00:05Alright, I'm back in Harrison here.
00:07You know, Hot Dog Hut has been here close to over 40 years, going back to the 70s.
00:15And you know, they just serve hot dogs out the window.
00:19And you can get here for lunch.
00:22But they also have late night hours, going sometimes past midnight.
00:27For the rovers and partiers coming back from the nearby path station.
00:35Of course, we're in a heavily industrial area with the big trucks making a lot of noise.
00:40We're also close to Sports Illustrated Stadium.
00:45I think that's what it's called now.
00:46And we're under the landing path of Newark Airport.
00:49So, unique location here in Harrison.
00:51But Hot Dog Hut has been serving up pushcourt style hot dogs for many, many years.
00:57But I'm going to give it a try and see if these hot dogs are worthy to tank.

01:21Okay, Hot Dog Hut is an institution here.
01:23But, I mean, it really is the heart of Harrison.
01:28And the bun to dog ratio is on point.
01:33We've got the nice hot dog.
01:34It feels like it's a hot dog cart.
01:37And they've just been handing out hot dogs out the window for well over 40 years.
01:44And they use Sabrette Hot Dogs.
01:48And you can tell it's a good hot dog.
01:50Good coloring.
01:52Let's see how this actually tastes.
02:06It's got a decent snap.
02:09That basic texture you're looking for.
02:12Quality Sabrette.
02:13It's still ringing double down the line.
02:18Well, they're better.
02:21Now, their best seller is their Chili Dog.
02:25And look at the Chili Dog.
02:28They use the liquid gold cheese.
02:33You know, that's always one of the better cheese to use.
02:35Looks like a nice chili.
02:37No beans.
02:39I like the styled chili.
02:40Good meat sauce.
02:41Not overloading the dog.
02:43Neat.
02:45It's a neat chili dog.
02:46I like the neat chili dogs.
02:47That chili is excellent.
03:04That chili could not be any better.
03:06I'm going to give the chili dog a triple.
03:12All right, Hot Dog Hut.
03:16You know, they're going to have new ownership.
03:18I was actually here, and I feel honored to do this.
03:21It's Oscar's last day.
03:23But you've got capable people running this place and will always continue Hot Dog Hut.
03:31And, well, that's what we go for.
03:33We go for quality hot dogs like this.
