Pacquiao ready to return to ring after he, Barrios make weight for WBC title fight

Manny Pacquiao is officially ready to return to the boxing ring after making weight on July 18, 2025 for this weekend's WBC title fight with holder Mario Barrios in Las Vegas. Filipino great Pacquiao, 62-8-2 (39 KOs), weighed in at 146.8 pounds (66.5kg) while Mexican-American Barrios 29-2-1 (18 KOs) tipped the scales at 146.2 pounds (66.3kg) for the 147 pound (66.8kg) limit welterweight class. The beloved fighter, 46, known to many as 'PacMan' is giving up four inches in reach (71 inches vs. 67 inches), more than six inches in height (6-foot to 5-foot-5-1/2) and more than 16 years in age to Barrios, who will defend his belt for the second time. Pacquiao already holds the record for most titles. A win would on July 19 (local time) will extend his mark to 13 across eight weight classes.
