00:00So we welcome the announcement of the de-escalation, but of course we've got to see what that looks like in meaningful terms.
00:07So, you know, the onus now will have to be on Iran to stop firing missiles, and we need to see what will materialise now in the hours ahead.
00:16Well, it's too early to even speculate around the ceasefire.
00:20As I've said, it's only just been announced, and that is to be welcomed.
00:24Israel have agreed to that, Iran said they've agreed to it, but the onus is on Iran to stop firing the missiles.
00:31Iran is a threat to the United Kingdom.
00:34They threaten us domestically.
00:36About eight weeks ago, we saw the arrests of Iranian dissidents in our own country.
00:40We've seen organisations and individuals associated with Iran do great harm to our country.
00:46And, of course, they are a sponsor of terror in the Middle East, notwithstanding the fact, of course, that Iran should not have nuclear capabilities.
00:54And that is why I believe that the action that the United States undertook over the weekend was absolutely necessary.
