00:00Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Tuesday, June the 24th, bringing you some of our top headlines today.

00:06First of all, a piece we put out yesterday, road closures, lots of them.

00:11We've put together a list of the road closures which are going to be in place over the next week or two.

00:20Like I say, there are a lot, so please have a look at that if you're a motorist and try to avoid if you can.

00:25Then we have a few food hygiene ratings out.

00:31We had 16 yesterday, ranging from ratings of 1 to 5.

00:37Then I've just put another one out this morning.

00:39One has received a rating of 4, having previously been given a 0 just last year.

00:46So they've really, really upped the game, so well done to them.

00:53And then finally, one from the courts.

00:56A vulnerable woman has admitted a charge of attempted murder after she tried to smother her elderly mother in her hospital bed

01:03in efforts to carry out what they've referred to as a mercy killing.

01:07Susan Hardwick attempted to murder her mother, Joan, who was in her late 80s,

01:12in a hospital bed during an incident at Doncaster Ryle Infirmary back in July last year.
