00:00:16This will be his first visit to Gujarat post Operation Sundoor and a grand welcome has
00:00:21been planned for Prime Minister Modi in Gujarat.
00:00:25So, Prime Minister Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat.
00:00:29From today, he will be inaugurating projects worth Rs. 82,000 crore in Gujarat.
00:00:34My colleague, Brijesh, is now joining us with more details regarding Prime Minister's Gujarat
00:00:40visit and the projects that he will be inaugurating.
00:00:42Brijesh, a very good morning.
00:00:44Tell us more about the projects that the Prime Minister will be inaugurating and also about
00:00:48the roadshow that has been planned.
00:00:51A very good morning to our viewers, Anjali.
00:00:54Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit of Gujarat from 10 am onwards.
00:01:00This will be the first visit to his home state after the Operation Sundoor.
00:01:05So, that's why there are three mega roadshows planned today.
00:01:09Early in Vadodara, where he will land and he will go to Dahod from Vadodara, where he
00:01:16will conduct a two-kilometre long roadshow where he will be welcomed by more than 30,000
00:01:23female workers of BJP and the local public as well.
00:01:28So, there will be a tribute or a kind of a gesture of success of the Operation Sundoor,
00:01:37which will begin from Vadodara and after that PM will move to Dahod, where he will dedicate
00:01:43the almost development works of 24,000 crores, which includes the first locomotive engine,
00:01:51which is made in India and made in Dahod.
00:01:54So, this will be the first part in Dahod around 11.45 am.
00:02:00He will inaugurate, he will dedicate these projects in Dahod.
00:02:05There will be a flag of two, Ahmedabad, Somnath, Vande Bharat as well.
00:02:10So, almost more than 20,000 crores project of railway will be dedicated to the nation
00:02:16in Dahod by Prime Minister.
00:02:18After this, Prime Minister will reach to the Bhuj, where he will hold the roadshow around
00:02:24two kilometres long from Bhuj airport to the place of the public meeting.
00:02:29So, in Bhuj, PM will dedicate the work of almost, development works of almost 53,000
00:02:37crores, which includes many projects related to Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
00:02:43So, these are the two places where he will address a huge gathering of more than 1.5
00:02:49lakh people and will dedicate certain development works to the nation as well.
00:02:55So, these are the two key public places where he will address to the nation, where he will
00:03:01talk about the Operation Sundoor as well, the development works done in Gujarat as well.
00:03:07And in the evening, after 7pm, PM will reach to the Ahmedabad.
00:03:11Before he will go to the Gandhi Nagar, there will be a roadshow of three kilometres long
00:03:16roadshow in Ahmedabad, from Ahmedabad airport to the Indira Bridge Circle, where more than
00:03:2150,000 BJP karikatas will welcome, give a grand welcome to PM Modi.
00:03:27There are a lot of cutouts of Brahmos and Rafale as well.
00:03:32And the success of Operation Sundoor will be a key saga during these all the roadshows,
00:03:38three roadshows today.
00:03:39One more will be tomorrow as well in the Gandhi Nagar.
00:03:43So, this is the power pack schedule of the PM in his two days visit of Gujarat, where
00:03:48he will dedicate more than 82,000 crores of development works.
00:03:51All right, Brijesh.
00:03:52Thank you so much for getting us all those details on Prime Minister's Gujarat visit.
00:03:56We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on this.
00:04:03As BJP leaders continue to draw fire over their controversial remarks, sources tell
00:04:07India Today that during a crucial NDA huddle yesterday, the Prime Minister gave a stern
00:04:12dressing down to BJP motor mouths for their reckless statements.
00:04:16Drawing a Lakshman Rekha, the Prime Minister urged restraint and also advised leaders to
00:04:21steer clear of unnecessary and provocative commentary.
00:04:24Now, this comes in the wake of a series of indecent comments by BJP leaders.
00:04:30BJP MP Ramchandra Jangra triggered an outrage over his comments on the Pahalgam terror attack.
00:04:36Speaking at an event commemorating Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, Jangra claimed that the women who
00:04:41lost their husbands in the Pahalgam attack lacked courage and spirit.
00:04:46He went a step further, saying that had the women fought back instead of pleading with
00:04:51the terrorists, fewer lives might have been lost.
00:04:54And this wasn't a one-off.
00:04:56He repeated the statement.
00:04:58But Ramchandra Jangra wasn't alone.
00:05:00Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah had also faced much flak over his remark on
00:05:05Colonel Sophia Qureshi.
