Speaker Johnson says the Big Beautiful Bill will pass when House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) stops talking.

00:02If Hakeem will stop talking, we'll get the job done for the American people.

00:07It takes a lot longer to build a lie than to tell the truth,

00:10so he's really spinning a long tail in there.

00:12But we're excited. The people will see the effect of this bill.

00:15The sooner we can get to it, the sooner the Democrats will stop talking,

00:18we'll get this bill done for the people, and we're really excited about it.

00:21So I'm ready to roll.

00:23I'm going to take my time and ensure that the American people fully understand

00:32how damaging this bill will be to their quality of life.

00:37This reckless Republican budget is an immoral document,

00:42and everybody should vote no against it

00:47because of how it attacks children and seniors

00:53and everyday Americans and people with disabilities.

00:57It's a crime scene.

00:59Going after the health and the safety

01:02and the well-being of the American people,

01:04and Mr. Speaker, we want no part of it.
