00:00I think Cora's getting into a tenuous spot where the team's got to start playing better

00:08but I think the way Cora handled Devers, in ownership's mind,

00:12because they are very, very pro Alex Cora,

00:15I think the way he handled Devers, which was, hands off,

00:20I'm going to let Craig Breslow be the bad guy.

00:22John Henry has to get off his ass and fly to Kansas City.

00:25Like, I'm just not going to be the guy who does it.

00:28But I think that put Cora in a tougher spot with ownership

00:30than maybe he's ever been, short of getting suspended from Major League Baseball.

00:35So, yeah, I never would have thought we would have been here.

00:37We talked about this late last week.

00:38I now think Breslow's safer than Cora, in ownership's mind.

00:41I think the fan base feels differently about that.

02:04And to me, I'm like, that's just another fall guy.

02:06Maybe you think that his approach with the off-speed stuff

02:08absolutely sucks.

02:10But in the grand scheme of the organization,

02:12I think that they could fix something around him

02:13and he would be a fall guy.

02:15Why does Cora have, to this point,

02:18the leash that he's had?