00:05:07At an event, Vijay Shah controversially claimed that the Prime Minister had sent a sister
00:05:11from the same community as those in Pakistan to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
00:05:17However, after backlash, he issued an apology, calling it a linguistic error.
00:05:22And then, there was Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, who sparked
00:05:26a political storm by declaring that the nation, its army and its soldiers had bowed at the
00:05:32feet of Prime Minister Modi for Operation Sindhu.
00:06:26And we're now getting some breaking news on the Operation Sindhu global outreach.
00:06:50BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad's delegation is in France.
00:06:54The MPs will be visiting France, United Kingdom, Germany, European Union, Italy and Denmark.
00:07:00And international partners will be briefed on cross-border terrorism.
00:07:05So, Ravi Shankar Prasad's delegation is in France.
00:07:09And my colleague Shivani Sharma is now joining us with more details on the all-party delegation,
00:07:15particularly this one, which is led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, which has now arrived in France.
00:07:21They will be visiting different countries in Europe.
00:07:23Shivani, over to you. Tell us more about what all is on the agenda.
00:07:53India is very clear about not tolerating terrorism, especially after Pahelgam attack,
00:08:04this effort has been made that all these delegations are moving to different countries, 33 nations.
00:08:08And this is the seventh group, Anjali, that is on an outreach initiative in the wake of Operation Sindhu.
00:08:15That includes several other leaders from across the parties.
00:08:19There is Dr. Amar Singh, Samit Bhattacharya, M.J. Akbar.
00:08:24It also includes Dugubati Puran Deswari.
00:08:27So, this is the delegation with Triyanka Chaturvedi.
00:08:31So, all these leaders along with the Ambassador Pankaj Charan, they are in France.
00:08:35They will be meeting the senators out there.
00:08:37They will be meeting people across the Indian diaspora.
00:08:42They will be meeting the National Assembly leaders also.
00:08:45And think tanks too, Anjali.
00:08:47So, they will be putting India's stance clearly against terrorism.
00:08:51And this is the seventh delegation.
00:08:53Right, Shivani, thank you for getting us those details on the seventh and last delegation
00:08:58that has now arrived in Paris.
00:09:01And India is ramping up its diplomatic offensive to expose Pakistan's role in cross-border terrorism
00:09:08and is gathering significant international support in its global fight against terror.
00:09:12Led by senior political leaders, Indian delegations are engaging with global counterparts
00:09:17to raise awareness about the persistent threat of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
00:09:21AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, part of one such delegation,
00:09:25launched a blistering attack on Pakistan, calling it an aggressor and not a victim.
00:09:30Earlier, NCP MP Supriya Sule led a delegation that met with Qatar's Shura Council,
00:09:35underlining India's unwavering commitment to fighting terror.
00:09:39She said that India is receiving widespread international support in this effort.
00:09:44Another all-party delegation, headed by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha,
00:09:48met with India's ambassador in South Korea to discuss regional security
00:09:52and bolster global counter-terrorism cooperation.
00:09:55Congress leader Salman Khurshid, also part of the delegation,
00:09:59spoke of India's aspiration to be both a Vishwaguru and a Vishwamitra.
00:10:04He also asserted that India has decisively won the narrative war with Operation Sindhu.
00:10:10DMK MP Kanimuri, who led a delegation to Russia, described the visit as positive,
00:10:16noting that Russian lawmakers and opinion makers were receptive to India's viewpoint.
00:10:21As these diplomatic missions unfold,
00:10:23India's campaign to highlight Pakistan's terror links is clearly resonating
00:10:27with a growing number of nations openly backing India's firm stance against terrorism.
00:10:35We have been communicating our objectives.
00:10:39The war with Pakistan is right now in cessation.
00:10:45But the next part is that we must ensure that this doesn't happen again.
00:10:50And the terrorism that Pakistan has indulged in,
00:10:53we have highlighted and given facts and figures to our friends here in Bahrain.
00:10:59There is no tolerance for terrorism anywhere,
00:11:02and that is a good message that we are hearing everywhere.
00:11:06So the outcome of these discussions are something that we are hopeful about.
00:11:12I think it will lead to a situation where Pakistan will increasingly realize
00:11:17they cannot keep doing what they have been doing.
00:11:19It was a very good meeting.
00:11:21In it, the entire group, which is led by Jai Pandya,
00:11:26we supported India.
00:11:29We told them that for years,
00:11:32Pakistan has been terrorizing India with its aided, promoted, trained terrorists.
00:11:40And we gave them all the data on how many people have lost their lives.
00:11:44Pakistan is not a victim. Pakistan is an aggressor.
