in fact, specifically the Bihari community in India.
00:05:57Let's take you through that next.
00:06:07Well, when we speak of the welcome that was extended to Prime Minister Modi
00:06:12in Trinidad and Tobago,
00:06:14the Bihari community was seen welcoming the Prime Minister in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:06:20Bhojpuri Chautal to welcome the Prime Minister Modi.
00:06:24That is what we, in fact, saw.
00:06:25The Bihari culture being on display at the Port of Spain
00:06:30and ceremonial welcome was seen for the Prime Minister in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:06:35So, in fact, I'll just let you seep that in a little
00:06:41before we proceed into the conversation with Trinidad.
00:08:26Before we proceed with the conversation on this, let's quickly take a look at what exactly
00:08:32has been said by Prime Minister Modi while he's referred to the Prime Minister of Trinidad
00:08:38in Bhubago as Bihar Ki Beti.
00:08:40You are not just connected by blood or surname.
00:08:51You are connected by belonging.
00:08:57India looks out you.
00:09:01India welcomes you.
00:09:04And India embraces you.
00:09:06Friends, Pradhan Matri Kamla Ji ke Purwach Bihar ke Bakhtar mein rahaa karte se.
00:09:16Kamla Ji swaim vahaan ja kar bhi aai hai.
00:09:20I am sure you all welcome the return of Ramlala to Ayodhya after 500 years with great joy.
00:09:41We remember you had sent holy water and silas for building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
00:10:01I have also brought something here with a similar sense of devotion.
00:10:14It is my honour to bring a replica of Ram Mandir and some water.
00:10:29And water from the river Saru in Ayodhya.
00:10:36With that, let's now cut across to Pranay Upadhyay who continues to be with us.
00:10:40Pranay, you know when we hear the Prime Minister's words, firstly do help us understand how do we look at these very connections that's been spoken about by the Prime Minister.
00:10:50Because when we speak of Trinidad and Tobago, for centuries in fact if we look at it, a considerable amount of their population have had Indian roots.
00:10:59They have in fact moved from India to this particular place that we are speaking of, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:11:06And this is over centuries, not today.
00:11:08And the Prime Minister mentioning that, the Prime Minister mentioning Bihar Ki Beti.
00:11:12Do take us through the significance of all of it.
00:11:15Pranay Upadhyay, as Prime Minister used and said in Bhojpadi that,
00:11:20180 saal bital ho, man na bholal ho,
00:11:24Mahajan Ram ke har din mein gunjal ho.
00:11:26Meaning that like it's been 180 years, but still India is there in their heart.
00:11:32And not only India, but still Lord Rama is there in their heart.
00:11:37And this clearly shows the connection between the population of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:11:42These were the Indians who were taken on as contractual labour to Trinidad and Tobago.
00:11:47And, you know, that was the agreement.
00:11:49And that's why this is how those who went and travelled to Trinidad and Tobago from India,
00:11:54the eastern part of India, especially Bihar and eastern UP, on agreement turned into Girmitiyas.
00:12:01And because people could not pronounce agreement and that's why they called it Girmint.
00:12:06And it became Girmitiyas.
00:12:08And there is in Caribbean a large population, be it Guyana, be it Trinidad and Tobago.
00:12:13These are the countries where the Girmitiyas are in large number or in Mauritius.
00:12:19These Girmitiyas went there as contract labour.
00:12:23But now these are the free countries.
00:12:25Now they have built that country.
00:12:27But still they have preserved the India connect in these countries.
00:12:31And as Prime Minister rightly pointed out that, you know, Bihar ki beti.
00:12:36Why did he term it Bihar ki beti?
00:12:38Because he mentioned about her roots, the Prime Minister Kamala Prasad, the sister's roots to Baksar.
00:12:43She is, you know, still preserving those roots.
00:12:46And both Prime Minister and President of Trinidad and Tobago are the awardees of Pravati Bharti Taman,
00:12:53the award which India has given to, you know, to both these leaders.
00:12:58And this is the award which signifies, you know, how India respects those who share the diaspora connect,
00:13:06those who have, those who have preserved the Indian cultural values,
00:13:10despite being, you know, being in the other countries across the globe,
00:13:15those who are working for the Indian cultural values.
00:13:20So this clearly shows that, you know, how Prime Minister Modi respected and revert the cultural connect
00:13:27with the leadership of Trinidad and Tobago with the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:13:33And especially he mentioned about the connection, the religious connection,
00:13:39because, you know, in Trinidad and Tobago people, there are Ram Mandirs, there are Ram temples,
00:13:46there are, you know, the tradition of Bhajan and Kirtan.
00:13:49Absolutely.
00:13:50As you find in eastern part of India, the Chaupal Kirtan and Ramayana.
00:13:55Right, Rana.
00:13:56Yes, absolutely.
00:13:57These connects that have been referenced too by the Prime Minister indeed are extremely significant,
00:14:02especially for the relations, the bilateral relations between India and Trinidad and Tobago.
00:14:07And quite a successful visit for the Prime Minister at this point,
00:14:12as he now continues with his journey on the Five Nation tour.
00:14:25With that, viewers, we're now shifting our focus to the United States of America.
00:14:30We continue to keep our focus on the international arena at this given point.
00:14:33With that, the House passes Donald Trump's signature bill, sending it to the President's desk.
00:14:39Now, the House Republicans lifted President Donald Trump's $4.5 trillion tax breaks
00:14:46and spending cuts bill to final passage on Thursday,
00:14:50overcoming multiple setbacks to approve his signature second-term policy package
00:14:56before a self-imposed 4th of July deadline.
00:14:59That is the big news that we're bringing to you.
00:15:02The big, beautiful bill, the tax cut bill, has now been passed by the United States House
00:15:09and is with the President at this point for the signature for it to be finally passed.
00:15:15With that, let's quickly take you through what exactly has been said by Trump on this very bill.
00:15:20No tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our great seniors.
00:15:32And very importantly for Iowa, this bill rescues over 2 million family farms
00:15:37from the so-called estate tax or the death tax, in other words.
00:15:41Now, coming back closer home, this is from the very national arena at this given point,
00:15:48our next story, all eyes on who will be the next BJP president.
00:15:53J.P. Nuddha's term as BJP chief ended in January 2023,
00:15:58but the party extended his tenure until June 2024 to steer it through the looks of high elections.
00:16:04Now, amid the deadlock, over the new party chief, the Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to appoint a woman
00:16:10as its next national president, sources have told India Today.
00:16:14The move backed by the RSS would mark a historic first for the party.
