Former boxing champ Manny Pacquiao trains in Los Angeles ahead of title bout

Boxing great Manny Pacquiao holds a sparring session in Los Angeles on June 25, 2025 ahead of next month’s title bout against WBC welterweight Mario Barrios in Las Vegas on July 19. The eight-time world champion announced his return to the ring earlier this year after retiring a few years ago. The southpaw, who has 62 wins, eight losses, and two draws in a 72-fight career, was also elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. Pacquiao told Reuters his body has felt great throughout training camp, but admitted he's had to make a few adjustments in terms of body recovery, as the former champ enters the fight at 46 years old.
