00:00Okay, so hypothetically, a year from now, where does he go? Because he's going to sit around like
00:06if I were him, literally, I'd be smoking fatties and counting that money that's coming in while
00:12he's going to rehab every day for the Achilles. I mean, let's face facts. What a deal. They're
00:19going to pay him $22 million to do nothing. And then they're going to pay his whole deal
00:29and he can go wherever he wants. I mean, this guy's got Shangri-La.
00:34Well, I think that's what's going to happen is he's going to have his places of where he wants to go.
00:40So what about in a year from now? If Boston doesn't win the title, does he take a minimum
00:43and go to Boston to be the point guard of the Celtics? Does he look at a team like Miami
00:48where he originally wanted to go back a while ago? I don't know. If LeBron is still in LA,
00:54does he go to the Lakers and he ring chases? So to me, it's going to be really interesting.
00:58Dave's going to have his list of suitors. But, Farrell, listen, coming back, I don't think people
01:03understand this. Coming back from Achilles is harder than an ACL. It is the most debilitating
01:11injury. And especially if he has a point guard, he's got to cut, pivot, ball screens, different
01:17actions. It's going to be extremely hard for Dave to come back and be where he was. But
01:23listen, Farrell, with his talent, some contending team will take a chance on him and he'll be able
01:28to pick his suitor. So he can go play with LeBron when LeBron's, he'll be what, 75 years old next
01:35year? When he plays another season, a 24 season, he'll be 75. He'll be in his golden anniversary
01:41year. 75 years old is what he'll be if he plays another. He's playing this year, 23. Then he's going to
01:47play another one. And he's going to play with a guy with a torn Achilles. I mean, what is next?
01:54Well, I'll tell you this, Farrell. I think the LeBron James thing is something that we're going to have
01:58to watch. OK, because at the end of the day, number one, he likes drama, right? He signed the
02:04extension. No, he didn't. He wants to be in L.A. He wants to see what happens. I mean, so to me,
02:08and the Lakers, they need a big. Where's the big? I mean, guys are going all over the place.
02:14I mean, Jordan Valanciunas got traded. Mason Pumley re-signed. Miles Turner. All these bigs
02:18are going all over the place. So unless they get a Mitchell Robson, which they won't, a Nick Claxton,
02:23maybe. Where are the Lakers getting a big? Why haven't they done a deal with Aiden?
02:28Well, that would be a sneaky one to look at. Listen, Farrell, I was the number one fan on Sports
02:35Grid of the DeAndre Aiden fan club. And he's been a disappointment. But I'll tell you this much,
02:40Farrell. He's too young. He's too athletic. If he ever got the right coaches, and I said this,
02:45he was dominant in game one of the finals against Milwaukee. And everything went south after game
02:51two. I really think that DeAndre Aiden in the right spot can get you 12 points and eight rebounds
02:57a game. I mean, he's better than Jackson Hayes. He's better than Rory Hachimura. So yeah,
03:03DeAndre Aiden will have a home. It's just a matter of can they unlock that talent, Farrell? Because you
03:08gotta admit, there is talent. What the nominating when he doesn't denominate.