00:16:19Over the recent election cycles, women voters have played a pivotal role in securing BJP victories,
00:16:25particularly in states like Maharashtra, Haryana and Delhi,
00:16:29whose elections have just taken place in the recent past.
00:16:32Among the frontrunners is Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman,
00:16:36who recently held a high-level meeting with current BJP president J.P. Nuddha.
00:16:41Another key name in the mix is D. Purandeshwari, the BJP's former Andhra Pradesh state president,
00:16:47and Vanathi Srinivasan, who is currently representing Coimbatore South in the state assembly.
00:16:54Now, the move is also likely to be discussed during the three-day RSS meet in Delhi.
00:16:59Sources reveal that the RSS has endorsed the idea of appointing a woman to the party's top post,
00:17:05recognizing both the symbolic and strategic advantages of female leadership in the party.
00:17:11With that, we are now shifting our focus to another story.
00:17:16By a con chairperson, Kiran Mahzumdar Shaw is at odds with Karnataka Chief Minister Sidhra Maiya.
00:17:22Why so? Well, this is over his recent claim, that is the Chief Minister's recent claims,
00:17:28claims that COVID-19 vaccines may be linked to a surge in sudden cardiac deaths in the Hassan district.
00:17:36Now, Sidhra Maiya has responded to Shaw's statement saying that vaccines were rolled out globally,
00:17:41without complete long-term data, and that several studies and even manufacturers
00:17:45have acknowledged adverse events, including cardiac issues.
00:17:49Chief Minister also clarified that scientific caution is not anti-science,
00:17:53and seeking answers is not retrospective blame.
00:17:56Earlier, the Biocon chairperson had accused Sidhra Maiya of spreading public misinformation
00:18:01and said that the vaccines were cleared after rigorous protocols,
00:18:05and that there was no harm from them.
00:18:08She's added, suggesting that the Indian vaccines were hastily approved, factually incorrect,
00:18:14and scientifically irresponsible in terms of being spread as information around the vaccines.
00:18:21Now, India's top scientists and health bodies have also issued a categorical rebuttal to Sidhra's claims.
00:18:27After the health ministry's fact-check, top medical bodies, including the AIMS,
00:18:32the Serum Institute of India, and the ICMR, have all asserted that there is no link
00:18:36between the COVID-19 vaccines and sudden heart-related deaths.
00:18:43The study was commissioned by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
00:18:47And this was a systematic study published in 2023.
00:18:52And what emerges is that COVID-19 vaccine was actually protective against sudden deaths,
00:19:03not enhancing the risk, but decreasing the risk, reducing the risk of sudden death,
00:19:10to the tune of 42 to 49% risk reduction.
00:19:15So, from this study, there is no question that we see any evidence that vaccines were associated with excess risk of sudden death.
00:19:29So, from this study, we also see that young people have a heart attack.
00:19:34And this means that the Indians have a heart problem for 10 years ago.
00:19:40And that is related to genes, it is related to our lifestyle.
00:19:44Our lifestyle in the past 15-20 years has changed.
00:19:46The diet has increased, the diet has altered, the fat and obesity has increased.
00:19:52And it is related to our physical activity.
00:19:56So, with all these things, the heart problems are increased.
00:19:59And in the younger age, they are seen more in the younger age.
00:20:02So, with vaccines, there is no correlation between deaths.
00:20:06We have not become the same question.
00:20:07We have confirmed because we don't have a response.
00:20:08We will act as a procedure.
00:20:09So, with vaccines, we have been able to adopt the people's army,
00:20:11we have been able to enter.
00:20:13And then we are also able to enter the authorities,
00:20:14there is no one section of the States.
00:20:15And then we have been able to get the data and the other choice of local authorities.
00:20:16So, we have been able to enter the cases that we have today.
00:20:17And then, in the next few days,
00:20:19the entire country is now available to us.
00:20:21Today, the general government has not been updated.
00:20:22So, we are able to inform the public officials,
00:20:23The identifies and the US and the states,
00:20:25Even though, our zeal and health professionals have been updated
00:20:27are based,
00:20:29And that we have been able to look into just at this kazoo.
00:20:30A.E.F.I. committee was created, which was monitoring the vaccine safety.
00:20:34Pre-COVID and post-COVID, there is no increase in number of cases.
00:20:38There is no significant increase.
00:20:41The same is more or less, plus or minus, the same is going on.
00:20:44In the last two years, we were studying a prospective study,
00:20:46which we were studying organs and studying at the genomic level.
00:20:50That study is going on a study.
00:20:51The result of the genomic level will be published very quickly.
00:20:55Now shifting focus to the national capital.
00:21:00Massive relief for the people of Delhi as the Delhi government has put on hold
00:21:04the contentious order denying fuel to end-of-life cars
00:21:09and the term for petrol vehicles older than 15 years and diesel vehicles older than 10.
00:21:14Welcoming the announcement, Ahmad Mipati mocked the NJP for taking a U-turn
00:21:20on what it called the Tughlaqi Farman.
00:21:23Now, three days after the order came into effect
00:21:27and Delhi government penned a letter to Commission for Air Quality Management
00:21:32highlighting that the fuel ban is not feasible
00:21:35and that it cannot be implemented due to technological challenges.
00:21:39The Ahmad Mipati has hailed it as a win for the people of Delhi,
00:21:44saying that the BJP is a government of U-turns
00:21:47and was forced to withdraw the Tughlaqi Farman due to public outcry.
00:21:53Which is a small council of the皆さん-man Security government?
00:21:57So, the Australian government of U-turns
00:21:59and as a government of U-turns
00:22:02and nurses say that a lot of government of the L.A.

00:24:30from Mahakumbh and a replica of the Ram Mandir to Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
00:24:36Prime Minister also expressed his joy after witnessing a traditional Bhojpuri Chautal
00:24:41performance in the port of Spain.
00:24:44Calling it a priceless cultural connection, he highlighted the deep-rooted ties between
00:24:49the two nations, particularly with eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
00:24:54Now, Prime Minister Modi, during his visit to Trinidad and Tobago, called Prime Minister
00:24:57Kamla, Bihar Ki Beti. Speaking to the Indian community, Prime Minister Modi has shared that
00:25:03the country's Prime Ministerial and the ancestral roots were from Baksar in Bihar and she has
00:25:09even visited the place. Prime Minister Modi was warmly received at the Piarco International
00:25:14Airport in port of Spain with a ceremonial welcome and a guard of honour. Upon arrival, he was
00:25:20greeted by Prime Minister Kamla Barsad Vissasar, who wore an Indian attire for the occasion,
00:25:25along with her entire cabinet, comprising 38 ministers and four members of the parliament,
00:25:31all present at the airport to welcome Prime Minister Modi.
