00:18a flare to emit a light in the sky, and minutes later, a rescue boat comes to meet them. However,
00:23on arriving at the scene, the rescuers realize that the boat has sunk, and while searching for
00:28possible survivors, Andre spots a large burst of light dissipating underwater. The next day,
00:34after teaching an oceanology class at the university where she works, Annabelle receives a visit from
00:39Lionel and discovers that one of her father's fishing boats has sunk in the Bay of Faycamp and
00:43the wreckage has not been found. Moments before the shipwreck, the sonar picked up a noise coming
00:48from the bottom of the ocean, and on hearing that sound, Annabelle decided to return to her hometown
00:53to investigate. The woman is relieved to know that her father is okay, because luckily Harry wasn't
00:58on board the day the crew disappeared. On arriving in Faycamp, Annabelle is met by Vital,
01:03the local police chief, and discovers that the search team has still not found any trace of
01:07the shipwreck or the bodies of the 14 sailors who were on board. When she finds Andre, the oceanographer
01:13runs to hug him and says she is happy to see him again. She then meets up with all the men who were
01:18on the rescue boat and listens to their version of what happened. Later, while talking to Annabelle in
01:22private, Andre reports that he arrived at the scene a few moments after the shipwreck and saw a strong
01:27light dissipating around the boat accompanied by a vibration that went through his whole body.

01:36details about what happened, but Andre is convinced that what he saw was real. After gathering as much
01:41information as possible, Annabelle pays a visit to her father and Harry is delighted to finally see
01:46his daughter again after so long. Instead of accepting her father's invitation to spend the night at his
01:51house, Annabelle decides to rent a hotel room, and the next morning, while preparing her boat to go to the
01:57site of the shipwreck, she receives a visit from her husband. Three years ago, Annabelle left town,

02:07fey camp, Julian decides to go and talk to her, but leaves when he realizes that Annabelle has no

03:41woman and had a son with her. At the time, Jimmy was just a child and suffered greatly from the
03:47loss of his younger brother. That night, the boy is alone on the beach when he feels a vibration
03:51echoing over the land and then sees a strong pink light emerging from the ocean. The next morning,

04:43the locals make fun of her and are furious when Annabelle suggests that they stop sailing for the
04:48time being. When he realizes that his fishermen are adamantly against the idea of not going to

05:33is moving towards him, Vital panics, but luckily, when it gets close to the boat, the vortex breaks
05:38up. Annabelle quickly pulls her drone back and the policeman manages to start the vehicle to return
05:43to shore. As she still hasn't found the answers to the mystery she's trying to solve, the oceanographer
05:49decides to go scuba diving the next morning in search of new clues. However, when she is on her way back
05:54to her boat, Annabelle finds her father and the team of fishermen preparing to set sail again and tries
05:59to stop them. Impatient with the stress his daughter has caused since arriving in the city,
06:05Harry recommends that she return to the capital, but Julian manages to convince him to wait a few
06:09more hours before setting sail. Thanks to her husband's support, Annabelle has the chance to
06:14go ahead with her plan and goes diving in search of possible traces of an underwater earthquake.
06:19Since losing her son, this is the first time the oceanographer has entered the sea and heard a
06:24frightening noise while she was down there. At the end of the dive, Annabelle returns to her boat and
06:29sends a message to Vital to ask him to meet her on the shore. Meanwhile, a few kilometers away,
06:34a group of ecologists is also starting an investigation to discover the origin of these
06:38phenomena, and when Vital is informed of this, he goes after them. The man knows that this is a
06:43dangerous area, so he heads to the boat with a rescue team to prevent Sylvia and the other divers
06:48from getting hurt. While photographing some war missiles that are lodged at the bottom of the sea,

08:08his help to board the plane illegally. However, while sailing, the pair are stopped by the National Navy
08:13and Annabelle hides the memory card containing all the data she collected before being arrested in her
08:18pocket. On arriving on dry land, the oceanographer comes across a military camp and is taken to
08:24Commander Helena's tent for questioning. However, after refusing to share her research data, Annabelle
08:29has all her measuring equipment seized and asks for Lionel's help to recover her belongings. Due to the
08:34ban on navigation, the fishermen of the Bay of Fay camp are prevented from working and Harry has no
08:39choice but to fire some members of his team. After his dismissal, Harry begins to feel ill from the
08:45stress and Julian takes him home. When she receives the news about what happened to her father,
08:49Annabelle decides to go and visit him and meets her mother again. In recent years, Annabelle has
08:55harbored a deep resentment towards her mother because when she told her she wouldn't be able to go to her
08:59son's funeral, Lane judged her instead of welcoming her. That night, Jimmy decides to go to the beach again
09:06and once again, he sees a bright light illuminating a patch of water close to the shore. Unaware of the
09:11danger that this phenomenon presents, the young man smiles and admires the beautiful light that
09:16makes up the landscape. When he gets home, Jimmy is confronted by his father, who questions why he