00:11:46And on April 15, we gave a speech by Asim Munir,
00:11:52who spoke about Kashmir.
00:11:56There was a very good meeting in Doha,
00:11:58and in the delegation, there were very senior and learned MPs.
00:12:03Everyone told them about India's truth,
00:12:07about the attack on India.
00:12:11They gave a very good response.
00:12:14The responsibility of being a nation that is admired in the world,
00:12:19and a nation that is sending out a message to say we want to lead the world,
00:12:24we want to be Vishwaguru, we want to be Vishwamitra.
00:12:29That's a huge responsibility.
00:12:31If you were just in a small, irresponsible state,
00:12:34you could do anything you like, and then hope for the best.
00:12:38But we have an enormous responsibility,
00:12:40and therefore, restraint, responsibility is very, very important.
00:12:45But not at the expense of the defense of our sovereignty and the defense of our people.
00:12:52Russia has always been a very important partner, and they respect us.
00:12:58Our Prime Minister and our External Affairs Minister
00:13:05have spoken to the leaders there,
00:13:09and the President and the Foreign Minister,
00:13:12about what happened in Pahalgam,
00:13:14and they've explained our stand to them already.
00:13:19Russia, the lawmakers there, the opinion makers there, were very receptive.
00:13:24They understood what we had come to communicate,
00:13:28and they promised to stand with us and to fight against terrorism.
00:13:34When we are here for a mission, we are united.
00:13:37And that reflects the syncretic culture of India,
00:13:41which has got rich diversity.
00:13:44Even now, with the convergence here,
00:13:46I could find a Malayali here and a Sardarji here,
00:13:49and somebody from Tamil Nadu.
00:13:51That is what is called India.
00:13:53And we have a constitution, which is a secular constitution,
00:13:56which is a democratic constitution,
00:13:58whereby Pakistan is a theocratic state,
00:14:01which has borne out of religion,
00:14:03which thrives on hate and hatred, bigotry,
00:14:07whereas we have a different trajectory altogether.
00:14:10So our aspirations are entirely different from Pakistan.
00:14:41But this isn't the first show of support from Turkey.
00:14:44During the India-Pakistan conflict,
00:14:47Turkey reportedly supplied nearly 400 drones to Pakistan,
00:14:51including Bayraktar TB2s, YIHA and Songar units
00:14:55used in strikes on Indian military sites.
00:14:58Turkish military advisers were involved in planning those operations,
00:15:01with reports of Turkish personnel killed in action.
00:15:04And when India responded, Erdogan dismissed the strikes as civilian martyrdom,
00:15:09doubling down on Turkey's unwavering support for Pakistan on Kashmir.
00:15:15And my colleague Pranay Upadhyay is now joining us with more details on this.
00:15:19Pranay, a very good morning to you.
00:15:21Tell us more about the meeting that Turkish President
00:15:24and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had,
00:15:27and what message does this send out globally?
00:15:31Good morning, Anjali.
00:15:32And as you could make out, that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,
00:15:36along with Field Marshal Asim Munir,
00:15:38is on a gratitude tour.
00:15:40Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's first international stop
00:15:43on his four-nation tour,
00:15:45which includes Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan, and Turkey,
00:15:48was Istanbul.
00:15:50And in Istanbul, he had a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
00:15:53who is the president of Turkey.
00:15:55And this high-level security cooperation council meeting
00:15:59was taking place there in Istanbul.
00:16:01But you could make out how important Turkey's role was there
00:16:05with Pakistan as far as this India-Pakistan conflict was concerned,
00:16:09because, as you mentioned,
00:16:11Turkey has supplied a great number of drones to Pakistan.
00:16:15And not only drones, but a number of armament of Pakistan.
00:16:20It's credited to Turkey.
00:16:23And Turkey has not only supplied arms and weapons and ammunition
00:16:26to Pakistan, but also gave them moral support
00:16:30in the international platforms.
00:16:33Because, be it OIC, be it United Nations,
00:16:36Turkey has echoed Pakistan's stand on Kashmir,
00:16:41has echoed Pakistan's stand as far as India-Pakistan tensions are concerned.
00:16:46So, therefore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif went to Istanbul,
00:16:49had a meeting with him.
00:16:51And this is a very rare visual, Anjali,
00:16:53that Prime Minister and a Pakistani army chief
00:16:57was there in the meeting with the Turkish president.
00:17:00This clearly shows how important Turkey's role was there
00:17:03in India-Pakistan conflict.
