00:00At number five, though, that's where things got a little bit spicy, perhaps a little bit chaotic
00:05even early on in the 2025 NBA draft. We know Ace Bailey has the talent of being a top five,
00:12heck, even top three pick in the NBA draft. But given his pre-draft process, we weren't sure
00:18exactly where that stock might slide. It really didn't. It ends up maybe in an unexpected place,
00:25that being Salt Lake City, the Utah Jazz, using that fifth overall selection on Ace Bailey. So
00:31the question now in Bailey's early start of his NBA career, will that be in Utah or might the
00:38summer hold something else? The question to all of you and Fade the Public.
00:42At SportsGrid on Twitter, will Ace Bailey play a single game for the Utah Jazz? Yes or no? Those
00:59are the two options. Nearly 63% of the public DRS, a good majority of the public saying yes, Ace Bailey
01:06is going to play for the Utah Jazz in his rookie campaign. Some context necessary if you are not
01:14all that familiar with how Ace Bailey conducted his draft process. He did not really interview
01:19or at least did not have any pre-draft workouts with any teams around the NBA. Very selective
01:27about his criteria. In fact, there were reports as early as Monday or as recently as Monday, I should
01:33say. The Utah Jazz offered up a pre-draft visit to Ace Bailey that he did end up declining. Ace Bailey
01:40himself saying he had, quote, no idea, end quote, that Danny Ainge and Austin Ainge and the Utah Jazz
01:48would select him in the 2025 NBA draft. That, of course, the context for why we asked the question,
01:55will a guy just drafted by an NBA team play for said NBA team? Again, DRS, 63% of the public saying yes,
02:02it's the way I voted as well. Which way did you go in this fade the public poll?
02:06Yes, he is going to play a game here because you've already would have seen, like I'm sure he told them
02:11don't draft us here, but when you draft it, it's sort of like a come to a, you know, a moment where
02:16it's like, all right, let's make the best of this year. Let's play well and maybe in a couple years
02:19we'll get you out of there. You play rookie or heck, maybe you love it in Utah and they build a team
02:23around you and you want to stay for your entire career in that organization. But it's an interesting power move
02:28where people don't really back out of commitments here because you would have saw it right away.
02:32Like you won't have been the ultimate disrespect. Ace Bailey drafted to the Utah Jazz, walks up on
02:37stage, doesn't pick up the hat, unhappy, shakes the commissioner's hand, goes and does interviews
02:42saying like, I told them not to draft me and they drafted me. What do you want me to do? Like, oh,
02:46we got a big issue now. But it seems like he was in good spirits, even if some of his answers were
02:51convoluted on whether or not he actually likes the fact that Utah drafted him. It is a big night for the
02:56kid, welcome into the NBA family. But for me to say, he's not going to play another game for Utah,
03:01you would have heard those moments where we told the Jazz not to draft us. Like we're immediately
03:06going to look for an overseas partner for him to play or they need to trade him. He will never set
03:10foot in Utah. You'd have already had that statement come out of there. So Ace Bailey, the question of,
03:15of what we asked was, of course, I voted yes with the 63%. Will he play a single game for the Utah Jazz?
03:20A better question, probably more evenly would be like, does he finish his rookie contract with the Jazz,
03:25which means he played really well. They signed him to a big contract extension or,
03:29hey, after a year or two, we told you we don't like this. He doesn't really think it's working
03:32out. We don't like the fit here. Can you move us and see where it goes from here? That's probably
03:36a better question, but he is going to play a game for the Utah Jazz. Completely agree, DRS. And I think
03:42that is pretty well summed up. Again, it's the conjecture and the conversation kind of pre-draft.
03:47And I know it's only been about 12 hours since the draft came to a close, fewer than that even
03:53last night. But when Ace Bailey went a little bit more than 12 hours that he is now a member
03:58of this Jazz franchise, we probably would have heard something about, hey, he is really pissed off.
04:04He hasn't spoken to Danny Ainge. He is already trying to demand his way out. I think Ace Bailey
04:10is a really good kid. He has said it numerous times. All he wants to do is hoop. Do I agree with the way
04:15he conducted his pre-draft process? Not necessarily. You got to play the game, but it did end up still
04:21in a top five selection and millions of dollars headed his way to start off his NBA career. It
04:28is also not like DRS. Ace Bailey visited seven NBA teams and declined two interviews. And one of them
04:35happened to be the Utah Jazz. He didn't go anywhere. He wasn't in Philadelphia. He wasn't in Charlotte.