10:50Upon hearing this, the woman begins to worry about where the research will lead and Helena tells her that she has
10:55until the next morning to decide whether or not to collaborate with the government. As she is leaving,
11:00Annabelle asks why her boss has gone there and discovers that Lionel is an ex-soldier who worked
11:05for the Navy as an acoustics analyst. At that moment, Annabelle feels cheated and goes to the
11:10beach to think about Helena's proposal. As the woman watches the ocean, Julian approaches her and
11:15invites her to dinner at his house with Jimmy, just like old times. After the meal, instead of going back
11:21to the hotel, Annabelle decides to spend the night with her husband, and in the morning she wakes up
11:26frightened because she has had a nightmare about her son. Immediately, the woman regrets having
11:30visited her old house, because that place has awakened all the memories she has spent the last
11:35few years trying to forget. On her way downstairs, Annabelle finds Jimmy in the kitchen preparing

11:50music and hugs his stepmother, because he has missed her so much in recent years. After spending
11:55some time with the young man, Annabelle makes up her mind and accepts Helena's proposal, but she
12:00demands her equipment back and says she will choose the members of her team. With Lissa's help, the
12:06oceanographer guides two drones around the area where the magnetic disturbance was detected and manages
12:11to record the luminous phenomenon that is happening live there. After decoding the sound vibrations emitted
12:16by the unknown organism, the scientist manages to establish contact with it, but soon realizes that the drones
12:22are being affected by the magnetic disturbance and decides to collect them. However, on Helena's orders,
12:27one of her subordinates takes control of the drones and tries to bring them closer to the creature. But the
12:32devices end up being destroyed by a strong electromagnetic wave. Furious at the interference
12:37that cost her two of her best measuring devices, Annabelle blames the commander for delaying her research,
12:42but the woman says she made the decision in order to collect more data. The problem is that Helena's plan
12:47didn't work out as expected and now the scientists will find it even more difficult to communicate with the
12:52organism. During the argument, Annabelle receives a phone call from her husband and discovers that Sylvia,
12:58who is Julian's sister, has woken up after so long. Immediately, the woman goes to the hospital to see her and
13:04discovers that the mysterious creature she is studying is the same one that caused the explosion at the bottom of the
13:09ocean. This happened because the camera Sylvia was using to photograph the bombs had flashes,
13:14and when she discovered this, Annabelle came to the conclusion that any light signal is perceived as a
13:19threat by the body. When it saw the lights emitted by the drones, the creature interpreted it as a
13:24possible attack and released the electromagnetic pulse that destroyed the equipment. So Annabelle
13:29suggests doing another dive, but this time without electrical appliances or any equipment that could be
13:34considered aggressive. The oceanographer is convinced that this specimen is very territorial,
13:38so she has to be careful not to make it feel threatened. The next morning, after saying
13:43goodbye to their team, Annabelle and Andre prepare to set sail, as Helena has given them a sailing
13:48permit. When she arrives at the location indicated by the equipment, the oceanographer puts on her
13:53diving suit without even realizing that Helena has sent an aerial drone to accompany the mission.
13:58Noticing the presence of the equipment, Lionel orders the commander to bring it back,
14:02as it is impossible to predict whether the specimen will be affected by the presence of that
14:06device flying over the perimeter. However, instead of collecting the drone, Helena decides to continue
14:12monitoring it, even though she knows that this decision could put Annabelle's life in danger.
14:16While swimming around the ocean rocks, the scientist spots the pink light flashing and decides to go and
14:22find it. At that moment, Annabelle finds a creature trapped at the bottom of the sea surrounded by fishing
14:27nets and tries to free it, but the specimen can't resist and takes its last breaths. Suddenly, the woman hears a
14:33roar and tries to return to the surface, but ends up being caught by a strong current of water and
14:38hits her head on a rock. Worried about his friend, Andre jumps into the water and manages to find her,
14:43then he takes her back to the boat and quickly pilots it to the pier. When she arrives on dry land,
14:49Annabelle takes her car and drives to her mother's house in search of support, as she is very shocked
14:53by what she has just witnessed. Now that she knows the creature's location, Helena decides to gather a
14:59group of sailors to try and capture it alive. After the loss of its young, the specimen moves
15:05to an area even closer to the beach and dozens of locals have the chance to witness its light.
15:09Despite the beauty of the scene, people notice the sadness in the sound emitted by the animal,
