00:01Police have arrested three suspects in the murder of a 20-year-old university student

00:06at the victim's condominium unit in Cyberjaya on Tuesday.

00:10Sepang Police Chief Nurhizam Bahaman said the suspects, a man and two women aged 19 and 20,

00:16were arrested around Johor Bahru, Johor and Gemuncheh Negeri Sembilan between 9am yesterday and 2am today.

00:23All three suspects were known to the victim.

00:26He said an application would be made to remand all three suspects at the Sepang Sessions Court this morning to assist in investigations.

00:34Investigations are being held under Section 302 of the penal code for murder.

00:39The victim, University of Cyberjaya student Manisha Prit Kaur Akhara, was found dead in her condominium unit on June 24.

00:47An autopsy identified her cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.

00:52Police said there were no signs that her residence had been broken into and that she had not suffered injuries consistent with rape.

00:59Police previously said a male suspect had used Manisha Prit's debit card to withdraw money from five to six ATMs not long after the murder.

01:08A laptop, handphone and cache belonging to Manisha Prit were also said to be missing.