00:25:36You are not just connected by blood or surname. You are connected by belonging.
00:25:48India looks out to you. India welcomes you. And India embraces you. Friends,
00:26:02I am sure you all welcome the return of Ram Lala to Ayodhya. After five years, I am sure you all welcome the return of Ram Lala to Ayodhya.
00:26:32100 years, with great joy. We remember, you had sent holy water and silas for building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
00:26:54I have also brought something here with a similar sense of devotion.
00:27:07It is my honour to bring a replica of Ram Mandir and some water and water from the river Saru in Ayodhya.
00:27:27The journey of the Indian community in Trinidad and Tobago is about courage.
00:27:39The circumstances your ancestors' face would have broken even the strongest spirits.
00:27:54But they faced hardships with hope.
00:27:58They faced hardships with hope.
00:28:04They made problems with persistence.
00:28:10They left the Ganga and Yamuna behind, but carried the Ramayana in their hearts.
00:28:22They were not just migrants.
00:28:26They were messengers of a timeless civilization.
00:28:36When I last visited 25 years ago, we all admired the cover drives and pull shots of Lara.
00:28:50Today, it is Sunil Narayan and Nicholas Puran who ignited the same excitement in the hearts of our youth.
00:29:12Between then and now, our friendship has grown even stronger.
00:29:22Prime Minister Modi, you are a transformational force who has refined governance of India
00:29:29and positioned your country as a prominent and dominant global power.
00:29:35Under your leadership, India has extended its hand to the world, but never more so through your compassion,
00:29:45through your benevolence with the Vaccines Initiative four years ago.
00:29:51When COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to its knees, while some other countries were hoarding medical supplies,
00:30:00you, sir, you ensured that vaccines and supplies reach even the smallest nations, including Trinidad and Dadega.
00:30:12With that, Srivani Sharma joins us on the broadcast to put things into further context.
00:30:16Farash Srivani, a very good morning to you.
00:30:18You know, this particular meet that we see, the bilateral meeting that's taken place,
00:30:23and also some of the remarks that's been made by both Prime Ministers.
00:30:27It only shows how much the relationship between India and Srinidad and Tobago
00:30:32have been reinforced with this visit of the Prime Minister.
00:30:35Sriya, this is the first visit by Prime Minister Narayan Modi to this Caribbean nation.
00:30:41And since 1999, this happens to be a first visit by the Indian Prime Minister.
00:30:47And the kind of gesture, the kind of welcome Prime Minister Narayan Modi has received in Trinidad and Tobago
00:30:53is remarkable because India had been supporting the country right from the COVID-19 pandemic time
00:31:01when vaccines were supplied out there.
00:31:03Prime Minister Narayan Modi has taken the holy water from Saru River
00:31:09because Trinidad and Tobago had contributed in the construction of the Ram temple
00:31:15with their wishes and the holy water that was sent across.
00:31:18And now, Prime Minister Narayan Modi has also taken a replica of the Ram Mandiri.
00:31:24He also said that around 13 lakh people of Trinidad and Tobago,
00:31:30the total population of which 45% people are of Indian origin.
00:31:34That's the kind of connection that India has with Trinidad and Tobago.
00:31:37And Prime Minister is in the country for a two-day visit
00:31:41and this happens to be the second leg of his five-day important visit here.
00:31:45Absolutely. Shivani, do stay with us.
00:31:47With that, viewers, let's quickly take you through that very clip
00:31:51where the Prime Minister, in fact, brings in the reference of Prime Minister Kamala's roots from Bihar.
00:31:58Her ancestral roots are from Baksar in Bihar.
00:32:01Let's take you through what exactly has been said by him on this
00:32:04before we proceed with the discussion on it.
00:32:07You are not just connected by blood or surname.
00:32:16You are connected by belonging.
00:32:21India looks out to you.
00:32:25India welcomes you.
00:32:28And India embraces you.
00:32:32Friends,
00:32:34Pradhan Matri Kamala Ji ke Purwach
00:32:37Bihar ke Baksar mein raha kar te hai.
00:32:42Kamala Ji Swaim vahaan ja kar bhi aai hai hai.
00:32:46Log hinne Bihar ki beti maante hai hai.
00:32:51Chivani, coming back to you at this point, you know, this has sort of become a highlight of the Prime Minister's visit.
00:33:02How he has, in fact, not just referenced but made importance and shown importance rather
00:33:10to the ties that India shares with Trinidad and Tobago with specific focus on Bihar.
00:33:17How the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago herself has her ancestral roots from the state of Bihar.
00:33:25The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reminded of the fact that most of the population in Trinidad and Tobago happens to be from India.
00:33:33There was a time when the ancestors had moved there. They had migrated to that place.
00:33:38They worked there as laborers.
00:33:40And today also there is a contribution of these people who have moved from India,
00:33:44and especially from Bihar to Trinidad and Tobago.
00:33:46They have contributed in the development of the nation.
00:33:49And specifically about the Prime Minister Kamala Prasad Viseswar.
00:33:54Prime Minister mentioned that she is Bihar ki beti because she has her roots in Baksar in Bihar.
00:34:00So that special emphasis on Bihar can also be understood by the fact that the majority of people have moved from India.
00:34:09When they moved from India, they were mostly from Bihar.
00:34:12And they keep those traditions alive miles away from the country.
00:34:16So that is the kind of connection that has been drawn and reminded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he is in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:34:23Absolutely Shivani, thank you so much for putting it into perspective for our viewers out there.
00:34:27Definitely a big push we see between the relationship that India shares with Trinidad and Tobago with this visit of the Prime Minister.
00:34:38And we will now keep a track of all the rest of the tour that the Prime Minister is to take from here.
00:34:45With that, viewers, now we bring your focus to a rather important story, a tragedy that has struck big revelations by the kin of the Air India plane crash victims.
00:35:06Kin asked to show dependency for compensation.
00:35:09The families of the Air India 171 crash victims allege Air India pressured them over compensation claims.
00:35:18Lawyers claim Air India forced the families to disclose financial dependency to get compensation.
00:35:24Air India accused of threatening families of the Air India 171 crash victims.
00:35:29London law firm advising for T-plus families says Air India is using pressure tactics at this point towards law firm has said AI 171 crash victim families work worst into signing forms under threat.
00:35:43Lawyers allege Air India's questionnaire could reduce compensation amounts as well.
