00:00seems to be inevitable and of course after rook takes a free white queen changes his
00:05route and goes to g7 with mate
00:07and now let's have a quick look at a game between two great champions
00:18Michael Botvinnik and Tigran Petrosian as you can see white has a material
00:25advantage it's extra exchange black has some compensation and Botvinnik who was
00:30pressing in his game misplayed at one point and eventually made a blunder
00:38happens even in the games of great players and here Petrosian deliver the
00:44final blow by using few themes but one quiet move bishop e4
00:55and white has resigned because this bishop is overloaded it's a deadly pin an
01:03absolute pin because the king is here and rook cannot be protected so white has to
01:09take only four and then rook takes only two and by position collapses and if you
01:14take on d2 then after ed2 it's an amazing situation where white rook is
01:20dominated because it cannot stop this pawn from promoting and the bishop which
01:25technically controls the square it's pinned so that's why bishop will be
01:30eliminated and the promotion is inevitable so simple but very effective bishop e4
01:36and white is lost
01:40and now it's time for test for challenge this time it comes from my own game the game i played against
01:56Vasily Ivanchuk another in our tournament
