00:00There have been talks in Doha, which are ongoing, and we're still no breakthrough. So, you know, in the background, there's still talks slowly happening. But once again, the main sticking point does remain the release of the hostages. And we did see Eden Alexander be released, the last US Israeli hostage on Donald Trump's visit.
00:22So I wonder if now it's really up to the US to start putting pressure on Israel and on Hamas to make sure that we get to some sort of resolution. Because as you said, a year and seven months just can't carry on.
00:35Yes, yes. I think definitely without the US pressure, nothing is going to happen and nothing is going to change in this equation, if you want. No UN resolutions, no pressure from any other countries, any other country. It is the US that calls the shots here.
00:52But also we have to bear in mind that one person has the biggest benefit of this war continuing, which is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will lose power as soon as the war ends.
01:05And he is going to face, you know, charges in court, possibly being imprisoned. So, you know, the pressure has to be really, really serious in order to get this going.
