00:00But the one number I thought was cool on Raleigh,
00:03most homers by a switch hitter in Major League history
00:06through 75 games.
00:08And the three before him, three under him,
00:11were all Mickey Mantle.
00:12Mantle had, like, the top three seasons
00:15of switch hitting home runs by the All-Star break.
00:17And Raleigh has shattered past all of those.
00:20People are already saying, like,
00:23Will, he hit more home runs than Judge.
00:26And I saw today, some people said,
00:28because he's a catcher, no.
00:31Because eventually the catching takes its toll on the body
00:34in, you know, 162 games.
00:38So do you buy that?
00:40Or is he young enough to keep going?
00:43Well, there's two.
00:44I don't buy that because I think they do a very good job of
00:48they give him a lot of days off, but he still hits.
00:53They DH him a lot.
00:55So he gets in there and just goes up and swings the bat.
00:57And it's very rare he gets a full day off, you know,
01:02maybe once every two weeks because he DH him so much that I think
01:05it manages the amount of catching that he does back there.
01:09So I think that that's going to help him.
01:11But we saw this with Judge a couple years ago when he did it.
01:15I think it just mentally takes a toll on you no matter what you do out there,
01:20right?
01:21When you start getting to those, you get to September and it's such a long
01:24grind and you're at 57, 58.
01:28Like, you heard Judge.
01:29I mean, would it take Judge two weeks to finally get that last one because he
01:32was, you know, he was just, he was pressing so hard and he wanted to get it
01:36done with.
01:36So I think that's what would hit somebody like Raleigh if he got into that air.
01:41But man, what a start and what a first half he has had.
01:46PCA and Saya Suzuki of the Cubs, the first Cub teammates to have 20 plus homers
01:50before the All-Star break since Rizzo and Bryant in 2016.
01:55How about that for those guys?
01:58Marlins beat the Braves 5-3.
01:59The bad news, the Braves season gets worse.
02:01Chris Sale goes on the I.L. with a fractured rib cage that he hurt in a
02:06Mets start that he had last week.
02:08A fractured rib cage for Chris Sale.
02:10I mean, that just sounds painful.
02:12I've broken ribs and cartilage.
02:14It's the worst.
02:15It is the worst.
02:16You can't do anything.
02:18No.
02:18Brewers beat the Twins 9-8.
02:20How about Yelich on Friday night?
02:22He had eight RBIs in that game.
02:24A franchise record.
02:26Great weekend for Yelich and the Brewers.
02:28And how about this Mizorowski?
02:29This Jacob Mizorowski's now started 2-0, 1.64 ERA at 11 Ks in his first two starts.
02:36And get the popcorn ready for Wednesday.
02:40Yeah.
02:40Skeens versus Mizorowski in Milwaukee, Scotty.
02:44Let's go.
02:45That's a great ticket.
02:46They should get a big full house in Milwaukee for that.
02:48Are they going to have that on national television or like on MLB Network or something Wednesday?
02:54Well, I will tell you now that on Wednesday, they are playing at 2-10 in the afternoon.
02:59And I already see it says MLB Network here.
03:02So, they are putting that game on MLB Network on Wednesday afternoon.
03:05We'll be on for that for at least half of it.
03:08Right.
03:09Yeah.
03:10For most of it.
03:10Right.
03:11We'll be on less than an hour after it starts.
03:13So, we'll get a lot of time in with Skeens and Mizorowski.
03:16Reds beat the Cards 4-1.
03:17This Andrew Abbott's having a hell of a year.
03:19Now has a 1.79 ERA.
03:23The best news is now the Yankees miss him because he pitched yesterday.
03:26So, the Yankees won't see him in Cincinnati over the next couple of days, which I like to see.
03:31Rockies beat the Diamondbacks.
03:33He did it again, Scotty.
03:34He's been on fire.
03:35Cognac.
03:35Forget the Cognac.
03:37Give me the Moniac with a go-ahead two-run homer.
03:40Second deck shot at Coors yesterday afternoon.
03:43Big shot for him.
03:44Phillies beat the Mets 7-1.
03:46Schwarber had a homer.
03:48Edmondo Sosa had a two-run shot.
03:50The Phillies now lead the NL East by a game over the Mets.
03:54Soto had two homers on Saturday night.
03:573-43, eight homers, four doubles, and a 12-43 OPS since May the 30th.
04:02I'd say Soto's gotten going, Scotty, after that week.
04:05Yeah, like, I mean, honestly, over the last 20 and change days, he's playing like he did with the Yankees with that bat.
04:14Yep.
04:14Giants beat the Red Sox 9-5 yesterday.
04:17Devers did homer against him.
04:19It was on Saturday afternoon.
04:21He hit a little oppo taco shot into the left field seats.
04:26So we can all stop talking about that now.
04:28And Rafael Devers can get back to a normal life just playing baseball in San Francisco.
04:32You know, that's all he did against him this weekend.
04:35Yeah, he did nothing else.
04:36And he barely got it out of the park.
04:38It was in, like, the first row and left.
04:40So he did nothing, really, besides that against Boston.
04:44He did nothing else.
