00:042026 class let's talk about the three players you need to know and where things stand today

00:17it's going to be a very busy week into the weekend obviously it's a holiday week

00:23with July 4th just on the horizon here but Notre Dame recruiting in the 2026 class

00:29obviously doesn't stop and Caden Finley who is a wide receiver out of Aledo Texas the

00:34son of former Texas Longhorn and Green Bay Packers star tight end Jermichael Finley will be kicking

00:40off the holiday weekend on July 4th where he will be selecting between Notre Dame Texas and Texas A&M

00:48I've not been bashful to talk about how important I think this one is for the fighting Irish he

00:54obviously he's a great player over 1,400 yards 21 touchdown receptions as a junior for Aledo

00:59but more than anything this is the combination of high floor high ceiling wide receivers I think

01:05Notre Dame needs to be getting more of obviously into the near future as the passing game hopefully

01:10takes the next step under offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock he makes his decision on July 4th the day

01:17after July 5th Notre Dame is hoping to get some more good news when Devin Fitzgerald out of Brophy prep

01:23which does sound very familiar Phoenix Arizona of course the high school of Cree Thomas and also

01:28Benjamin Morrison second round pick in the 2025 NFL draft by the TBA Buccaneers Devin Fitzgerald the

01:34son of former NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald six foot two 185 190 pounds somewhere in that ballpark

01:42this young man is very interesting because he's viewed as kind of a little bit of a late bloomer

01:47but he's got a great catch radius really strong hands he would be a good depth piece potentially to

01:52this wide receiver group he's going to be picking between Notre Dame Clemson and Stanford also like

01:59where the fighting Irish are and then the one that just got moved up it was originally July 20th but

02:04now going to be on July 6th this weekend Braden Robinson star wide receiver out of the state of Texas as

02:11well Red Oak High School to be exact now he's a diminutive slot receiver five foot eight 160

02:17pounds but I think this player is very important to this Notre Dame class because if they do get

02:21Caden Finley which I expect as of today that Notre Dame is going to land Caden Finley this week

02:27it is very important to make sure that you have great depth behind the number one wide receiver in

02:32your class you have Bubba Frazier who's a very talented receiver I like a ton Dylan Faison if you land

02:37Devin Fitzgerald that's a good depth piece but potentially a number two receiver behind Caden

02:42Finley I think that's what either Bubba Frazier or a player like Braden Robinson can be now although

02:49he's smaller he's incredibly productive also over 1,400 yards as a junior but he's just dynamic with

02:56the ball in his hand this is a after catch gadget type can return kicks can return punts he can do a

03:01little bit of everything and I think that Notre Dame has a good chance to have the clean sweep three

03:06straight days three straight wide receiver commitments and it would be a huge one for Mike

03:11Brown to really begin to silence the doubters and that was me included in those doubters here for a

03:18while wide receiver recruiting folks I want you to put into the chat right now which of those three

03:23between Finley Fitzgerald and Robinson are you most excited about who's the most underrated player in

03:29that group give me some thoughts do check out their film strengths weaknesses just overall opinions of
