00:12The hack exposed names, contact details, birth dates and frequent flyer numbers
00:17though the airline insists safety and flight operations remain unaffected.
00:20Qantas says the breach occurred through a third-party call center platform
00:24and responded swiftly after detecting suspicious activity.
00:27While the airline has not identified the attacker, the FBI recently warned of a hacker group known as Scattered Spider targeting global airlines.
00:34Cybersecurity experts including Mandiant urge all carriers to remain on high alert.