00:17:05And as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself mentioned,
00:17:08that he was there to express his gratitude to President Erdogan
00:17:12for his support in India-Pakistan conflict.
00:17:15And he did not acknowledge Turkey's role in making peace with India.
00:17:21Rather, he acknowledged Turkey's role in supplying arms and ammunition.
00:17:26And they did discuss the defense cooperation,
00:17:29intelligence sharing, counter-terrorism cooperation
00:17:32and economic cooperation with Turkey in this meeting.
00:17:35So, this clearly shows his priorities and Turkey's stand
00:17:38as far as India-Pakistan tensions are concerned,
00:17:41as far as the Kashmir issue is concerned.
00:17:43You would recall, Anjali, that India was one of the first responders
00:17:47during the humanitarian crisis of Turkey
00:17:49when Turkey was hit by a devastating earthquake in 2023.
00:17:53However, we have seen that in return, Turkey did not respond.
00:17:58Turkey did not acknowledge that contribution.
00:18:01Rather, Turkey decided to stand with Pakistan
00:18:05and that too in this conflict which was induced
00:18:09by a ghastly terror attack in Pahalgam and even thereafter.
00:18:21Southwest monsoon makes early entry into Maharashtra.
00:18:25Heavy rains leave Mumbai waterlogged.
00:18:28IMD has also issued heavy rains alert in Mumbai.
00:18:31So, that's the breaking news that's coming in from Mumbai
00:18:34where heavy rains lashed Mumbai and several areas are waterlogged.
00:18:39IMD has also issued heavy rains alert in Mumbai.
00:18:43These are the visuals coming in from Mumbai
00:18:45after heavy rains lashed several parts of the city
00:18:48leaving areas waterlogged causing inconvenience to the residents.
00:18:52Southwest monsoon makes early entry into Maharashtra.
00:18:56Heavy rains lashed Mumbai.
00:18:58Several areas are sinking.
00:19:00They are waterlogged.
00:19:02As you can see in the visuals,
00:19:04IMD meanwhile has issued heavy rains alert in Mumbai.
00:19:23And we're getting some more breaking news.
00:19:25TVK chief has slammed MK Stalin over NITI Aayog meeting.
00:19:28DMK slams TVK chief Vijay for his comments.
00:19:32Tamil Nadu Minister Durai Murugan has attacked Vijay
00:19:35saying that Vijay is a bacha in politics.
00:19:38He goes on to say that Vijay does not know anything.
00:19:42So, after TVK chief attacked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
00:19:45MK Stalin over the NITI Aayog meeting,
00:19:48DMK has hit back at TVK chief Vijay.
00:19:51Tamil Nadu Minister Durai Murugan has said that
00:19:54Vijay is a bacha or a kid in politics
00:19:57and that Vijay does not know anything.
00:20:02Let's listen in.
00:20:04Let's listen in.
00:20:20And my colleague Pramod Madhav is now joining us
00:20:22with more details on this.
00:20:23Pramod, a war of words has erupted between
00:20:26the TVK chief and the DMK.
00:20:29Give us more context to this.
00:20:33A very calculated measure and comment
00:20:36that has been given by the DMK over here
00:20:38because this is the senior leader, Durai Murugan.
00:20:40And what happened yesterday is that
00:20:42after Edapadi K. Paniswamy, the opposition leader
00:20:44has been slamming the DMK chief
00:20:46for going to Delhi NITI Aayog
00:20:48in a way alleging that he only went there
00:20:50afraid of ED and the chief minister was responding to it.
00:20:54Yesterday, it was Vijay who gave almost a three-page statement
00:20:57in which he was alleging that
00:20:59the chief minister's visit was nothing but lobbying
00:21:01and to save the senior leaders and corrupt ministers
00:21:04claiming that they were all tainted with ED scam.
00:21:06However, this is Durai Murugan, the senior leader from DMK.
00:21:10He very categorically asks who made these statements
00:21:13because in DMK there are like three prominent people
00:21:16Aadhav Arjuna, Nirmal Kumar
00:21:18and then you have the leader of the party that is Vijay.
00:21:21And when they said that it was Vijay who made the statement
00:21:23he claims that if he's a bacha in politics
00:21:26he don't know anything.
00:21:27And he once again repeats that he's a bacha in politics
00:21:30and he don't know anything.
00:22:01AIDMK General Secretary has echoed a similar tone
00:22:04and said that Stalin approached BJP with a white umbrella
00:22:07fearing raids from agencies.
00:22:09EPS also alleged that Stalin was forced to attend the NITI Aayog meeting.
