00:00We take a look here at the FanDuel Sportsbook because we do have odds up here on the draft

00:03tonight, and they are moving here, and rightfully so. It's what you get on draft day.

00:06Number two, Michael Misa, listed here on the graphic at a minus 160 price to go number two

00:11overall. He's been updated here, Tom, to a minus 220 now. If you are a betting man, which you are,

00:17who do you think goes number two in the NHL draft today? It's probably Misa. This is why I said it's

00:22similar to the NBA. We know it's going number one. Number two, it's like, eh, he's probably

00:26going there. The odds aren't as heavy as we saw for Dylan Harper going to the Spurs, but he should

00:31be going there. This is where it gets interesting at 3-4. Anton Friendell should be going to the

00:37Blackhawks, and again, there were conversations of, do they like someone like James Higgins? But again,

00:41they need a bigger body to play alongside Conor Verdard, so the odds would suggest that he's

00:45going there. 3-4-5, Caleb Denoyer should be going fourth and minus 150 last time that I saw fourth

00:53overall. Porter Mertone at plus 170 is the betting favorite to go fifth. That's where I think he

00:58should be going, and that's probably the best spot to have your first bet of the NHL draft.

01:04So where are the surprises here, Tom? What do you think is going to happen? If we know the top,

01:11Schaefer and Misa, let's say, that's going to be your top two. Where does the, oh my, I can't believe

01:18this happened. Where does that come in? I think it starts with James Higgins, and I like him over

01:24six and a half draft position. Over six and a half, it was plus one or two yesterday. It's up to minus

01:29132. The issue is at 5-6 when we're looking at the Flyers potentially picking at six, the Predators

01:36picking at five. Roger McQueen, who could be taking in that spot, 5-6-7 between Higgins, Brady, Martin,

01:42and Roger McQueen. Roger McQueen had some back issues, a back injury. And again, he is that bigger body

01:47that the Flyers would prefer, because Mitch Koff's a little bit smaller. But again, what are we

01:52dealing with? The size versus the back issue versus the overall skill? You need someone to compliment

01:56Mitch Koff, and I really do think that would be either Brady Martin, if he's available, or Roger

02:01McQueen. So I will take Higgins falling, despite being the presumptive number one pick coming into

02:06the season. I think he falls to seven or eight.
