00:37Dr. Myers, what inspired the partnership between Perplexity and AccuWeather?
00:42Increasingly, it's going to be a way that people get information.
00:45And what's the thing that the kind of information people most likely are most looking for?
00:51It's the weather forecast, the weather data, and of course, AccuWeather is the most trusted source, the most accurate source.
00:58And so Perplexity looking to get the best and most accurate information turned to AccuWeather.
01:05And so we're excited about that to be the first search engine that has the first AI search engine that's come to us to use our information directly.
01:19And we're excited about that, and we expect more to come.
01:22The answer engine aspect of Perplexity's platform is very important.
01:27How will AccuWeather's superior forecasts enable users to make better decisions?
01:34Well, John, that's how we're all oriented anyway.
01:37In other words, weather data and forecasts, if they're not accurate, if they're not properly worded,
01:45so the people make the best decisions, they're looking for answers.
01:49Really, how is the weather going to impact my travel, my outside activities, whether it's sports or walking or whatever they want to do outside,
01:58and so many other things.

02:01Is it too hot to go out?
02:02Is it anything I need?
02:02So it ties in directly, and that's how a lot of our information is framed,
02:08and so it really fits with what Perplexity as an answer engine does, and so we're very excited about this.

02:17We're, as the AccuWeather meteorologists, are always considering how to put information and detail into our forecast
02:24to enable people to make the best decisions,
02:26and this will allow even further personalization in terms of the weather impacts that matter to each of the Perplexity users.
02:34And it'll be direct, you know, so wherever you are, exact location, time, and of course, all of AccuWeathers,
02:41in addition to the accuracy of our forecast and the information, the completeness of it,
02:46all the other things that we have will be available, like the real field sun temperature,
02:52the real field shade temperature, the AccuLumen brightness index,
02:56and all the other specialty things that, the MinuteCast, AccuWeathers MinuteCast,
