SpaceX Crew Dragon Launch: NASA, Elon Musk Make History As A Private Firm Puts Astronauts Into Space

Elon Musk’s SpaceX and NASA astronauts made history on May 30, 3:22 pm ET as the Falcon 9 rocket carrying Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken launched successfully from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, U.S. After the successful launch of the Dragon capsule into orbit, the astronauts are on a 19 hour journey to the International Space Station. Hurley and Behnken are expected to reach the ISS at around 10:30ET on Sunday, May 31. This launch has made history in American space exploration as SpaceX has successfully become the first private company to send astronauts to the space station.