00:35:49These are crucial details we are picking up on and disturbing claims at the same time in the aftermath of that devastating tragedy that had struck Ahmedabad.
00:35:59With that, we cut across to Nalini Sharma who joins us on the broadcast to give us more details.
00:36:03Nalini, these are disturbing claims coming to the fore from the victims' families.
00:36:08Air India has only been on a downward spiral, I must say, ever since the crash took place.
00:36:14Series of events that's taken place put in them on the back, put in leading to loss of face at this point.
00:36:19At the outset, it also needs to be clarified that Air India has issued an exclusive statement to India today where they have categorically denied these allegations.
00:36:31They have said that they are unsubstantiated and that Air India is trying in the most supportive and flexible way to try and get the compensation done for the families.
00:36:41In fact, they've also said that 47 of these families have already received the compensation, 55 others, their documentation has been completed.
00:36:51They are in the process of receiving the payments.
00:36:53So, a categorical denial has come in from Air India.
00:36:56But like you correctly pointed out, the allegations are also very serious.
00:36:59Because what Stewart's law firm based in the UK has told us, and they are advising 40 plus families is what we are given to understand,
00:37:07is that all of these family members were asked to fill out these forms.
00:37:13And they were asked to fill out these forms under the threat and pressure of receiving the compensation.
00:37:19They've also said that these forms specifically dealt with disclosing the financial dependency of the family members on the person who had passed away in the AI 171 crash.
00:37:31So that, the lawyers allege, is likely to determine the amount of compensation that will be received,
00:37:37because it will be directly related to the amount of financial dependency the family members had on the deceased person.
00:37:43So that's a big allegation coming in from the lawyers who are representing.
00:37:47We are given to understand at least a few law firms for sure, but they are also advising 40 plus firms is what we are given to understand.
00:37:53But at the same time, Air India has also categorically denied it.
00:37:56They've said that all of this was part of the procedural formalities.
00:38:00And not only were the families allowed to sign the form there, but they were also given the option to send it via email if required.
00:38:08So as to whether or not Air India or the families in this case are giving out the entire truth is something that's going to come out only in the coming few days.
00:38:17Once there are actual lawsuits that are filed either in the US or the UK regarding these allegations,
00:38:22it remains to be seen how the legal strategy develops.
00:38:25But very important allegations that have surfaced and more important than that,
00:38:29Air India also categorically denying these allegations, saying that they are unsubstantiated and hold no valid ground whatsoever.
00:38:36Right, Nalini, when we speak of compensation in the first place,
00:38:41we've seen several family members had come in to say that, you know, the loss of life that's taken place cannot be compensated.
00:38:47They were, in fact, family members coming out to say that what will we do with this money now that we have lost our family members.
00:38:54So it is a rather sensitive area as well.
00:38:57Would you say from preliminary reports that we are getting, apart from this very incident or other allegations that's come to the fore as well,
00:39:07would you say Air India has been dealing with the entire situation in the right manner so far into the compensation claims that have been made?
00:39:16Well, Shreya, that's what Air India claims, that they have been proceeding with everything with not only utmost professionalism,
00:39:23but also sensitivity because they say that they realize that it's a difficult time for these families,
00:39:28which is why they have assigned specific people to support these families during this time and to try and ensure that there are no hurdles when it comes to receiving these compensation claims.
00:39:39But at the same time, what needs to be understood is that there are international obligations under which Air India is required to make these payments and not just the payments of the compensation,
00:39:50but a certain portion of it also needs to be given in advance to these families so that their immediate needs,
00:39:56specifically the funeral expenses and any travel related costs can be covered by that initial advance payment that Air India needs to make.
00:40:04That's mentioned in the Montreal Convention quite clearly, and that's an obligation that Air India cannot do away with.
00:40:10Now, what these families are actually alleging is that to receive this advance compensation, they've been forced to sign the forms.
00:40:17And some of these families asked for some time, they said they wanted to consult their lawyers because they were not sure as to whether or not they should be disclosing
00:40:26what kind of financial dependency they had on their deceased person to Air India against which they could possibly be in a legal battle before the court of law if they ask for an enhanced compensation.
00:40:40The catch here, Shreya, in this entire matter is that when it comes to aviation disasters like this, not only is there a fixed liability on the airline already,
00:40:49but there is also a concept of unlimited liability, which means that all of these aggrieved families can ask for as much amount as possible.
00:40:58And there is no upper limit or upper cap to cap this amount.
00:41:02So keeping that in mind, there are possible lawsuits that we are going to be seeing for enhanced compensation that is going to be filed.
00:41:10And not just are these lawyers in touch with the families in the UK, but we are given to understand they are also in touch with families from India.
00:41:17So that could mean a large amount of families.
00:41:20It is important to clarify that till now there are no official lawsuits filed.
00:41:24But these lawyers have told us that they are considering as to whether or not the lawsuits should be filed within the US or the UK is something that they're discussing right now.
00:41:34There are daily meetings going on with these family members and between their lawyers.
00:41:38So it remains to be seen how things develop in the coming days.
00:41:41Very true, Nalini.
00:41:42Thank you for bringing us all those details about the procedure that's in fact being taken by the India Airlines at this point and how things may pan out in the upcoming days.
00:41:53But for now, that's all we have for you on this very piece of information.
00:42:04Viewers, our next breaking news is with regards to Operation Sindur.
00:42:10Yet another claim that's coming from the Pakistani side.
00:42:13Pakistan has now come out to admit that the Brahmos missile was too fast for them.
00:42:19Pakistani Prime Minister's aide has said, and I quote,
00:42:22We have 30 to 40 seconds to identify the missile warhead.
00:42:26Operation Sindur left Pakistan defence crambling.
00:42:30These are claims yet again coming in from the Pakistani side.
00:42:34A senior Pakistani politician and close aide to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif himself has revealed that Pakistan's military had just 30 to 45 seconds to determine whether the Brahmos missile launched by India carried a nuclear warhead.
00:42:48Rana Fanola, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister said in a recent interview that the launch of Brahmos cruise missile during India's Operation Sundur left Pakistan's defence apparatus crambling.
00:43:03These are the details that we are picking up at this point.
00:43:06In fact, let's listen in to what exactly has been said by this very close aide to the Prime Minister before we proceed with the conversation on it.
00:43:13For a previous reason, this is
00:43:20Mr. Nour Khan Mission was just three or sixty seconds to triggerités in a foreign opinion.
00:43:29fan base was only 30 or 45 seconds to 영commence

00:44:04that was a bad thing.
00:44:07I didn't say that
00:44:08that I didn't say that
00:44:10it was not a bad thing.