04:40There were rumors prior to the draft beginning last night. He had a secret workout with the Washington
04:46Wizards and Bailey was a minus 155 favorite to be that sixth overall pick headed to DC. So it's not
04:53like he spurned a couple of teams, but then was infatuated with others. I guess by reports, he had a list
05:00of preferred destinations and Utah was not on it. But ultimately, the Jazz make the move. You can call it
05:06bold. I'm not so sure it was. Ace Bailey is going to play his rookie season with the Jazz. And frankly,
05:13he goes to a scenario where Utah had the worst record in the NBA last year, 17 and 65. He's going
05:19to have a lot of free will to hoist a ton of shots, which is what Ace loves to do and does better than
05:25most. Yeah. And again, he is in a good spot for that, but it's just in the Utah. Like Utah is not
05:30really a destination for NBA players where they're dying to get there. I can't remember the biggest
05:34free agent signing Utah's ever had. Like we know the Carl Malone, John Stockton is, but after that,
05:39has there ever been a superstar athlete? Like, yes, Utah is the place that I want to be.
05:42He'll get his shots up, but the draft is still taking place right now. Is there a chance,
05:46Ben, 24, 48 hours later, we start to get the leaks from the Bayley crew that goes,
05:51we don't know if we want to show up now.
05:54Fair draft, not completely in the books yet.
05:59Round number one, night number one of the 2025 NBA draft is in the books, but round number two,
06:05still ahead on this Thursday evening over in Brooklyn, inside the Barclays Center and across the river
06:11is where we find Raphael Barlow. On this Thursday morning, a man working hard and into the wee hours,
06:18I guess you could say, of this Thursday morning, covering the entirety of the opening round last
06:23night inside the Barclays Center. And in my humble opinion, one of the best to do it in terms of draft
06:29evaluation around the association. Raphael, as always, thanks for coming back to the Sports Grid
06:34Network. We appreciate your time bright and early here on this Thursday on the early line.
06:40No problem. Thanks for having me on. It's always fun to talk basketball.
06:45Excited to break down the opening night of the NBA draft with you and Raphael. Let's start
06:49with the top five. The first four picks exactly as expected, at least according to the odds makers.
06:56And that, of course, started at the top. The Dallas Mavericks selecting Cooper Flagg,
07:01his coronation last night in Brooklyn. He was a minus 100,000 favorite Raphael to be that first
07:09overall selection. No surprises there. We'll get to the rest of the top five, the remainder of the
07:14lottery in just a moment. But to focus in on Cooper Flagg, Raphael, basically, we expected this guy to be
07:20the first overall pick whenever he declared for the draft by the time he was 14, 15 years old,
07:26hooping up in Maine. A ton of expectation on his lone year playing in college hoops at Duke. He matched,
07:33perhaps even surpassed those wild expectations, winning the Wooden Award for National Player of the
07:39Year, National Freshman of the Year as well. Raphael, do you expect that Cooper Flagg will match and
07:45maybe even exceed those same lofty expectations now in the NBA with the Mavs?
07:52That's going to be tough, but nothing he does really surprises me. I mean, the player that I
07:58saw when he was 15 about three years ago, I thought he was going to be like the number one pick. I
08:04thought he was going to be really good, and he's exceeded those expectations. I didn't see him
08:08shooting 38% from three. So if he continues to progress and improve like he has over the last
08:1518 months, I mean, he's going to be really special for Dallas.
08:20Looking at Cooper Flagg also going number one as expected at that point, but the rest of the top
08:25five did go a little bit haywire once we got the five, which we'll get to in just a few moments.
08:29But for me, Raphael, the Philadelphia 76ers are my squad. VJ Edgecombe goes to the Sixers over Ace
08:36Bailey and other players. What did you think about the fit for VJ to the Philadelphia 76ers? And also,
08:41was it a mistake if they liked Ace Bailey just to call his bluff and still take Ace at number three?
