In a development in the case of three people found dead in a house in Taman Bukit Kristal, Seremban, police have discovered a note asking anyone who finds the remains to call a church and have the bodies claimed.

In the note, written in English, the full names and identity card numbers of the deceased were listed: a 61-year-old man, his 59-year-old wife, and their 29-year-old son.

The writer of the note also provided the contact number of the church, in the heart of the city.

00:32Seremban OCPD Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Hatta Chedin said a police team was sent to
00:37the house in Taman Bukit Cristal at 5 p.m. on Tuesday after they received a report from
00:43a neighbour complaining of a stench.
00:46After cutting open the padlock, they found three decomposing bodies in two bedrooms.
00:52A forensic examination found a cut on the right arm of the son while the parents' bodies
00:57did not show any suspicious signs.
01:00Police also found four knives with bloodstains and various types of medicines on a table in
01:05the living room.
01:07Police have classified the case as sudden death reports for now, pending the findings of a
01:12post-mortem at Hospital Rembau.

01:28Earlier Wednesday morning, police forensic and medical teams returned to the unit to look

01:34A car belonging to the family was also seen parked along the road.
01:39It is learnt that the family had been renting the unit for about four years and kept to themselves.