00:44:12But if this side
00:44:14is a bad thing,
00:44:16that it is a good thing,
00:44:18and if there is a action
00:44:21or if there is a action
00:44:23or if there is a action,
00:44:23then the whole world
00:44:25is aatomy,
00:44:26and the world is aatomy,
00:44:28which is a good thing,
00:44:30that you can't do it.
00:44:32In this situation,
00:44:33if Donald Trump
00:44:35has aatomy and the whole world
00:44:38has so much a bad thing,
00:44:41then it should be a independent evaluation
00:44:44and if there is aatomy
00:44:48that it should be aatomy,
00:44:50then the government of Pakistan

00:44:56has aatomy,
00:44:57which is aatomy and aatomy
00:44:59and aatomy and aatomy
00:45:00has done it.
00:45:03Shivani Sharma joins us
00:45:04on the broadcast
00:45:05to bring us more details
00:45:06and put it into further context.
00:45:08Raj Shivani,
00:45:08you know,
00:45:09while we discuss
00:45:10what exactly has been said
00:45:12by the Pakistani side
00:45:14on the Brahmos missile,
00:45:16this is the second time
00:45:17we see one of their
00:45:18authority members
00:45:20coming out
00:45:21to say that,
00:45:22yes,
00:45:22not only was Brahmos fired,
00:45:24but yes,
00:45:25their defences
00:45:26were scrambling
00:45:27to in fact
00:45:28understand
00:45:29how to react
00:45:30or respond
00:45:31to this entire situation.
00:45:32There's another disturbing claim
00:45:33that's been made
00:45:34by this very person
00:45:36in what we just heard
00:45:38is the mention
00:45:40of Donald Trump.
00:45:41I would want you to
00:45:42in fact take us
00:45:43through both
00:45:43the parts
00:45:44of this very
00:45:45remark that's been made.
00:45:47Shriya,
00:45:50this is very interesting
00:45:51how Pakistan
00:45:52is now admitting
00:45:53the kind of devastation
00:45:54it had to face
00:45:56after Operation Sindhur
00:45:58and the missiles
00:45:58that created
00:45:59havoc inside Pakistan.
00:46:01Rana Sanau
00:46:02now is a special assistant
00:46:03to the Prime Minister.
00:46:04He has said
00:46:05in this interview
00:46:05that it took
00:46:06around 30 to 45 seconds
00:46:08to determine
00:46:09whether the Brahmos missile
00:46:10launched by India
00:46:11was carrying
00:46:11a nuclear warhead
00:46:12or not.
00:46:13And you remember
00:46:14how all the air defense
00:46:15systems of Pakistan
00:46:16failed miserably
00:46:18and there was
00:46:19a lot of destruction
00:46:19not only on the
00:46:20terror campsite
00:46:21but also on
00:46:239th and 10th of May
00:46:24when India
00:46:25retaliated
00:46:26while Pakistan
00:46:27was trying to
00:46:28target the civilians
00:46:29on the western
00:46:30border of the country.
00:46:31So this is
00:46:32a very contradictory
00:46:33kind of a statement
00:46:34where the admissions
00:46:35are coming in
00:46:35from Pakistan's side
00:46:37how trembling
00:46:38it was for them.
00:46:39They were shattered
00:46:40totally by the
00:46:41Brahmos missiles
00:46:42and on the other hand
00:46:43they are once again
00:46:44trying to show
00:46:44that Donald Trump
00:46:46the US president
00:46:47he mediated
00:46:47peace teams
00:46:48because India
00:46:49has made it
00:46:50very clear
00:46:50that it was
00:46:52Pakistan who
00:46:53begged
00:46:53who came begging
00:46:55to India
00:46:55because a lot of
00:46:56havoc was being
00:46:57created inside
00:46:58Pakistan
00:46:58with the Indian
00:46:59missiles
00:47:00especially the
00:47:01Brahmos
00:47:01and they wanted
00:47:02peace.
00:47:03So this is how
00:47:04Sanaullah
00:47:05is now saying
00:47:06that that is why
00:47:07Pakistan's Prime
00:47:08Minister had been
00:47:09saying that there
00:47:09should be a
00:47:10Nobel Peace
00:47:12recommendation
00:47:12from US
00:47:13President.
00:47:14So this is how
00:47:15once again
00:47:16Pakistan remains
00:47:17exposed.
00:47:18On the other hand
00:47:19they are trying
00:47:20to give a false
00:47:21narrative that
00:47:22they defended
00:47:23themselves well.
00:47:24On the other hand
00:47:25these people
00:47:25who are themselves
00:47:26the authorities
00:47:27in Pakistan's
00:47:28government
00:47:28they are claiming
00:47:29that they were
00:47:29totally shattered
00:47:30by the Brahmos.
00:47:31a lot of
00:47:32contradictions
00:47:33there that's
00:47:34coming to light
00:47:35at this point
00:47:35as we still
00:47:37speak of the
00:47:37attacks that
00:47:38took place
00:47:39as a part of
00:47:40Operation Sundoor.
00:47:41We will keep a
00:47:42track of all these
00:47:42developments viewers.
00:47:44Welcome back viewers.
00:47:46You're watching
00:47:46First Up on India
00:47:47Today and at the
00:47:48very top of this
00:47:48segment we bring
00:47:49to you breaking
00:47:50news coming in
00:47:51from the story
00:47:52around the
00:47:52Tamil Nadu
00:47:53custodial murder
00:47:54that's taking place.
00:47:55Now as we speak
00:47:56chilling revelations
00:47:57are coming to the
00:47:58forefront in the
00:47:59Tamil Nadu
00:48:00Custodial murder
00:48:01case.
00:48:02Autopsy has come
00:48:03out to reveal
00:48:0444 injuries on
00:48:05victim Ajit.
00:48:07The autopsy has
00:48:08also reported
00:48:09abrasion over the
00:48:10right side of
00:48:11the forehead.
00:48:12Hemorrhage in
00:48:13brain of Ajit
00:48:14who is the victim.
00:48:16Hemorrhage in
00:48:16stomach of Ajit
00:48:18as well.
00:48:18These are some
00:48:19of the crucial
00:48:20details that's
00:48:21come to the fore
00:48:22from the autopsy
00:48:22report.
00:48:2344 injury marks
00:48:25is what we are
00:48:26being given to
00:48:27understand at this
00:48:28point.
00:48:29Remember this is
00:48:30a rather chilling
00:48:31murder case that
00:48:32had come to the
00:48:33forefront from
00:48:34Tamil Nadu.