08:47Yeah, I think it was a mistake. I think Ace is the better prospect. He adds more positional size. I
08:53think he's a better shooter. I think he offers, you know, good promise as a defender long term as
09:00far as being a weak side shot blocker. And then Philly's backcourt is small. So you have multiple
09:05small guards and Maxie and Jared McCain. And then you add in Edgecombe, who's not small, but I just
09:13would, I would have went with Ace Bailey there just because I think Ace, when it's all said and done,
09:17is going to be one of the best prospects in this class. It's not a knock on on VJ Edgecombe, but I think
09:22that Philadelphia should have called his bluff and just taken who they thought was the best player on the
09:28board. So let's talk about Ace Bailey because Raphael, that was one of the storylines entering
09:34the opening round last night. The talent at times undeniable for Arius Ace Bailey, the draft process
09:41and how he conducted himself declining to work out for various NBA franchises. That kind of led to the
09:48conjecture around his draft stock sliding. It didn't slide all that far. The Jazz, even to the surprise
09:54of Ace, picked him at fifth overall. What do you make of the situation where Ace Bailey now finds
10:01himself in Utah and where he ultimately went fifth overall? Well, one, I think he's the third best
10:07player in the draft. Two, I think it was pretty strategic on his camp to get him to a spot that
10:14they thought was a favorable place where he can play through mistakes and he can play freely. And to be
10:20honest with Philadelphia, I don't know if it was the best fit for him short term, simply because
10:26when you look at the East, you know, Boston is expected to be down. The Pacers now with Halliburton
10:32being out, the Bucs are going to miss Dame Lillard. If you're a Philadelphia 76ers fan, you're probably
10:37thinking if we can just be healthy, we have a really good shot at coming out the East. And so with that
10:43being said, as a young 18 year old, I don't know if that's the best position for him to get the type
10:50of minutes and the freedom that he needs. Not saying that he needs to take a bunch of shots,
10:55but I look at it like, all right, if he misses a couple of defensive assignments, is he going to be
11:00able to stay on the floor? And I just think with Philadelphia, they're in win now mode. Ace is only 18.
11:06He probably needs to go to a situation where he's allowed to play through mistakes. And even though Utah
11:12wasn't one of the teams that he was allegedly preferring, I think that situation in Utah is
11:18going to be favorable for him. Certainly a fun first round and no doubt about it. The first five,
11:23we look at that with Ace Bailey going fifth overall to Utah and where that fit comes in. But how about
11:27six, seven, eight, nine, and 10? Like you have a couple of bucket getters there in Trey Johnson and
11:31Jeremiah Fears. Denman goes to Brooklyn, which is where I'd like to start. You were in the building
11:36last night, home court advantage towards the Nets fans. Denman is picked. What was the announcement
11:41like? And also, do you agree with that pick to the Brooklyn Nets?
11:46I was shocked. And I think the crowd was too. I mean, you heard, you heard some bulls. I don't
11:50know who the crowd probably would have favored. Maybe common Maliwaps. I mean, there was a heavy
11:56Duke crowd there. But with that being said, I mean, I think it just depends on what you see in
12:02the Agor. It was like a tale of two seasons. Like the first five games, he looked like a top five pick.
12:08And then he kind of struggled a little bit after that. And then he had a strong finish
12:12in the NCAA tournament. But in my opinion, he's the best passer in the draft. He has excellent
12:17positional size. I've jokingly said that he'll be Cam Thomas's best friend because Cam Thomas
12:23likes to get him up. And he's never seen a shot he doesn't like. And the Agor, the knock on him is
12:29he's a little bit passive sometimes. And so if you're Cam Thomas and you love a pass first,
12:35pass second point guard that'll throw you those those. I don't want to I guess because of the
12:41climate we're in, I guess bombs is not the perfect word to use. But those those late second grenades at
12:47the end of the shot clock. If there were some boos last night inside the Barclays Center, when
12:53Yegor Dimon was selected eighth overall, it certainly was not Cam Thomas, probably the loudest cheer or
12:58applause wherever he was taken in the opening round of the NBA draft because the floor vision for
13:04Dimon is not really what is at conversation here. I do want to focus quickly, Rafael, before we move
13:10on to the rest of the lottery and some guys that you are incredibly high on, maybe even higher on than
13:15the rest of the public was entering last night on Dylan Harper. Second overall pick goes to San
13:21Antonio. A lot of young and promising talent, of course, for the Spurs, the generational talent of
13:27two summers ago. Victor Webinyama wins rookie of the year. Last year, Steph Stephon Castle wins rookie
13:33of the year as well after being selected in the top five. Harper now the second overall pick heads to
13:39this Spurs organization. How do you believe his game translate to this next level?
