00:00So, I guess that's a question, Rawia.
00:03You know, another meeting, third time to the White House.
00:07We're seeing no let-up in Gaza at the moment.
00:10Is this actually going to progress towards a ceasefire?
00:14Lots of talk about it.
00:15We all hope so, of course.
00:17It's definitely seen as a significant opportunity to get the deal done
00:21and make progress towards this ceasefire.
00:24But let's look at the facts because that's the success of such talks
00:29in reaching a ceasefire is definitely not guaranteed.
00:31First of all, President Trump is definitely eager, as you said,
00:35and he said he will be firm.
00:36He is putting some pressure on Netanyahu and on the Israeli government
00:41because he sees that if he secures this ceasefire,
00:44he will see it as a major foreign policy win or achievement for him.
00:50He also said that he was hoping that they will reach such a ceasefire within a week.
00:55But also, we also have senior Israeli officials,
00:59including the Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer,
01:02who has already travelled to the U.S.
01:05He has already been laying the ground for Netanyahu's visit.
01:09And that, I think, signals some seriousness on the part of the Israelis.
01:13But there are a few obstacles as well.
01:15Now, you have divisions, deep, deep divisions within the Israeli government.
01:19You have voices that are completely against a ceasefire
01:23and ending the war, like Benذir and Smutrich.
01:25And also, you have Hamas.
01:27Hamas has definitely signalled its willingness to release the hostages if the war ends,
01:33but it definitely refuses to disarm.
01:35This is a police officer.
01:36You have the rule of the U.S.
01:37and the newly alum of the U.S.
01:39and the Turkishucher.
01:40And the U.S.
01:41and the U.S.
01:42And I hope you will get a little bit more to this result.
01:43And I'll say,
01:44let's talk about this and I'll say what the U.S.
01:45and the U.S.
01:46and the U.S.
01:47is to disarm.
