Transcript
00:00Mr. Speaker, I rise today to congratulate the United States military on their successful
00:09bombing of the three nuclear facilities in Iran over the weekend.
00:15Imagine flying 37 hours in a B-2 bomber to defang a nuclear Iran.
00:23These successful strikes prove to the world, yet again, that the United States military
00:29is the best and most capable in the world.
00:33I want to thank the men and women of U.S. Northern Command and Cheyenne Mountain in my district
00:39in Colorado Springs for detecting missile launches and helping pass on that intelligence.
00:46I believe that under no circumstance should Iran, who is the largest state sponsor of terrorism,
00:53have nuclear weapons.
00:55The president's decision took courage.
00:59Courage that other presidents in the past just didn't have.
01:03I am an unwavering supporter of the nation of Israel and in bringing any Iranian nuclear weapons
01:11programs to a swift and decisive end.
01:14Thank you, and I yield back.
01:17What purpose?