13:45I think it's going to be interesting fit simply because I think Harper is best when he has the
13:50ball in his hands. And I don't know if San Antonio is going to give him the opportunity to really play
13:54with the ball. I mean, they just traded for De'Aaron Fox. It's easy to forget that Fox is a San Antonio
13:59Spurs simply because he got hurt right after the trade deadline. And then Stephon Castle played his
14:05best ball when he was able to be like the lead ball handler for the Spurs. And then all three of
14:11those guys, well, at least Fox is a streaky shooter. Harper was a good shooter off the catch
14:18at at Rutgers. But I just I have some concerns about how all three of them fit and who is going
14:25to be the one that has to sacrifice the most. I mean, Fox is an all star. Castle was rookie of the
14:30year. And Harper probably has to come in thinking like I'm the second pick. So I should have the
14:35ball in my hands, too. But I think San Antonio will make it work out. It's going to be really
14:40interesting, right? With so much young promise there. Of course, Victor Webinyama did not play
14:44following the all star break. San Antonio, even after the acquisition of De'Aaron Fox,
14:49who was banged up down the stretch, still finishing 14 games below 500 at 34 and 48.
14:55You would think entering year three for Wemby, this is the time to turn it on and be a playoff
15:01contender in the Western Conference. 17 to one, the price on San Antonio to win the West.
15:07That's the eighth best number around that side of the league. Rafael Barlow not going anywhere.
15:11We'll talk the rest of what we saw on night number one on the other side of the break.
15:16The 2025 NBA draft for a second consecutive year, a two night event, our continued reactions from
15:24night number one in Brooklyn ahead of round number two on this Thursday evening. And Rafael Barlow
15:29continues to join us here on the early line. Rafael, as we welcome you onto the show, I said,
15:35in my humble opinion, I think you're one of the best NBA draft and talent evaluators out there.
15:39So if you will, I would like to read a tweet from January 2nd, 2024. That's about 18 months ago,
15:48but January 2nd, 2024. And I want to hear if you know who said this. I think young Han son has a
15:55chance to be special. 18 years old, seven, one with work on the block. I see some Alperen
16:01shangun and Zach 80 in his game. He's got the Kevin McHale shoulder fakes in his arsenal,
16:06a soft touch around the rim and he's tough again. That's January 2nd, 2024 about young Han son who
16:13went 16th overall to the Portland trailblazers. Rafael, do you know who shared that out on Twitter?
16:20I did share that, but I'll be honest. I called him Hanson Yang in the tweet.
16:25Fair enough. I did give you the benefit of the proper pronunciation now. So yes.
16:34I just learned it last night at the draft, but I've always been a fan of his. And yeah,
16:40it's crazy that I was, I was at the draft last night and I started my phone was going off and
16:44that, that tweet started, I guess it was making the waves on social media. But again, I'm a big fan
16:51of his game. I like what he brings to the table and me and my brother jokingly call ourselves the
16:55Yang gang, but we did not expect him to go at, at number 16. By the way, if we are taking a look,
17:02we'll see the rookie of the year odds in just a few moments here. Obviously,
17:05Cooper flag is going to be the favorite. Give me your favorite pick of the first round here.
17:10And maybe it's just a fit selection for a team and maybe a pick that was like, ah, come on, man.
17:13I can't be the draft pick, can it? I definitely like Ace Bailey to Utah. I like the fact that the
17:21Jazz are like, Hey, we don't care about all the noise. You're the best player available.
17:25We're taking you. So I like that fit. I actually like Trey Johnson in Washington. I think he's
17:30going to come in and slide into Jordan Poole's spot and he might be their leading scorer as a
17:35rookie. So that's, those are the two picks that I really liked. The one that I'm really confused
17:40about is Colin Murray Boyles at number nine to Toronto. Toronto is a team that was, I think,
17:4729th in the NBA and three pointers made and they draft a undersized foreman that doesn't space the
17:55floor, but he's a guy that analytics loves. And it's like a divide between the analytics guys and
18:01the eye test guys. And it looks like analytics one. Colin Murray Boyles, who spent two years in
18:09Columbia playing for South Carolina last year, averaged 16 and eight, 16 points, eight boards.
18:15First guy to put up those kinds of numbers for the Gamecocks in four decades. But I do hear the
18:20point there, Raphael, for sure. You were in Brooklyn last night in the heart of the Barclays Center.
