00:00Let's just start with this on Aldrich.
00:01Are we looking at the future of golf right here?
00:04Well, this is exactly the type of player that you would think would be able to contend in PGA Tour events, you know, quickly as a young player, a player that has tons and tons of speed and confidence.
00:16And it was funny, you know, when we previewed this incoming class with James Nittes, as we do every year, he was most looking forward to seeing how Aldrich Potkeeter would play.
00:27The guy that would have just slipped into this class, getting up and down at the last hole to get his PGA Tour card.
00:33But he said he had the most upside.
00:35And the reason was because of his distance off the tee, I got to see it firsthand watching him play in Mexico this year and really should have walked away winning that event.
00:45Something that he needs to really improve on in this game.
00:48If you go look at his stats, you go watch him play.
00:51He's been in contention multiple times this year.
00:53And I think everybody's takeaway is really, really good player.
00:56But man, now you need a little chipping lesson from old Charlie Hume.
01:01That's that's where we're kind of at there, right?
01:04You go to my backyard, you know, got the green back there.
01:06We can do it all.
01:07So I think when it's it's interesting when the matchups in a golf swing, for instance, you know, you typically see really, really good wedge players and chippers have weak grips, cup wrists.
01:20Like, let's just use, for instance, like a Brian Harmon as an example.
01:24Like they'll have more wrist hinge in their golf swing and not quite as good for the longer stuff.
01:32Not to say that, like, Brian isn't a really good ball striker because he is.
01:35But a very, very good wedge player and a very, very good around the green.
01:40It's like Patrick Reed just went on live this week.
01:42That's another prime example of a player whose matchups make to be a very good short iron player, wedge player.
01:48Not as quite as good at the top of the bag.
01:51OK, let's reverse this.
01:53Aldrich Pock Eater, much more of a body rotation, like wrist set type of deal.
01:58And I think he's still learning how to get the matchups in and around the green to have all the shots and go to work.
