NASA will begin streaming its live programming, including rocket launches, spacewalks, and Earth views, on Netflix this summer. The move expands public access beyond the ad-free NASA app and website, according to CNBC. NASA+ launched in 2023 to broaden access to space exploration, and the new Netflix deal aligns with its mission to share its story globally. NASA did not disclose financial details. The partnership comes amid a surge in commercial rocket launches, led by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. SpaceX has completed 81 launches in the first half of 2025 and remains the only U.S. company certified to transport astronauts to the International Space Station. Netflix shares, up nearly 51% year-to-date, are trading at all-time highs.
