00:00The A's have had all kinds of problems lately and they just, they cannot score any runs and they are just giving up bunches of runs. They lose in Toronto 12-0 last night. Bunch of homers for the Blue Jays, but this one by Vlade Jr., I'm not sure that it's landed yet. Sportsnet Toronto.
00:22As much as you can. Guerrero, high in the air, the deep left field, and that one is gone.
00:32Oh, the horn. You know, they got to get rid of the goalie, you know, the NHL horn. It's embarrassing. But I think this team is better than people think they are. I think they're decent. They can score. They got some pitching.
00:48They're going to be a player in this thing before it's said and done. I'm not giving up on them at all. And I've been hitting tickets with them.
00:58They have actually gotten themselves back to 500 with that win last night. And they're only two games back at a last wild card in the American League.
01:07So they are very much in the mix with how they have been playing lately. That's for sure.
01:12The Rays also broke out the big stick last night in Houston against the Astros.
01:1913-3. A couple of other deep homers in this one. My boy, Junior Caminero. I love this guy.
01:27FanDuel Sportsnet.
01:28He wants to get it right. Oh, a fly ball. High and deep into right center. Off the bat of Caminero. That baby's gone.
01:38Home run, Junior Caminero. A three-run shot. And boy, the Rays have come back in a big way here in the seventh inning.
01:48Yeah, and they've been decent as well. And he had six RBIs in that game. So stop the press on the Rays and the Jays. They're both winning.
01:59And there was only one late night game last night. Extra innings between the Nationals and the Mariners.
02:05The Nationals, Scotty, they ended up scoring seven runs in the top of the 10th inning.
02:13Highlighted by Josh Bell. Big fly on Masson.
02:17And Bell will check one to right. Let's go. See you later.
02:25It's a seven-run 10th inning for the Nats.
02:30I mean, you know, and this is another team. Remember, they had won five in a row and they lost another winning game.
02:37I mean, they have been decent. That's because of the Wood Doctor. And now Bell getting in on it as well.
02:43So there's another team that you think is easy pickings and they're not. And then how about your guy, Tipper Gore?
02:50Doesn't he lead the league in strikeouts or something? He's already hit 100.
02:55He had eight more last night. Already hit the 100 mark. And he does lead the league in strikeouts so far.
03:04Nats have won seven of their last 10, by the way, after the victory in Seattle last night.
03:11A couple of other things in baseball. You had sent me all those Gleyber Torres numbers.
03:16The best hitting second baseman in baseball this year. He does have, does lead in a couple of the categories.
03:22And I don't think anybody has any idea that he does because you hear nothing about him with the Tigers this year.
03:31And he's having a really good year. Yankees let him go. He's become a good part of that Detroit lineup.
03:37That's exactly what's happened. And I think his time in New York obviously has come to fruition for him in Detroit.
03:44I think it's paid off for him. I think all the stress, all the pressure, all the media in your face, all the blame, all the success, all the failures, all the, you know, ALCS failings of this franchise.
04:02He is vastly experienced. Right. And so he goes to Detroit and they got a, they got a winner and he's immediately on another winner and there's no stress there.