00:22:14Meanwhile, Stalin hit back at AIDMK Palani Swami
00:22:17who vouched that his party would never form an alliance
00:22:20with the Saffron Party
00:22:21went running to it to make peace after a single raid by the ED.
00:22:26He also claimed that even AIDMK Kader was not aware
00:22:29about the meeting between EPS and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
00:22:42And External Affairs Minister SJ Shankar speaks to Canadian MP.
00:22:46External Affairs Minister says that India-Canada ties were discussed
00:22:50during the discussion
00:22:51and SJ Shankar speaks with Canadian MP Anita Anand.
00:22:55The Canadian MP has said that Canada is looking forward to work with India.
00:23:01My colleague Pranay is now joining us with more details on this.
00:23:04Pranay, what all was discussed during the discussion
00:23:07between External Affairs Minister SJ Shankar and Anita Anand?
00:23:12This is a high-level contact between India and Canada, Anjali.
00:23:16External Affairs Minister SJ Shankar spoke to Anita Anand
00:23:19who is the new Foreign Minister of Canada.
00:23:23India-Canada relationship has gone through a very rough patch in recent past
00:23:28and therefore this contact becomes important.
00:23:31They did discuss bilateral cooperation between India and Canada
00:23:34which includes economic cooperation, trade and their global security priorities.
00:23:40As far as India's security is concerned,
00:23:43the Khalistani movement and the radical elements which are there in Canada
00:23:50is also a concern.
00:23:51So India did express its concern to the Canadian side
00:23:54and also Canada holds the G7 Presidency this time.
00:23:58So we believe that there could be a subsequent invitation
00:24:02for the Indian Prime Minister
00:24:03because Canada's invitation for India to attend the G7 Summit
00:24:10has not been there as yet
00:24:12but we may have an invitation at a later stage.
00:24:17So therefore this meeting, this contact becomes important
00:24:22because it's a telephonic conversation between the two leaders.
00:24:25And as far as the India-Canada relation is concerned,
00:24:29Canadian side also expressed their desire to improve relations with India
00:24:34and India also wants to have discussions with Canada
00:24:38as far as the G7 contact and reaching out to the international community
00:24:43post-Pahelgam and Operation Sindhu is concerned.
00:24:46So this becomes important actually.
00:24:49Right Pranay. Thank you for getting us those details.
00:24:51So in a bid to reset ties between India and Canada,
00:24:54External Affairs Minister S.J. Shankar held a telephonic conversation
00:24:58with Canada's Foreign Minister Anita Anand.
00:25:08And at the top of this hour, we're getting some breaking news.
00:25:11Shashi Tharoor-led delegation is in America
00:25:14and Tharoor delegation meets Guyana Prime Minister.
00:25:17Tharoor says that they discussed the issues of terrorism with him.
00:25:22So that's the update that is coming in.
00:25:24Shashi Tharoor-led delegation is in the United States.
00:25:27In fact, the delegation met the Guyana Prime Minister
00:25:30and Shashi Tharoor said that they discussed the issues of terrorism with him.
00:25:37My colleague Shivani is now joining us with more details on this
00:25:41but before that, let's listen in to what Shashi Tharoor said.
00:26:11And my colleague Shivani Sharma is with us with more on this story.
00:26:37Shivani, a very good morning to you.
00:26:39What more details are we gathering as far as the meeting of the
00:26:42Shashi Tharoor-led delegation with the Guyana Prime Minister is concerned?
00:27:10with the President of Guyana or the former President of Guyana
00:27:13who is right now the Vice President.
00:27:15And he also said that in the Presidential Palace,
00:27:17there was a lot of discussion not only about the primary goal of the delegation
00:27:21that was to apprise the world about the fight against terror that India is leading
00:27:27and including the designs of Pakistan after Pahelgam
00:27:31but also a number of other opportunities that India can explore with the countries
00:27:35and these Indian companies also have been mentioned out there
00:27:38including agriculture, telecom, banking, highway.
00:27:41So, a lot of opportunity also explored out there
00:27:45and Dr. Shashi Tharoor has put out on X that this was an excellent meeting.
00:27:50Alright Shivani, thank you for getting us all those details
00:27:53on the Shashi Tharoor-led delegation's meeting with the Guyana Prime Minister.
00:27:57So, India is ramping up its diplomatic offensive
00:28:00to expose Pakistan's role in cross-border terrorism
00:28:03and is gathering significant international support in its global fight against terror.
00:28:07Led by senior political leaders,
00:28:09Indian delegations are engaging with global counterparts
00:28:12to raise awareness about the persistent threat of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
00:28:16AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, part of one such delegation,
00:28:20launched a blistering attack on Pakistan,
00:28:22calling it an aggressor and not a victim.
