00:00Elsewhere last night, Phillies beat the Padres 4-0.
00:04We got a couple of bell ringings last night.
00:06Why don't we get this one involved here.
00:08NBC Sports Philly for Nick Castellanos ringing the bell.
00:12Ding, ding.
00:13Lines that one to deep left field.
00:14Does it have enough height?
00:15It does!
00:17Sola home run!
00:18Swung at the first pit.
00:19He sure did.
00:21It's his 10th home run of the year.
00:24And the Phillies are on top 4-0.
00:27Springer just hit a home run off of Freed Chicken.
00:32It's 2-1.
00:34Did he get injured last night and he's out there hitting home runs today?
00:38He did.
00:39I guess he was okay.
00:41Also last night in that game, Zach Wheeler, 8 innings, 6 hits, no runs, 10 Ks.
00:46What a month of June he had.
00:47A 0.58 in the month of June for the Phillies as he was outstanding.
00:54I wanted to give you this too because I saw it last night
00:56and I thought it was interesting.
00:57Harper came back last night.
00:58Remember he had that wrist injury a couple weeks ago.
01:01He was on the IL.
01:03It kind of sounds to me like it's still a problem.
01:08And I don't know if he like just, he kind of says it wasn't getting anywhere,
01:12but he doesn't seem very confident that this injury has gone away
01:17even though he's come off the IL.
01:18Yeah, I didn't think I was going to take any other steps forward of feeling better
01:24or anything like that.
01:25I thought we were kind of at a standstill of it feeling the same the last couple days
01:30and, you know, from VP to live and things like that kind of gave us the same results each day.
01:37So, I thought today was a good one.
01:40Is it something you're going to have to manage, though, in your mind?
01:43Yeah, I mean, I would imagine so.
01:45I'm not sure yet what that's going to feel like.
01:48So, we're going to, you know, as I go, I think, and as I know you guys will,
01:53and Tomper as well.
01:55So, we'll see, you know, how I feel tonight, tomorrow.
02:00I have no idea what just happened there.
02:03I really, he did look a little bit like a walrus.
02:06He really sounds like it's still bothering him is what it sounds to me.
02:10And I don't know if he felt pressure to come back because the offense has been sputtering
02:14a little bit with him out of it or what.
02:16But you know what usually happens then, Scotty?
02:19He hurts it again, worse.
02:21That's usually what happens when you come back too soon.
02:24Hopefully, that doesn't.
02:25Well, it would be a shame.
02:27That's for sure.
02:28Let's go next to the Buccos, who are on fire right now.
02:33Can you believe it?
02:34The Pittsburgh Pirates, 7-0 blanking of the Cardinals last night.
02:39They moved this Spencer Horowitz up into the leadoff spot.
02:44He homered to start the game.
02:46Clearing the bases in his second at-bat, Sportsnet Pittsburgh.
02:50Last year, the big league level with Toronto.
02:53He hits this hard to left.
02:55And this is going to travel over the head of Brendan Donovan.
02:59And this will score a couple of runs.
03:01Spencer Horowitz is the Pirates' leadoff hitter.
03:07Homer and a two-run double and a 3-0 lead.
03:13I can't even believe it because I just want to say how bad he sucks, truly, as a player.
03:19Like, this guy, they got him.
03:21Listen, they actually sold us that they got this guy because of his bat.
03:28And he's got two home runs the whole year.
03:34Like, two home runs.
03:36I mean, I'd hit two home runs.
03:40I mean, how do you sign a guy for his bat and he has two home runs?
03:46Now, last night he had a home run and a double.
03:48I mean, it's like a miracle from heaven.
03:50It really is.
03:51Because every time I watch, like, that guy bat, now two things have happened this year.
03:56I actually, I saw Henry Davis have a hit on this show live one day.
04:02It was the first time that's ever happened, that I've ever seen him actually have a hit.
04:05And then the other day, he went four for four in a game.
04:08And I literally, I didn't eat food the whole day that day when he went four for four.
04:14I gave my dinner up to the poor down the street in Hell's Kitchen.
04:19I just let him have my dinner because it was the first time I ever saw that guy have four hits.
04:22And now I've seen Spencer Horowitz hit his second home run.
04:27I mean, it is, it really is a Christmas miracle in July.
04:30July 1st, a Christmas miracle.
