00:00Here is how the West now looks after those results last night.
00:04The Lakers will be in the top six no matter what.
00:07They need another win to make sure that they're in the three spot.
00:11Denver's now the four.
00:12Clippers now the five.
00:13They're both 48-32.
00:16Memphis is 47-32.
00:19Golden State's 47-33.
00:22Minnesota's 46-33.
00:24So obviously Memphis and Minnesota, they have the extra game to play tonight,
00:28which is actually against each other, which we'll get to in a moment.
00:33So they will then all have two games left.
00:37Everyone plays Friday and Sunday.
00:39How about the Lakers?
00:39What, are they going to play Memphis?
00:41I mean, you talk about easy work.
00:44They'll kill them.
00:45Look, you know, Minnesota beats Memphis tonight,
00:49and suddenly I think Memphis falls to the eight.
00:51You know, I think that there's still so much that can happen
00:56over these last couple of games in terms of the jockeying of position.
01:01Right.
01:02You know, but that's, you know, three's where you want to be.
01:05I told you before.
01:06It sets up the six, Houston, and then no OKC to the West Final.
01:10So that's, I think, the primo spot out of where all these other teams are dealing with.
01:18That's for sure.
01:19All right, the Eastern Conference.
01:21I think the Rockets will actually beat them.
01:23And I think that it'll, I said this yesterday.
01:26I know that the Lakers are LeBron and Luka, super dangerous.
01:32I actually do believe that the Rockets are better than them.
01:36And I think the Rockets and Thunder, in my opinion,
01:40now I think the Hollywood script is Lakers, Thunder for the West.
01:45I think the better series, believe it or not, for my money,
01:49is those two young teams going end to end, up and down, all day, every day.
01:54That will be the best seven-game series ever.
01:57Now, if it's the Lakers, I think they can, you know,
02:02they can obviously beat anybody.
02:04But, you know, they're going to slow it down, in my view,
02:07and make it a half-court game.
02:09And I'd rather watch, frankly, I hate to say it, I think Luka's great,
02:13but I'd rather watch the Rockets and Thunder go up and down
02:16and just go off on each other.
02:18Seriously, is what I want to see in the Western Final.
02:22As far as the East goes, Magic did beat the Celtics,
02:26who sat everybody last night by 20, 96-76.
02:30You sent me this clip from Tatum.
02:32Here he is saying that the Celtics are not defending their title this year.
02:37Nobody can take that title last year away from them.
02:40Are you guys kind of itching to defend that title?
02:45Defend the title?
02:47No, not defend it, you know.
02:49Can't nobody take away what we did last year, winning the champs.
02:52In 2024, this is a new season, new year.
02:55Trying to go win another championship.
03:00What's the difference?
03:01You know, he's...
03:02You are the defending champs, moron.
03:05I mean, that's the bottom line.
03:06You're defending your title.
03:07You're going...
03:08Like, my team just won back-to-back.
03:11Like, that's what it is.
03:12You win back-to-back, you win back-to-back.
03:14You're defending your title when you're the champs.
03:16There's no other way of describing it.
03:17He's trying to give me some kind of Duke philosophy here.
03:20What is happening?
03:21Like, there's no other way around it.
03:23That's pretty much what he was trying to do there.
03:25By the way, his shoes are made too big.
03:27I told you, the 12s are 12 and a half.
03:30I can't take it anymore.
03:33You know, watch my heels slip in his shoes.
03:35This is $220 shoes that are too big.
03:38They say 12.
03:39They should say 12 and a half, bro.
03:40They're too big.
03:41But they stretch him at the factory.
03:44The Magic did clinch the 7 seed.
03:46The Bulls beat the Heat 119-111.
03:48Giddy had a triple-double 28-16 and 11.
03:52He's in good shape.
