00:00already kind of having to reinvent his reinvention of himself as a pitcher.

00:05It's going to take him a little bit to kind of get back on track again.

00:09Yeah, and I don't know.

00:11This is – he's – he had that one really, really, as he pointed out,

00:16the NL Central is basically owned, Lance.

00:19Because he had that May 10th start where he just got crushed,

00:24seven runs in one-third of an inning.

00:26And then over the next five outings, he had a 3.20 ERA

00:30before he had the freak weight room injury.

00:33And you see, okay, there he's obviously struggling to command his slider.

00:37What is he?

00:38And he's like, do I – right now, can I put Lance in a category above Colton Gordon

00:43or Brandon Walter or any of these other guys?

00:46I'm not so sure.

00:47I think it's just one of those great mysteries that's going to unfold over the second half of the season.

00:52You know, in a results-oriented business and, you know,

00:57with the way that the Astros have gotten surprisingly really good results

01:02from a couple of those guys you mentioned in Brandon Walter, Colton Gordon,

01:07Ryan Gusto, who ended up coming in and pitching three innings in the McCullers game the other day.

01:13You know, in large, you know, outside of a couple of hiccups

01:16and a bump in a road here and there,

01:18I think Gordon and Walter both had one of those against the Angels, you know,

01:22last week or a week and a half ago.

01:24It's been really good.

01:25I don't know that you can't put Lance McCullers up, you know, as a 3 right now.

01:30Somebody that you can hang your hat on and trust to be, you know what,

01:33he's going to get you into the 6 and it'll be fine, a chance to win,

01:36because Gusto and Walter and even George Costanza, a.k.a. Jason Alexander,

01:42that one time pitched really well and gave your ball club a really good chance to win.

01:47Yeah, and I mean, with this team, because the bullpen is so good

01:52and because they're able to get five or six innings out of just seemingly any pitcher

01:58who actually has a pulse, that we're halfway through the season,

02:03the Astros have been the best team in the month of June in the majors.
