00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

00:04I greet in a special way this morning all those who take part in Operation Storm Heaven.

00:11We affectionately call the Rosary Warriors, those who are offering every day the prayer of the Holy Rosary

00:19for the needs of the Church of the world in these times in which there is so much turmoil,

00:26so much rebellion before God, and so much need of His forgiveness and healing grace

00:33which He gives to us in the Church from His most sacred heart.

00:39I thank especially the Rosary Warriors for the wonderful spiritual bouquet

00:45which was presented to me on the occasion of my 50th anniversary by Thomas McKenna.

00:56The head of the Operation Storm Heaven, I'm deeply grateful to you for your prayers

01:01and I urge you to continue to pray for me.

01:05We begin today the month of the most precious blood of Jesus

01:10celebrating the feast of His most precious blood.

01:14We know our Lord bled profusely throughout His passion,

01:19the terrible scourging at the pillar, crowning with thorns,

01:23but the ultimate sign of the outpouring of His entire being for us

01:32was after He had died on the cross, He committed His side to be pierced,

01:37His heart to be pierced by the spear of the Roman soldier Longinus,

01:41and St. John is careful to report their poured forth in abundance, water and blood.

01:51This He wanted us to have as a perpetual sign

01:56that He would be always alive for us,

02:01having offered His life on the cross.

02:03He conquered death, He rose from the dead,

02:09He's seated at the right end of the Father,

02:11and He never ceases to pour forth from this glorious, pierced heart,

02:16the water and blood, the sacraments,

02:19especially the Baptist and the Holy Eucharist,

02:21the water and blood of His sanctifying grace,

02:24and also of innumerable actual graces by which we've given Him.

02:30We draw closer to Him day by day along our perfect pilgrimage to our home in heaven.

02:38The blood of Jesus, of course, is a very powerful sign.

02:43It's His heart itself in which the blood flows.

02:47We speak of His blood as the price of our redemption.

02:51The outpouring of His life is what was necessary for us to be restored to life,

03:00to be restored to communion with God already on this earth,

03:05but then the perfection of that communion at death

03:08and with its consummation on the last day.

03:14And so in worshiping the sacred blood of Jesus,

03:17we worship our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, God incarnate,

03:21God who, God the Son, who cooked our human nature,

03:26united it to His divine nature,

03:28and so the divine person of the Trinity, God the Son,

03:36shed His blood, gave His full, being His whole life for our eternal redemption.

03:42Let us, in a special way, pray during this month

03:46that the sanctifying grace represented by the blood of Jesus

03:54will cleanse our souls of all sin,

03:59will purify our souls,

04:01and at the same time will fill our souls with that sevenfold gift of the Holy Spirit

04:08by which we love God with our whole mind and heart,

04:12our whole being,

04:13and we love our neighbor as ourselves,

04:18especially our neighbor who is most who most need.

04:22Rejoicing in the precious blood of our Lord Jesus,

04:25which we adore in a special way today,

04:29let us give ourselves more and more to Him.

04:32He waits for us.

04:34His Virgin Mother draws us every day

04:39in a very particular way in this holy place to Him.

04:43Let us give ourselves completely to Him.

04:47In the name of the God,

04:48and of the Son,

04:49and of the Holy Spirit.

04:50Amen.