00:28:25Earlier, NCP MP Supriya Sule also led a delegation
00:28:28that met with Qatar's Shura Council,
00:28:31underlining India's unwavering commitment to fighting terror.
00:28:34She said that India is receiving widespread international support in this effort.
00:28:39Another all-party delegation, headed by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha,
00:28:43met with India's ambassador in South Korea
00:28:45to discuss regional security and bolster global counter-terrorism cooperation.
00:28:50Congress leader Salman Khurshid, also part of the delegation,
00:28:53spoke of India's aspiration to be both a Vishwaguru and a Vishwamitra.
00:28:58He also asserted that India has decisively won the narrative war
00:29:02with Operation Sindhur.
00:29:04DMK MP Kanimori, who led a delegation to Russia,
00:29:07described the visit as positive,
00:29:09noting that Russian lawmakers and opinion makers
00:29:12were receptive to India's viewpoint.
00:29:14As these diplomatic missions unfold,
00:29:16India's campaign to highlight Pakistan's terror links
00:29:19is clearly resonating with a growing number of nations
00:29:22openly backing India's firm stance against terrorism.
00:29:27We have been communicating our objectives.
00:29:32The war with Pakistan is right now in cessation.
00:29:38But the next part is that we must ensure that this doesn't happen again.
00:29:43And the terrorism that Pakistan has indulged in,
00:29:46we have highlighted and given facts and figures
00:29:49to our friends here in Bahrain.
00:29:52There is no tolerance for terrorism anywhere,
00:29:54and that is a good message that we are hearing everywhere.
00:29:58So the outcome of these discussions
00:30:01are something that we are hopeful about.
00:30:04I think it will lead to a situation
00:30:06where Pakistan will increasingly realize
00:30:09they cannot keep doing what they have been doing.
00:30:11It was a very good meeting.
00:30:13In that, the entire group,
00:30:15which is led by Jai Pandya,
00:30:18we supported India.
00:30:21We told them how many years
00:30:24Pakistan has been terrorizing India
00:30:27with its aided, promoted, trained terrorists.
00:30:32And how many people have lost their lives.
00:30:34We gave them all the data.
00:30:36Pakistan is not a victim.
00:30:37Pakistan is an aggressor.
00:30:39And on April 15,
00:30:41we gave a speech by Asim Munir
00:30:44about what he said about Kashmir.
00:30:48There was a very good meeting in Doha.
00:30:50There were many senior and learned delegates with us.
00:30:53All of them are MPs.
00:30:55Everyone told them about India's truth,
00:30:59about the attack on India.
00:31:03They gave a very good response.
00:31:06The responsibility of being a nation
00:31:10that is admired in the world,
00:31:12and a nation that is sending out a message
00:31:15to say we want to lead the world,
00:31:17we want to be Vishwaguru,
00:31:20we want to be Vishwamitra.
00:31:22That's a huge responsibility.
00:31:24If you were just in a small irresponsible state,
00:31:27you could do anything you like
00:31:29and then hope for the best.
00:31:31But we have an enormous responsibility
00:31:33and therefore restraint, responsibility
00:31:36is very, very important.
00:31:38But not at the expense of the defense of our sovereignty
00:31:43and the defense of our people.
00:31:45Russia has always been a very important partner
00:31:48and they respect us.
00:31:50Our Prime Minister and our External Affairs Minister
00:31:57have spoken to the leaders there
00:32:01and the President and the Foreign Minister
00:32:05about what happened in Pahalgam
00:32:07and they've explained our stand to them already.
00:32:11Russia, the lawmakers there, the opinion makers there
00:32:15were very receptive.
00:32:17They understood what we had come to communicate
00:32:21and they promised to stand with us
00:32:24and to fight against terrorism.
00:32:27When we are here for a mission, we are united.
00:32:30And that reflects the syncretic culture of India
00:32:34which has got rich diversity.
00:32:37Even now with the convergence here,
00:32:39you find a Malayali here and a Sardarji here
00:32:42and somebody from Tamil Nadu.
00:32:44That is what is called India.
00:32:46And we have a constitution which is a secular constitution,
00:32:49which is a democratic constitution
00:32:51whereby Pakistan is a theocratic state
00:32:54which is born out of religion,
00:32:56which thrives on hate and hatred, bigotry,
00:32:59whereas we have a different trajectory altogether.
00:33:03So our aspirations are entirely different from Pakistan.