00:48:35A custodial murder
00:48:36case, a 27-year-old
00:48:37temple security guard
00:48:38who had been picked
00:48:39up from Shivangai
00:48:40district and was
00:48:43taken into police
00:48:44custody on June
00:48:4527th for questioning
00:48:47in connection with a
00:48:48jewellery theft case.
00:48:49And then he was
00:48:51shockingly found dead
00:48:52the next day.
00:48:53With that we have
00:48:54Anagar Kesar
00:48:55joining us on the
00:48:56broadcast to bring us
00:48:57more details.
00:48:57Anagar, very good
00:48:58morning to you.
00:48:59These autopsy
00:49:00revelations that
00:49:01come to the fore
00:49:02in fact substantiate
00:49:03serious physical
00:49:05torture that Ajit
00:49:07had in fact
00:49:08endured while he
00:49:09was in custody.
00:49:11How does this
00:49:11further the probe at
00:49:12this point?
00:49:13Bring us more
00:49:13details.
00:49:15Good morning to you
00:49:16as well.
00:49:16In fact the post-mortem
00:49:18report that has come
00:49:19out is utterly
00:49:20chilling.
00:49:21There are 44 injuries
00:49:22like we reported.
00:49:23Apart from that
00:49:24the deceased Ajit
00:49:26Kumar he also
00:49:27sustained multiple
00:49:28dark sub-capital
00:49:30contusions found in
00:49:31the scalp.
00:49:32Then there was also
00:49:34brain hemorrhage that
00:49:35he had to undergo in
00:49:36both lobes of the
00:49:37brain.
00:49:38Then there was also
00:49:39some kind of
00:49:39discoloration in the
00:49:41skull that's caused
00:49:42because of the blood
00:49:43that's found trapped
00:49:44inside the skull and
00:49:46there's also some
00:49:47sort of bite mark
00:49:48that has been noted
00:49:49all over his body.
00:49:51Then even inside his
00:49:53heart there was
00:49:54hemorrhage that was
00:49:55noted by doctors.
00:49:56In fact there were
00:49:57multiple points of
00:49:58hemorrhage all over
00:49:59his body even in
00:50:01some parts of stomach
00:50:02as well.
00:50:02So brain, heart and
00:50:03stomach in three
00:50:04crucial organs.
00:50:06Ajit Kumar had
00:50:07endured a hemorrhage
00:50:09and internal bleeding
00:50:10also liver as well.
00:50:14So heart, brain,
00:50:15stomach and liver
00:50:16truly chilling to
00:50:18even read and go
00:50:19through the kind of
00:50:20post-mortem report
00:50:21that has come out.
00:50:22One can only imagine
00:50:24the kind of brutality
00:50:25that Ajit Kumar was
00:50:27subjected to.
00:50:28In fact the high
00:50:29court also noted that
00:50:30there was not a
00:50:31single body part of
00:50:32Ajit Kumar that was
00:50:33left by the policemen
00:50:34who severely tortured
00:50:36him.
00:50:36Every single body part
00:50:38of Ajit Kumar was
00:50:39subjected to intense
00:50:40torture that
00:50:41subsequently led to
00:50:43his killing.
00:50:45Shocking and
00:50:46irresponsible to say
00:50:47the least at this
00:50:48given point Anagar but
00:50:49just quickly I would
00:50:50want to take an
00:50:51overall update from
00:50:52you on the probe
00:50:54that's been continuing.
00:50:55We know that the
00:50:56CBI has now taken
00:50:57over the case.
00:50:57If you could just
00:50:58take us through the
00:50:59details of what
00:51:00exactly are the
00:51:01latest developments
00:51:01on that side.
00:51:03Well that's right.
00:51:04In fact initially the
00:51:06CBCID had taken
00:51:07over the probe but
00:51:08now the
00:51:09Tamil Nadu
00:51:10government has
00:51:10decided to hand it
00:51:11over to the CBI.
00:51:15In fact six, five
00:51:16policemen who were
00:51:18involved in this
00:51:18particular murder have
00:51:19been arrested by the
00:51:21Tamil Nadu police.
00:51:22The interrogation is
00:51:23on to really find out
00:51:24why was there this
00:51:26kind of exaggerated
00:51:28torture for a case
00:51:29that was as petty as
00:51:31a theft.
00:51:31It is a small case
00:51:33even in the court of
00:51:34law it is called as
00:51:35the minor case and for
00:51:37this minor case
00:51:38why was it that
00:51:39Ajit Kumar was
00:51:39subjected to this
00:51:40level of intense and
00:51:42chilling torture.
00:51:43So all these angles
00:51:44will be probed.
00:51:46In fact the Tamil Nadu
00:51:47government has also
00:51:48assured full cooperation
00:51:50to the CBI.
00:51:51Whatever information
00:51:52that they need,
00:51:53any resources that the
00:51:54CBI would require for
00:51:55their probe,
00:51:55Chief Minister Stalin
00:51:57has assured full and
00:51:58full support for the
00:51:59CBI.
00:52:00In fact on July 8th,
00:52:01July 8th will be the
00:52:03last day for a high
00:52:04court monitored probe.
00:52:06So Justice John
00:52:08Suresh will also be
00:52:09submitting his final
00:52:10report on July 8th to
00:52:12the Madras high
00:52:12court.
00:52:13So two probes are on
00:52:14simultaneously.
00:52:15Of course the CBI will
00:52:16be making use of
00:52:17reports that will be
00:52:18submitted by the high
00:52:19court judge for its
00:52:20own probe as well.
00:52:22Right Anika, thank you
00:52:23for bringing us all
00:52:24those details into the
00:52:25very probe that's
00:52:26continuing into this
00:52:27shocking and chilling
00:52:30murder to say the
00:52:31least at this point.
00:52:32And that's all that we
00:52:33have for you on this
00:52:34very story.
00:52:34We are keeping a track
00:52:35of all the details as
00:52:36they come in.
00:52:40Moving on.
00:52:41This is a story that's
00:52:42now gaining momentum
00:52:43in the country itself.
00:52:45All eyes on who will be
00:52:47the next BJP president.
00:52:50JP Nadar's term as
00:52:51BJP chief ended in
00:52:52January 2023.
00:52:54But the party had
00:52:55extended his tenure
00:52:56until June 2024 to
00:52:58steer it through the
00:53:00looks of high
00:53:00elections.
00:53:01Now amid the
00:53:01deadlock over the
00:53:02new party chief, the
00:53:03Bharatiya Janata
00:53:04party is likely to
00:53:05appoint a woman as
00:53:07its next national
00:53:08president, sources have
00:53:10told India Today.