15:14which is in great mourning for its loss. In the morning, when she wakes up, Annabelle finds all
15:19her family gathered around and tells them what has happened. She reveals that the fishing boat sank due to
15:24an accident, as the fisherman caught the baby in the fishing net and that's what caused the shipwreck.
15:29Annabelle's goal now is to get the animal away from the coast before the navy soldiers capture it.
15:34The creature's natural home is a trench 11,000 meters underground. So if scientists help it return
15:40there, the army will never be able to capture it. However, in order to do this, Annabelle will have
15:45to decode the specimen's language to be able to communicate with it effectively. The plan is to use
15:50the light from the lighthouse to contact the animal, but for this the oceanographer and her team will
15:54have to wait until nightfall. Meanwhile in the port, Pierre leads a rebellion and convinces some
15:59fishermen to go to sea to seek revenge for their comrades who lost their lives during the sinking
16:04of the Rosa Davies. When he notices the guy's intention to eliminate the creature, Julian tries
16:09to stop them and starts a fight with Pierre. During the fight, Harry shows up to separate them,
16:14but the fisherman is still obsessed with his revenge plan and steals one of Harry's boats to go
16:19after the monster. When she is informed of what has happened, Helena sends some soldiers to bring
16:23the fishermen back and Annabelle counts on Julian's support to go after them. When she realizes that
16:28the creature is moving away from the coast, the commander orders her men to return, as they are
16:33approaching a zone full of explosives from the Second World War. At this point, the sea creature
16:38gives up on escaping and begins to prepare for the confrontation, as it realizes that its enemies
16:43will not give up on catching up with it. In an attempt to save the lives of Pierre and the other
16:47fishermen, Annabelle approaches their boat and tries to convince them to turn around, but her warnings
16:52are completely ignored. Suddenly, the animal sticks one of its fins out of the surface, and it's only
16:57then that Pierre gets an idea of its size. Frightened, the fisherman decides to give in before it's too
17:03late and gets in touch with Julian to hear what he has to say. At this point, he discovers that his
17:08boat is sailing above the bombs and Annabelle orders the man to turn off the engines, as the creature is
17:13only a few meters below them. Upon contacting Helena and Lionel, the oceanographer discovers
17:18that, in fact, the animal below them is slowly sinking. Therefore, the group needs to move away
17:23urgently, because if the creature hits the seabed, Annabelle and Pierre will have their boats destroyed
17:29by the explosion. However, instead of leaving, Annabelle decides to stay and do something to
17:34save the poor animal who has given up on her own life after losing her baby. At dusk, Andre and his
17:39friends manage to get in touch with the oceanographer and follow her instructions to send out a light
17:43signal via the lighthouse. To everyone's surprise, the plan works and the creature begins to answer
17:49the call, causing its body to flash back. Now, the team has to figure out how to make the animal move,
17:54because it's still standing in the same place. In an attempt to point the sea monster in the right
17:59direction, Annabelle asks a mirror to point the lighthouse light towards the sea. Just then, however,
18:05the army arrives in town and Jimmy convinces the locals to join Sylvia in forming a barrier to
18:10prevent the soldiers from reaching the lighthouse. Hearing the animal's noises of sadness, Annabelle
18:15has the idea of using sound waves to try to communicate with it and asks Lee to transmit a
18:20recording of the music she used to play for her late son on the piano. It is already dawn when this
18:25sound reaches the sea creature's ears and it begins to move towards the open sea. To ensure the animal's
18:30safety, Julian and Pierre decide to accompany him, but when the sun rises he can no longer
18:35follow the signal emitted by the lighthouse. Seeing a navy boat approaching, Annabelle decides
18:40to dive in to try to communicate directly with the creature and believes that it will be able
18:44to understand her, as they both share the same pain. When she sees this beautiful animal standing
18:49right in front of her, the oceanographer swims towards it and uses the vibration of her body
18:54to communicate with it. When she touches it, Annabelle faints and has a reunion with her son,
18:59during which she has the chance to ask for forgiveness for not letting him play alone on the beach
19:03that day. After apologizing to Enzo, Annabelle says goodbye to the boy and wakes up frightened.
19:09When she opens her eyes, she sees the animal moving away and the military are forced to abort
19:13the mission as all the communication systems begin to fail. Seeing the two boats approaching the shore,
19:19the residents of Faycamp celebrate as they realize that Annabelle and the fishermen have made it home
19:23alive. The next day, Harry organizes a ceremony so that the families of the men who were on board the