00:33:07And now let us understand the purpose
00:33:10of this global diplomatic outreach by India.
00:33:13So the first aspect is to brief the key nations
00:33:17on the Pahalgam terror attack
00:33:19and to also explain India's military response
00:33:22through Operation Sindhu globally
00:33:25and to highlight the targeting of terror camps
00:33:28in Pakistan as well as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
00:33:32It is also being done to present a unified front
00:33:35by involving ruling and opposition leaders.
00:33:38And it also shows national consensus
00:33:41on combating terrorism that the nation stands united
00:33:45to also refute Pakistan's dismissive narrative
00:33:49regarding India's actions
00:33:51as far as Operation Sindhu is concerned,
00:33:53to also emphasize India's commitment
00:33:56to countering cross-border terrorism
00:33:58and to push for stronger international actions
00:34:01against Pakistan-based terror groups.
00:34:04It is also being done to urge Pakistan's graylisting
00:34:08by Financial Action Task Force.
00:34:10So this is the purpose
00:34:11of this whole global diplomatic outreach
00:34:14that is being done by India
00:34:16by sending all party delegations.
00:34:18Well, with that, we're now shifting focus.
00:34:20We are getting some breaking news.
00:34:30New images of Indian strike impact.
00:34:33Satellite images show Pakistan Mureed Air Base
00:34:36damages on camera.
00:34:38Roof collapse, likely internal damages also.
00:34:42Images from May 11 show damage
00:34:44to Pakistan's Mureed Air Base.
00:34:47These are the visuals on your screens right now.
00:34:49The satellite images show that there was damage
00:34:52that was caused to the Mureed Air Base.
00:34:55So this is the evidence of how India targeted the air base
00:35:01and that there was enough damage
00:35:03that was caused to the air base
00:35:04that has been captured by these satellite images.
00:35:07So these new images have surfaced
00:35:09of the Indian strike impact on the Pakistani air bases.
00:35:13These satellite images show
00:35:15that Pakistan's Mureed Air Base was in fact damaged
00:35:18and there was a roof collapse
00:35:20and there were likely internal damages also
00:35:23because of India's attack.
00:35:25And these are the images from May 11
00:35:27and that show clearly that there was damage
00:35:30that was caused to Pakistan's Mureed Air Base.
00:35:32These are the visuals,
00:35:34the satellite images of Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:35:37in which you can see that there was clear damage
00:35:39that was caused, a roof collapse happened
00:35:42and it is also likely that there were internal damages
00:35:45as well to the air base.
00:35:50So these are the fresh visuals and images
00:35:52that have surfaced of the Pakistan's Mureed Air Base.
00:35:55These images are from May 11
00:35:57and these are the satellite images
00:35:59of Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:36:01that clearly show that there was significant damage
00:36:04that was caused to Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:36:08after India attacked Pakistan's air bases
00:36:11under Operation Sindoor
00:36:13that was a counterattack by India
00:36:16after the 22 April Pehelgam attack.
00:36:19But in these images it can be clearly seen
00:36:21that there was significant damage
00:36:23that was caused to the Pakistani air bases.
00:36:25Remember, Pakistan claims that there was no damage
00:36:29that was caused due to India's attacks
00:36:32but in these images it can be clearly seen
00:36:35that there was enough damage that was caused.
00:36:38In fact, the roof collapse is clear
00:36:40and it is also likely that there were internal damages
00:36:44also that were caused to the Mureed Air Base in Pakistan.
00:36:47So these are the satellite images from May 11
00:36:50that show damage to Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:36:54contrary to what was being claimed by the Pakistani side.
00:36:57They were saying that there was no major damage
00:37:01that was caused to their air bases
00:37:03due to the attack from India's side
00:37:06under Operation Sindoor.
00:37:08In fact, my colleague Pranay Upadhyay
00:37:10is now joining us with more details on this.
00:37:12Pranay, in the satellite images
00:37:14it can be clearly seen that there was significant damage
00:37:17that was caused to Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:37:20contrary to what was being claimed by the Pakistani side.
00:37:48Right from Skardu Base in Girgit Baltistan
00:37:51up to Jacobabad and Bulari bases in Sindh region.
00:37:54All the frontline bases of Pakistan
00:37:57have suffered major damage under Operation Sindoor strikes
00:38:02on 10th of May.
00:38:04And this image which we are showing on the screen
00:38:07of 11th of May clearly shows
00:38:09what kind of damage suffered by what kind of damage
00:38:12the Mureed Air Base of Pakistan has suffered.