00:53:11The move, backed by
00:53:12the RSS themselves,
00:53:13would in fact mark a
00:53:14historic first for the
00:53:16party.
00:53:17Over recent election
00:53:18cycles, women voters
00:53:19have indeed played a
00:53:20pivotal role in
00:53:22securing the BJP
00:53:23victories, particularly
00:53:24in the elections that
00:53:26have taken place in
00:53:27states like Maharashtra,
00:53:28Haryana and Delhi in the
00:53:29recent past.
00:53:30Among the frontrunners is
00:53:32Union Finance Minister
00:53:33Nirmala Sitaraman, who
00:53:34recently held a high-level
00:53:36meeting with the current
00:53:37BJP president, J.P.
00:53:38Nadda.
00:53:39Another key name in the
00:53:40mix is D.
00:53:41Purandeshwari, the BJP's
00:53:43former Andhra Pradesh
00:53:43state president, and
00:53:45Vanathi Srinivasan, who
00:53:46currently represents
00:53:48Coimbatore South in the
00:53:49state assembly.
00:53:51The move is also likely
00:53:52to be discussed during
00:53:53the three-day RSS huddle
00:53:55in the national capital.
00:53:57Now, sources have
00:53:57revealed that the RSS has
00:53:59endorsed the idea
00:54:00already of appointing a
00:54:01woman to the party's
00:54:02top post, recognizing
00:54:04both the symbolic and
00:54:06the strategic advantages
00:54:07of female leadership.
00:54:08So, this is the
00:54:11particular story that we
00:54:12are tracking at this
00:54:13given point.
00:54:14It is a big political
00:54:15story that we are
00:54:16keeping a track of as
00:54:17well as to who shall be
00:54:19heading the BJP next.
00:54:21This is a big question
00:54:22because remember, J.P.
00:54:23Nadda's term had been
00:54:25extended for the Lok Sabha
00:54:27polls, which took place in
00:54:292024.
00:54:30But now, the question is
00:54:33who shall be in fact
00:54:34succeeding him in this
00:54:36very post.
00:54:36And the suspense on who
00:54:38will be the next BJP
00:54:39national president has
00:54:41only been building up
00:54:42for months.
00:54:44The race has now
00:54:45picked up pace.
00:54:46The ruling party has
00:54:47announced 10 new state
00:54:49heads and the RSS is
00:54:50set to hold a three-day
00:54:51Prant Pracharak meet in
00:54:53Delhi starting tomorrow,
00:54:55hinting at a possible
00:54:56consensus on the next
00:54:58BJP chief soon.
00:54:59Take a look at this
00:55:00report for more details
00:55:02on the story.
00:55:06The countdown is on
00:55:14as to who the BJP will
00:55:16pick as the national
00:55:17president.
00:55:18While it's been a long
00:55:20wait, the BJP has been
00:55:21actively picking its state
00:55:22chiefs to set the stage
00:55:24for the national president
00:55:25to be chosen.
00:55:27And the focus is on the
00:55:28RSS, which has a big say
00:55:30on who will head the
00:55:32Bharatiya Janata Party.
00:55:33The RSS will kick off a
00:55:37three-day huddle tomorrow
00:55:38in the national capital,
00:55:40which will see RSS chief
00:55:42Mohan Bhagwat in
00:55:43attendance.
00:55:44The RSS, when asked
00:55:45about the BJP chief's
00:55:47appointment, had this to
00:55:49say a few days ago.
00:55:50The RSS right now tight-lipped
00:56:12on their pick or choice
00:56:13and for now claim there
00:56:15will be no discussion on
00:56:16this in the three-day meet.
00:56:20Look back in time and the
00:56:45RSS has always had a big
00:56:47say on who will become
00:56:48the BJP chief.
00:56:51JP Narda, too, rose
00:56:53through the ranks from the
00:56:54Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi
00:56:56Parishad, ABVP, the
00:56:58student wing of the RSS.
00:57:01Will the RSS's three-day
00:57:02meet give more clarity on
00:57:04who is the front-runner for
00:57:07the BJP's chief post?
00:57:09Bureau Report, India Today.
00:57:10Shifting focus to a story that
00:57:17in fact comes in from down
00:57:19south yet again.
00:57:20Biocon chairperson Kiran
00:57:21Mazumdar-Shaw is at odds
00:57:23with Karnataka chief
00:57:24minister Sidira Maya.
00:57:26Why?
00:57:26Well, this is over his recent
00:57:28claim that COVID-19 vaccines
00:57:30may be linked to a surge in
00:57:32sudden cardiac deaths in
00:57:34Hassan district.
00:57:35Now, Sidira Maya has
00:57:36responded to Shaw's statement
00:57:37saying that vaccines were
00:57:39rolled out globally without
00:57:40complete long-term data and
00:57:42that several studies and
00:57:44even manufacturers themselves
00:57:45have acknowledged the
00:57:47adverse events including
00:57:48cardiac issues.
00:57:49Chief minister also clarified
00:57:50that scientific caution is
00:57:52not anti-science and seeking
00:57:54answers is not retrospective
00:57:56blame.
00:57:57Earlier, the Biocon chairperson
00:57:59had accused Sidira Maya of
00:58:00spreading public
00:58:01misinformation and said that
00:58:03vaccines were cleared after
00:58:05rigorous testing and protocols
00:58:07being followed.
00:58:08She added that suggesting that
00:58:09Indian vaccines were
00:58:11hastily approved, factually
00:58:13incorrect and scientifically
00:58:14irresponsible.
00:58:16India's top scientists and
00:58:17health bodies have also issued
00:58:18a categorical rebuttal to
00:58:20Siddha's claims after the
00:58:21health minister's fact check.
00:58:23Top medical bodies, including
00:58:24AIMS, the Serum Institute of
00:58:26India and the ICMR have all
00:58:28asserted that there is no link
00:58:30between COVID-19 vaccines and
00:58:33sudden heart-related deaths.
00:58:35Let's take a look at some of
00:58:36these reactions that we're
00:58:37speaking of.
00:58:39The study was commissioned by the
00:58:41Indian Council of Medical
00:58:42Research and this was a
00:58:44systematic study published in
00:58:462023 and what emerges is that
00:58:51COVID-19 vaccine was actually
00:58:54protective against sudden
00:58:57deaths.
00:58:58not enhancing the risk, not enhancing
00:59:00the risk, but decreasing the
00:59:03risk, reducing the risk of
00:59:05sudden death to the tune of 42 to
00:59:0949 percent risk reduction.