18:26I do want to ask you about the Nets. We talked about Yegor Dimmon, who went eighth overall,
18:3019th overall. They take the guard from France and Nolan Traore. 22nd overall, they take the
18:36youngster from UNC in Drake Powell. And then back to back, 26, 27, Ben Serif, the guard who plays
18:43professionally in Europe, but is from Israel in 27th overall after his only year in Ann Arbor,
18:50Danny Wolf. They go back to back. Raphael, a two-part question. Are you surprised first
18:56that the Nets ended up using all five of their first round selections? And then regardless of that,
19:03second, I guess, the immediate follow-up, what do you make? What kind of grade do you give the
19:08Nets draft class of those five picks in the opening round? I am surprised. I spoke with an agent
19:15probably about 24 hours before the draft. Actually, maybe it was right after they made that trade to
19:20get the fifth pick. And he said, everything I'm hearing, they're going to keep all five of their
19:24picks. I said, I don't know. That doesn't make sense. And, you know, he was right. They kept all
19:29five picks. Second reaction, honestly, New York City is a melting pot of different cultures from
19:35across the world. And the Brooklyn Nets represent New York City. You got Yegor Demons from Russia,
19:42Nolan Trejo from France, Ben Serif is from Israel. Danny Wolf played for Israel at the U-20s just two
19:49summers ago. So it just represents New York City as far as the melting pot of cultures. A lot of
19:56redundancy. I mean, I think Yegor is obviously a point guard. I think Nolan Trejo is a point guard.
20:01I think he was probably the best pickup out of the five just because of where he was rated coming
20:06into the season. Struggled a little bit and his stock kind of plummeted. But I think he's still
20:12the same guy that everyone was high on. He just got off to a slow start in France.
20:16Rafael, let's take a look at that odds market here for NBA Rookie of the Year. Obviously,
20:20Cooper Flagg is a favorite. He's actually even a little bit higher than he was earlier this morning
20:24from a minus 180 price to a minus 190 price. Ace Bailey, Trey Johnson, Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecombe.
20:30If this is Flagg, he'd say, yeah, you know what? I think Flagg wins it. But if you had to have one
20:34pick today on who could win that NBA Rookie of the Year, who would be your opinion and why?
20:40I would go with Ace Bailey. I would go with Ace Bailey. I think that he's going to have the
20:46opportunity. Actually, you know what? I take that back. I take that back. I think I would go with
20:49Trey Johnson. Trey Johnson is going to have the opportunity to have the ball in his hands.
20:56Ace is going to have to split touches with it. As the roster is constructed now,
21:00Jordan Clarkson and Colin Sexton and Laurie Markman. So I would say Trey Johnson is going
21:06to be the guy that's going to get up the shots and he probably has the best chance.
21:09I like that look because you have those two guys now tied for the second best number in Ace Bailey
21:15and Trey Johnson. Bailey goes fifth to Utah. Johnson sixth overall to the Washington Wizards,
21:21both at plus 850. And although Cooper Flagg will have that expectation and Rafael goes to a far better
21:27team or at least in a better situation in Dallas than either Ace in Utah or Trey in DC, there will be
21:35a lot of expectation on Cooper Flagg to play for a playoff ready team in the Dallas Mavericks. Trey
21:42Johnson, by the way, last year averaging nearly 20 points per game at Texas as a freshman led the
21:48SEC in scoring sixth ever freshman to lead the Southeastern Conference in points per game throughout
21:55a single college basketball season. All right, Rafael Barlow is going to stick around for one final
22:01segment as we round out the show on the other side of the break. We'll take an early look
22:05at night number two and then we'll let Rafael go take a nap because he was up till 4am grinding tape
22:11and finishing things out following night number one. And this is where we let our lovely Donnie
22:16Wright side depart to get ready for the money line on the radio today. DRS, have a lovely time. I'll
22:23miss you tomorrow, my friend. Have a great weekend, huh?
22:24Another day off for Ben Stevens. Love to be Ben Stevens around here, huh?
22:31You had the chance to go on that anniversary trip. Rafael sticks around up next.
22:36Work, baby, work.
22:38The NBA draft, now a two-night event, so round number two inside the Barclays Center on its way
22:44tonight on this Thursday evening in Brooklyn when Rafael Barlow is right now. He will be there
22:51covering everything from round number two as he was from round number one just a night ago. And
22:58Rafael, in the NBA, it's not quite the NFL, right, where there are seven rounds to cipher through.
