Royals attend ceremony celebrating 25th annivesary of Øresund Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden

00:00The iconic Ørsund bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden turned 25 years on Tuesday.
00:07It called for an elaborate celebration that was attended by both countries' royals.
00:12Every day an average of over 100.000 passengers travel across the bridge by car or by train.
00:18But beyond that, the bridge also represents a symbolic connection of cooperation in the region.
00:24It creates a strong connection and a positive development in the Ørsund region.
00:30And the region is probably one of the strongest connected regions on the opposite of the border.
00:37The labour market is growing. Many Danish companies want to recruit on the Swedish side.

00:50As part of the celebration, Denmark's King Frederick and Queen Mary, as well as Sweden's King Carl Gustaf and Queen Sylvia met on the Swedish side of the bridge.