00:59:11So there is from this study, there
00:59:13is no question that we see any
00:59:16evidence that vaccines were
00:59:20associated with excess risk of
00:59:24sudden death.
00:59:25COVID-19 vaccine is also
00:59:27seeing that young people have
00:59:29heart attack.
00:59:30And this means that the
00:59:32heart problems have been
00:59:3410 years before the
00:59:35start of the year.
00:59:36And that is related to genes, it is
00:59:38related to our lifestyle.
00:59:40Our lifestyle has changed in the past 15
00:59:42It has changed a lot, the diet has improved, the diet has altered, the fat and the obesity has improved and the physical activity has reduced.
00:59:52The heart problems are increased and in the younger age.
00:59:59So, with vaccines, there is no correlation between deaths.
01:00:03The vaccine has come to the market, the vaccine has passed by the regulator and the government has passed by the government.
01:00:14When the safety and safety of the population has been made, we are confident.
01:00:21With this, the entire country has made the A.E.F.I. committee, which is being monitored by the vaccine safety.
01:00:31In pre-COVID and post-COVID, there is no number of cases.
01:00:34There is no significant increase.
01:00:37The same, more or less, plus or minus, is the same.
01:00:40In the past two years, we have been studying the prospectus,
01:00:43which we are studying the organs,
01:00:45and we are studying the genomic level.
01:00:47The result of the genomic level will be published very quickly.
01:00:52The messenger of the vaccine, Pfizer,
01:00:56there is already cardiomyopathy.
01:00:58The government has said that you can write the vaccine that cardiomyopathy can do.
01:01:04The cardiomyopathy can do.
01:01:06The cardiomyopathy can do.
01:01:08But we have not used it.
01:01:09We have not used it.
01:01:10We can clotting it.
01:01:11We can clotting it.
01:01:12We can do the vaccine.
01:01:14But we can see how much of the clotting can happen.
01:01:21If clotting and all of these things get the benefit of it,
01:01:23it is,
01:01:23means that it takes about the get-down and the cost of the clotting.
01:01:26The data has been amount of 20 to 50,000 people.
01:01:29If you have 14,000 lives,
01:01:31and, where there are 15,000 of people dying,
01:01:33you know, 14,000 people dying,
01:01:35If the virus avec 40-30 to 40, it's dangerous for the vaccine, but there is a huge event in the right.
01:01:46We are shifting our focus to the national capital.
01:01:48Massive relief for people of Delhi.
01:01:50The Delhi government has put on hold the contemptuous order denying fuel to end-of-life cars.
01:01:57The term for petrol vehicles older than 15 years and diesel vehicles older than 10 years.
01:02:02Welcoming the announcement, Ahmad Mipati mocked the NJP for taking a U-turn on what it called the Tughla Ki Farman
01:02:10Three days after the order came into effect, Delhi government has penned a letter to the Commission for Air Quality Management
01:02:16highlighting that the fuel ban is not feasible and that it cannot be implemented due to technological challenges
01:02:23Ahmad Mipati on the other hand has hailed it as a win for the people of Delhi
01:02:27saying that the BJP is a government of U-turns and was forced to withdraw the Tughla Ki Farman due to public outcry
01:02:35Let's first take a look at some of the reactions that have come in to this very story

01:05:16You know, I'm standing at the petrol pump and right behind me you would see this order that was issued by the Delhi government which clearly reads about how EOL vehicles, patrol and diesel vehicles will not be given fuel from 1st of July.
01:05:31That order is still hanging on the petrol pump. The reason behind it is that while the Delhi government has cleared its stance, citing that as to how there are technical glitches in the ANPR system, the cameras that has been installed on the petrol pumps in the national capital, there are technical glitches with the speaker system which is that many of the times when vehicles are being identified, either there is no announcement or announcement on vehicles, there shouldn't be.
01:05:58You know, that along with that other technical aspects as to how this order should be implemented in the NCR states and not only in Delhi because that would prompt two things.
01:06:09Number one, Delhi vehicles getting refueled in the adjoining districts of the NCR. Number two, the NCR vehicles coming down to the national capital and because there is no database in the ANPR system of these vehicles, they will be able to continue to get fuel from Delhi petrol pumps, which is a very unfair system.
01:06:27That would have been established in the national system that would have been established in the national capital towards the Delhiwalas who have nearly more than 60 lakh such vehicles which have reached their end of life if we consider 15 years for patrol and 10 years for diesel vehicles.
01:06:43Having said that, you know, in the past couple of days, Aam Admi Party was aggressive on this issue, accusing the Delhi government, the Bharatiya Janata Party led Delhi government, the Rekha Gupta government of being working in tandem with the automobile industry, working in favour of the automobile industry,
01:07:01because their argument was that if 60 lakh vehicles are taken off-road from the national capital, it will be the Aam Admi, the middle class of Delhi who would be forced to buy new cars and this would benefit the automobile sector.
01:07:15So their acquisition was that it's being done on the instructions or in tandem with the automobile sector to benefit them.
01:07:24And obviously, now that the government has returned to CAQM, you know, the Aam Admi Party will declare its victory, but CAQM is yet to declare the new order or issue the new order.
01:07:37Back to you.
01:07:38Thank you for all those details, Amit.
01:07:39Yes, we will keep a track of how this impact develops from here at this point in the national capital.
01:07:45But for now, viewers, we're shifting our focus to another story.
01:07:48Soham Parekh, an Indian tech professional, is at the centre of a storm in the Silicon Valley after being accused of moonlighting or quietly working for multiple start-ups at once,
01:08:00all without telling the companies involved.
01:08:02Here is a report on what exactly went down.
01:08:08Meet Soham Parekh, now officially crowned the CEO of Multitasking and the Wolf of YC Street.
01:08:18An Indian software engineer accused of pulling off what may be Silicon Valley's most audacious moonlighting scandal yet.
01:08:27Parekh allegedly worked at three to five US startups simultaneously without informing any of them.
01:08:32His employers, the who's who of AI and start-ups, all say they hired him, oblivious to his antecedents.
01:08:42Until his cover was blown when Mixpanel founder, Suhail Doshi, publicly warned fellow entrepreneurs.
01:08:48He even put out Soham's CV online, claiming it was 90% fake.
01:08:52What followed was a floodgate of responses coming in from other employers of Parekh.
01:09:04When exposed, Soham allegedly messaged his former boss,
01:09:08have I completely sabotaged my career, I'm happy to come clean.
01:09:12Meanwhile, the Desi internet has responded the only way it knows, with memes.