23:04And with only 30 teams, you're going to have some really good players make their way into that second
23:10round. Only 29 picks tonight. The Knicks have forfeited a draft pick based on tampering for Jalen
23:16Brunson in the offseason acquisition during free agency a few summers ago. Here's a couple of notable
23:22available draft prospects that we still have and have highlighted on the big board. Some very familiar
23:28and recognizable names from their time playing collegiately. Ryan Kalkbrenner, a record setter
23:33for Creighton and in the Big East. Maxime Reynaud, if you don't know who he is, one of the best bigs in
23:39the ACC can shoot it from deep as well. Tyrese Proctor, who played at Duke. Eric Dixon, the
23:45nation's leading scorer at the D1 level last year for Villanova. And of course, the SEC Player of the
23:51Year in Janai Broome. We'll start with this list of five prospects, Rafael. On that board, who do you
23:58think has the highest upside? And we'll hear their name called the earliest tonight in round two.
24:03I'm a little biased in a sense for Maxime Reynaud. I've been a big fan of his. He's a guy that I
24:11actually would have taken in the lottery. I mean, 20 points, 11 rebounds, was second in the ACC in
24:17scoring, first in rebounds, and only the second player over seven foot to make over 63s in a season.
24:25So I think he's been hiding in plain sight. I would have taken him a lot higher than where he went. So
24:30to me, he's the best available on the board. And then there's Ryan Cockburner. We're talking about
24:34a guy that I think teams are just, they've, I think they're making a mistake in a sense.
24:43Is he being fairly judged because he has 165 games of college experience? There are guys that haven't
24:50been as productive as him. And he's also like the four-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year.
24:55So we have a guy that has been in college for five years, 66% career shooter from the floor,
25:02incredible touch around the rim, and four-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year. And he's not
25:06a first-round pick. I think he's a guy that's going to end up sticking. Like, he may not be a first-rounder,
25:10but when we do a redraft in five years, we're going to say, man, why was not, why was Ryan
25:16Cockburner not on the first round?
25:18Rafael, I do very much agree with you. There are two guys in the history of Big East basketball,
25:24the prestigious history of that league that have won four Defensive Player of the Year awards in the
25:30Big East. Ryan Cockburner, the other Patrick Ewing during his playing days at Georgetown. And Maxime
25:37Reynaud, he can shoot it. Maybe if he didn't play at Stanford, he would have been a first-round pick.
25:42I do believe a steal early on tonight in round number two. The Minnesota Timberwolves on the clock,
25:48slated to have that 31st overall pick, the first of night number two. Another name, Rafael, that some
25:55thought could be a first-round selection and did have a first-round place on many sportsbooks,
26:01Rashear Fleming out of St. Joe's. Where do you think he might land here on night number two?
26:08He should be within the first three picks. I had a first-round grade on him.
26:12He shot 39% from the floor, averaged about 2.8 stocks per game. I love the fact that he's a guy
26:20that wasn't really highly touted in high school, played behind DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw,
26:26and has just gotten better and better every year. And I think for him, he just has a lot of
26:30untapped potential. Again, I'm shocked that he didn't go in the first round, but he should be one
26:35of the first three names called tonight.
26:36A-10 stand-up. If Rashear Fleming does, not maybe if, but when he hears his name tonight on
26:43night number two. Rafael, finally, any prospects we haven't highlighted or hit yet that you think
26:49can make an impact in the NBA that will go tonight in the second round?
26:54Actually, the guy that I think is going to stick is Ryan Nembhardt from Gonzaga, led the nation in assists.
27:00A little bit on the smaller side, but I could see him having like a Trey Jones-type career.
27:06Trey Jones was the 41st pick in 2020, and he's already played five years. I think that Ryan
27:13Nembhardt could have a similar path. And when you go back and look at old draft classes, if a guy
27:18plays five years, that means he's brought first-round value. And I think Ryan Nembhardt is going to be
27:23one of the guys that's selected in the second round that ends up sticking in the NBA.
27:26And you're trying to find that value tonight. Maybe not an all-star or a superstar, but somebody
27:33that can certainly make an impact for a franchise and organization. Rafael Barlow, doing great work
27:38covering the NBA draft. He'll be there in Brooklyn again tonight. Rafael, as always, we appreciate
27:43the time, man. Thanks for being here and try to catch some sleep before night number two.
27:48Yeah, that's not going to happen. Have a good one. Thanks so much.
27:52Best of luck to you, man. Thanks for being here. The early line returns tomorrow,
27:568 a.m. Eastern on Sportsman.