00:38:16And this clearly shows that the command and control centre
00:38:19of Pakistan Air Force Base
00:38:21was taken out by the Indian strike.
00:38:23That was a precision strike.
00:38:25No civilian damage.
00:38:26No collateral damage.
00:38:28This clearly shows the might
00:38:30and the efficiency of Indian Air Force
00:38:33in carrying out such kind of surgical precision strikes.
00:38:36So Pakistan might be claiming.
00:38:38Pakistan might be creating this camouflage for its own people.
00:38:43But now people of Pakistan are also asking question
00:38:46that General Asim Munir might have elevated himself
00:38:50as Field Marshal.
00:38:51But they have miserably failed
00:38:53in protecting Pakistan's military interests
00:38:55as well as the Pakistan's civilian interests.
00:38:58Absolutely Pranay.
00:38:59Thank you so much for getting us all those details
00:39:02on the satellite images of Pakistan's Mureed Air Base
00:39:05that make it clear that there was in fact
00:39:08significant damage that was caused
00:39:10to the Pakistan Mureed Air Base.
00:39:14And as BJP leaders continue to draw fire
00:39:17over their controversial remarks,
00:39:19sources tell India Today
00:39:20that during a crucial NDA huddle,
00:39:22the Prime Minister gave a stern dressing down
00:39:24to BJP motor mouths for their reckless statements.
00:39:27Drawing a Lakshman Rekha,
00:39:28the Prime Minister urged restraint
00:39:30and also advised leaders to steer clear
00:39:32of unnecessary and provocative commentary.
00:39:35BJP MP Ramchandra Jangra triggered an outrage
00:39:39over his comments on the Pahelgam terror attack.
00:39:42Speaking at an event commemorating Devi Ahilyabai Holkar,
00:39:45Jangra claimed that the women
00:39:47who lost their husbands in the attack
00:39:49lacked courage and spirit.
00:39:51He also went a step further,
00:39:52saying that had the women fought back
00:39:54instead of pleading with the terrorists,
00:39:56fewer lives might have been lost.
00:39:58And this wasn't one-off.
00:40:00He repeated the statement.
00:40:02Remember, earlier Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah
00:40:05had also faced much criticism
00:40:06over his remark on Colonel Sophia Qureshi.
00:40:09However, after the backlash,
00:40:10he issued an apology,
00:40:12calling it a linguistic error.
00:41:09And now shifting focus,
00:41:23Prime Minister Modi is on a two-day visit
00:41:25to his home state, Gujarat.
00:41:27This marks the Prime Minister's first visit to Gujarat

01:09:29Neeti Iyog cited
01:09:33IMF data data
01:09:35which shows
01:09:37India has
01:09:39edged past Japan.
01:09:41India has edged past Japan.
01:09:43We are the fourth largest
01:09:45economy
01:09:47It's a matter of another two, two and a half to three years, we would become the third
01:09:51largest economy.
01:09:55The Modi government is now aiming to overtake Germany and be the third largest economy in
01:10:00another three years.
01:10:03This will see it entering the super elite 5 trillion economy club.
01:10:08With India leaping over the $4 trillion mark, the US, China and Germany are now the only
01:10:13three economies larger than India.
01:10:17The US boasts a $30.5 trillion economy, followed by China at $19.23 trillion and Germany sits
01:10:25just ahead of India at $4.7 trillion, a gap that is rapidly shrinking.
01:10:33Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly vowed to take India to the number three position
01:10:38in the global fiscal ladder.
01:10:40Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his third term, has given India the guarantee to become
01:10:51the third largest economy in the world, and Modi's guarantee, that is, the guarantee
01:11:07to become the third largest economy in the world.
01:11:12But the opposition claims that GDP is not the most accurate representation of India's
01:11:17economic rise.
01:11:19Hunger and poverty alleviation are crucial too.
01:11:22The economy is understood by the common man only when there is progress and happiness
01:11:29in every household.
01:11:30So, a brilliant development of, you know, the Reserve Bank of India giving a bonus to
01:11:49the government of India, a dividend to the government of India was to be 2.7 lakh rupees.
01:11:53That really is a very good indicator of how good and how healthy the economy is going.
01:11:58The government has, in fact, managed to put inflation under check, it has managed to,
01:12:03in fact, you know, reaching out to the GDP levels also on very healthy levels.
01:12:10While India has made rapid progresses, will the raging tariff wars and geopolitical flux
01:12:15make its onward journey more challenging?
01:12:19With Chetan Bhutani, Bureau Report, India Today.
01:12:22Well, with that, it's a wrap on this bulletin.
