A third have started budgeting and a fifth have started buying presents.
Are you already budgeting and buying gifts?

Transcript
00:00I'm not budgeting myself, I haven't talked about Christmas at all, but I can understand if people have got big families, it's a good thing to start early, because you can buy a little bit here, a little bit there.
00:11I think it's good to buy early, but I just don't buy gifts for people. It's save money. They're a lot cheaper after Christmas.
00:19It's far too early, because if you bought a present for somebody, if they wanted to exchange it, the voucher would be out for days. So no, don't do that.
00:31And if you leave it to the last minute, if you've got a big family, you're going to start thinking, oh, I've got to get this in, I've got to get that in. So small bits, but on a regular basis, and eventually you get there. So yeah, it's good for planning, I think.
00:44When do you tend to start budgeting or planning or buying for Christmas?
00:48Probably end of October.
00:53I don't buy gifts. What I do is get my friends together and we go for a meal after Christmas.
